"Aww, you poor thing... We should get them together sometime, Hayden's been bursting with energy. The other day he broke one of the potted plants." She giggled again, shaking her head.
The giggling stopped as she noticed the look on Kae's face. Was she bothered by her child's homosexuality? No, no, was it that BOTH of her children were homosexual? Kae's attempts at seeming fine were ignored, Asu had already caught on and wasn't going to play along with Kae's outer facade. "Well, perhaps now he has someone to talk to. I know Deskri gets all excited whenever he talks about Rasiel, so I'm sure he's very much loved." She smiled a little, deciding to tread the waters carefully for now.

Aiden looked on over at the lady who had taken an interest in his ramblings and replied "Ah, the other mammal is the echidna, which happens to be a type of ant eater. Funny thing is, that they don't look like ant eaters at all, they look more like porcupines or hedgehogs." Aiden was happy to be talking about something he knew about, working at a Zoo definitely had it's advantages sometimes.

"Well.." Walter thought a moment. "It wouldn't be the first girl/girl wedding I've attended. I've actually planned one before. It would be the first one I'd be designing for." He looked through his pockets until he found his card. "I should still have the numbers of some of the people we'd used for that wedding. I was actually saving it for myself, but that didn't work out..."
He then took his card out and handed it to Kae, turning to Asu and handed one to her. "You should give me a call, too. You know, let our kids get together. Maybe go shopping? I haven't been able to go to the mall and buy anything for myself. It's all about Freya in there." He smiled, networking was his home turf.

Kae sighed a little, but managed to even push that aside. "I suppose you're right. At least I don't have to worry about him not having any friends or being alone." she reasoned as she gave quite a convincing smile. Something, that if they had known her, was an odd occurrence to see from her. She listened to Walter as he explained himself and then offered a card to her. She took the card read it over. "That sounds great! You're definitely hired. That at the least saves me time on explaining to those nutcases out there that its perfectly fine for two girls to be wed." she half-joked, trying to lighten the mood for herself. Everything, despite being uncomfortable in her opinion, was falling into place. Things were at least looking better for her children, and that was all she could really ask for.

"An echidna.. Of course." she responded, as though it had finally dawned on her. "That's very interesting.. It really doesn't look like an anteater at all. I always thought they looked just like hedgehogs." she laughed a bit, feeling nice to have a good conversation with anyone really. She was pleased as people were migling and even Kae was starting to look better.

"Indeed, for them, I think that's the best thing they can get." She nodded a little. She was of course, referring to their having Bad Things which would make it hard for either of them to really make friends with anyone. She took the card from Walter with a smile, "oh that sounds like fun, we should definitely arrange a time for that. Hayden'll be so excited when I tell him." She giggled again.

Aiden looked around the room;turning back to look at Eleana, he asked, "so, what exactly am I supposed to do here? I hardly ever go out other than for work and any time after that I'm at home" Looking around the room again, he wished Cecil were here that way he would have a hyper active child to break the ice.

It didn't take too long for Aderyn to reach the Gymnasium, though when she got there, she sort of stalled and stood in the doorway, unsure on if she was just supposed to waltz right in and introduce herself. Oh curses, she was always horrible at these sorts of things.. at least they all had something in common instead of like the horrible High School reunion she had been dragged off to the year before. The thought alone caused Aderyn to cringe but she sighed it off and slowly made her way into the gym, looking at everyone slowly but not too long so she wouldn't seem like she was staring.

Walter noticed Aderyn come in from the corner of his eye. He excused himself lightly from Kae and Asu, bowing slightly as he did so. He made his was over to her and held a hand in front of his face as he whispered playfully, "It's okay. I know how awkward it feels to be coming in to one of these things late." He gave a small smile, then flamboyantly outstretched a hand to her. "Walter Davern."

The woman smiled as someone walked over and introduced himself, "Aderyn Pseudonymous..and thanks for coming over. I wasn't too sure if I was allowed to walk over and sit down and start talking.." she chuckles a little, still feeling a tad awkward.

"It's alright," Walter began more overtly. He turned his body to the room as he said, "We're all here for the same reason, after all." He then turned back to Aderyn. "It's a pleasure."
He then looked around the room once more and then back at his drink. It almost surprised him to see it still there. He had barely done anything besides hold it. It was like him to get carried away like that. He took a turn out to speak for a second as he took the first sip of his punch.

Looking around the room as well, Aderyn sighed a little before stretching a bit, having gotten a little tired of standing, but she could endure it. "So... Do you have a boy or a girl?" She asked, figuring it'd be best to ask now rather than just assume later on, that and it seemed to be a good place to start.

"Oh, well, Freya's my little girl," he said as he reached into his pocket. He thumbed through card after card he had picked up from other people before he finally got to his most recent photo he had blindly shoved into his wallet in haste. He held it out to Aderyn. "This is her new spring look. She chose it herself."

Eying the picture, she couldn't help but grin, "Shes darling." Aderyn whispers, feeling a little bad that she had not yet gotten a picture of her son. "I would have a picture of my boy, but he's such a little fidget that he won't sit still in front of the camera without his 'thief outfit' on." she laughs at the last bit.
Giovanni did seem to dislike getting caught on camera without his makeshift and badly made costume.
