Freya hadn't quite payed much attention to a lot. She waited by Hayden to make sure he'd be okay to go out and play a little more. From where she was, she saw the two girls interacting for a moment and squeaked a bit when one had pulled the other in to bed. She didn't know what was going on, but she just somehow knew that this wasn't the best place for Hayden and herself at the moment. She hoped she had grabbed Hayden's hand before he noticed as she led the both of them to the door.

"O-oh!" Hayden felt himself get dragged out of the room by Freya, but paused for a moment to wave at his brother. "Bye-bye!" Since Freya had taken command, he figured he'd go along with whatever she had in store. Whatever it was had to be fun, since Freya was fun to play with.

Deskri had been half watching what was going on with Syth and Alice, which hadn't been a good thing for him. Kagyaku had stopped pushing for control, yes, but he had started to make lewd commentary on the scene in front of him instead. Deskri half wished for Kagyaku to just go back to trying to take over him rather than have to sit and listen to the demon ramble on in his mind without having the option to turn him off.

"I need to go back to my room now..." He sat up right and stretched a little, causing a few pops to erupt from his back and elbows. "Thank you for stopping him... When I get a little better I'll definitely make it up to you." Deskri offered Sonnet a faint smile before he started to wobble out of the office and back to his dorm. All the while Kagyaku kept up his commentary just for the hell of it.

Alice had let out a tiny yelp as she was pulled into the bed with Syth rather suddenly. Her face began to turn a tint of red as her own body grew hot with embarrassment. "S-syth... this really is not the place for such things..." she was about the mention the toddlers but they had quickly left, followed by Deskri. Everyone seemed to be leaving, maybe because of what they were doing. "..i-if you would like to be close, then perhaps we should go somewhere a little less.. public. Or at least not where there are children present. I do not quite feel comfortable expressing my feelings physically in front of others.." she rambled on nervously. Alice had seemed to have hit a weak point in her stature as she continued to ramble on, her English-sounding accent becoming thicker by the moment. "Or perhaps we could just do something else other than this, and save this close encounter for a later time.."

Syth remained still though, hearing Alice rant and bicker about how they shouldn't show their feeling rather physically. Oh, just a little longer... always a little longer.

She couldn't help but grumble, complying with Alice's wish, as she pushed in for nothing but a quick kiss. Soon trying to find the strength inside her to walk, hopefully on her own. She had hardly the time to rest by herself, which may or may not have been a good thing. Depending on how you felt towards Syth being active. Yet, still, she latched onto Alice. Holding her nice and close.

She was fixed, well, for the most part. Just a few little itty bitty things left, and Alice would be back to her, almost, normal self. Just a few more tweaking here, a bit of tinkering there. Oooh.

Though, Syth pause as she thought to herself. Something else? What else could they do? A bit of time at the lake, eating out, meeting some friends, what else would Alice want to do? Perhaps, she should be dragged off to bed and let that be the end of it.

Sonnet stopped paying attention to all that was around her, focusing on not falling asleep. No, sleeping here would be a bad thing, a very bad thing. When Deskri left, the additional warmth that was making her tired left with him, as he was leaning on her and all that. She waved meekly to Deskri, waiting for a few more moments just to wake herself up. She had a dorm to reorginize after all.

She stood with a sort of 'I'm going to get stuff done' look on her face and walked out of the office, ready to take on her new challenge.

Alice frowned for a moment, trying to think of what to do next. She looked to Syth curiously, "Can you talk yet? Or do you still need some time?" she asked, worried that she may never hear her beauty voice in her mind again. The idea was absurd, but it was a small fear that began to develop from being so close to her. Grabbing Syth's hand gently, she helped her to stand. "What should we do now? We could go meet some more people.. maybe see if we find anyone else we know... Or we could do something else different, go look around, see what's new.." she listed off the suggestions, her accent was becoming more toned down as she calmed down, the redness in her face fading. Looking to Syth for an answer, she smiled softly, enjoying the image of Syth's lovely facial features.

She tried to, oh, did she try. But she couldn't help but shake her head no. The headache was still buzzing, but it had gotten better than when she fell on the bed exhausted. Mmm.. maybe she wasn't as strong as she thought she was.

Though, she listened to Alice listing off the things they could do, and as she spoke about the short list, that last item seemed the most interesting, and to show her support, she shook her head in a nod. Oh, it wasn't hard to live being mute. A white board fixed most of everything, and even then, some emotions could fit right now.

Yet, Syth tightened her grip on Alice's hand, pulling her close. She was about ready to leave the nurse's office. Mmm... perhaps something nice and cool would ease her mind a bit. Damned headaches.

Freya pulled Hayden off into the hallway and headed to the door to lead outside, but stopped suddenly when she saw who was at the end of the hall. It was Walter. It was just then that she remembered that she had planned to return back to the same place they left before he had arrived. Someone must have called the parents of the toddlers so they could be picked up. Maybe that girl who made Hayden all better? She didn't know, but she knew this meant trouble and she didn't want Hayden to see it. She looked down, ashamed a bit and sheepishly said to Hayden. "Sorry... I gotta go home now." She let go of his hand and walked to Walter, her head lowered.

Walter had started to walk to her. He started off sternly, "I told you that I would be right back, didn't I? I told you to stay put and what did you do? You ran off. I had looked everywhere in that lake, hoping you hadn't jumped in and drowned! Or worse!"

Tears started to roll down Freya's face. She hadn't thought about that. Or how much trouble she made.

Walter saw the tears hit the floor and instantly his heart began to melt. He realized she wasn't at fault. He shouldn't have left her alone in the first place. "I'm sorry, honey," he hugged her. "I'm just glad you're okay. A lot of people are watching me right now and I can't afford to let anything happen to you. They might take you away from me."

She held on to Walter tightly and sobbed into his shirt. It was one of the softer ones he didn't like to get dirty, but he didn't seem to mind right now. She didn't like being in trouble, but she didn't want to be taken away from her dad.

Walter picked up Freya and started to head out. Freya grabbed on to his shirt and tugged on it. It reminded him of when she first did so to get his attention when he adopted her. His heart sank a little.
"Daddy... what about Hayden?"

"Oh... Your little friend? Honey, I'm sure someone's going to come to pick him up too. If they called me, I'm sure they called his mommy or daddy."

"B-but..." she trailed off, tears still slowly coming down her face.

"Okay, I tell you what. We'll just sit right here until someone comes for him, but then it's straight home," he had to admit, she did push him in to this, but it was the right thing to do. He lowered himself against a wall, still holding on to Freya as she held on to him tightly, still crying ever so slightly.

"Huh?" Hayden stared down at the end of the hall and noticed Walter as well, but it took him a bit longer to make the connection. "Bye..." He waved a little and then looked back at the nurses office. Where should he go now? His big brother had left him alone again, and he didn't know where his big brother's room was so...

Hayden made his way over to a bench and then crawled on top of it, still watching Freya and her daddy. They seemed close, kind of like how he was with his mommy.

Speaking of his mother, she arrived just a few moments after Walter had. Asu noticed that someone else had already been reunited with one of their children, but it didn't ease her worries. She'd been told that Deskri had been involved, and she knew that could only mean that someone had gotten hurt. She walked down the hall at a brisk pace, but stopped as soon as she saw Hayden. "Hayden!" Asu scurried over to him and then picked him up. "Mommy was worried about youuuu... Are you okay? No scratches?" She looked him over as she was speaking, barely giving Hayden any room to reply. "Nope! I hurted my leg but it's all better now." Hayden replied with a giggle, he was already used to Asu's fast-paced speech pattern. "He did? I see. Well! Did you thank the person that fixed your leg?" Asu grinned and then looked over at Walter and Freya. "Is that little girl okay?"

"Uh-huh, Freya didn' get any boo-boos." Hayden nodded and then waved over at them as a final goodbye.

[Some days later.....]

Deskri staggered into the nurses office and then rolled Sonnet onto a bed with a sigh. He turned and then rummaged through the cabinets and drawers, looking for disinfectants and bandages to wrap her wounds with... Where was the nurse at, anyway? Shouldn't they have this place manned at all times?

He sighed again and returned to Sonnet in order to start wrapping her wounds. Though, when it came to the wound on her back he stopped, staring at it for a moment. "Really...? As if this day couldn't get any worse..." He sighed, Sonnet was going to kill him for this but it really needed to be dressed.

He struggled with her shirt for a second, getting it up just enough to wrap the wounds before he pulled it back on again. He was just thankful that his bad eyesight made everything blurry enough that he couldn't really make any details out. With that accomplished, he replaced the bandages and the disinfectants.

"Can I help you?" The other nurse entered the room to see Deskri finishing the last of his cleaning. She looked to Sonnet on the bed and then to him with a worried expression. "My friend got into a really bad accident, would you please take care of her...? I... I'm going to go clean up the rest of the mess..." He glanced from Sonnet to the nurse. "Of course... you go along I'll make sure she gets better." The nurse seemed a little apprehensive, but Deskri managed to flee the nurses office without any other interruptions. He was at least glad that Sonnet had someone to look after her.

The next day Deskri returned to the nurses office carrying a platter of brownies and a pitcher of Sonnet's favorite beverage, along with two cups to drink with. He shuffled his way in and then set the items down on a table next to Sonnet's bed. He looked down at her, still feeling immensely guilty for her state of health. "Your friend is doing fine. I'm going on break for a bit so if you need anything help yourself." The nurse from before poked her head in and smiled, and then retreated as soon as she had appeared.

"Thank... you?" Deskri blinked after her, frowning a little as he pulled up a chair so he could sit by Sonnet's bed. He took one of her hands into his own and sighed, hoping she'd wake up soon.

Pain. Even in her unconscious state that was all she could really feel. No sounds, no memories, just the pain, and even when her perception of the world around her slowly showed itself once again, that pain still lingered and kept her from wanting to fully awaken, so she lay in bed, half asleep to the world while the other half held tight to the physical discomfort the ordeal had caused.

It was Deskri's awkward thanks that made her force herself awake, though her eyes still remained closed for now. As he held her hand, she squeezed it to let him know she was listening, trying to gain enough energy to open her eyes.

"Sonnet?" Deskri turned his gaze to her face worriedly. He'd felt her hand tighten, but she didn't appear to be awake. Perhaps she was in the same state he had been after Kagyaku had left. In too much pain to do anything, even breathe. The thought made his heart sink; he didn't want Sonnet to have to deal with that sort of pain, ever. "Do you want painkillers? You must be in agony..." He doubted she would reply, or even if she could reply, but he made the offer anyway. Anything to ease her suffering.

"Honestly...I don't think they'd do me much good right now..." she said after a few long moments of her trying to remember how to speak. Her eyes opened slowly, though her gaze was obviously hazy.

"A drink would be nice though...I'm really thirsty for some reason..."
