Deneb nibbled at the clover for a few minutes longer before stretching and taking a few sips from the ice cold spring herself. "Thank you so much." she said nodding in thanks to the other femme.
Deneb looked back up at the sky noting the night was already half gone. "Its been a wonderful night." she said more to herself than to Soraven.

Soraven couldn't help herself, and gave a large yawn. It had been a long day, and she had finally found someone to talk to, and it wasn't a crazy person either, or a killer kolana. That made it a good day for her. It is rather beautiful, though it's going to get cold with the sky clearing. She ambled slowly off to the side, until she leaned against a tree, hidden under the boughs. The snow was mostly melted from around the base, so that her hooves wouldn't freeze, and the tree would give her protection from any weather that might come in during the night.
She locked her knees like her kind could do, but also leaned up against the tree for support. Your welcome to join if you want, or there are some other nice trees around here. I'm sorry, but it just hit me that I'm really tired. She yawned again, and her head started to slowly lower as her eyes closed and her neck relaxed, though her ears faced forward and backwards to catch any sound.

Deneb nodded and trotted over and leaned against the other side of the tree as Soraven. She settled herself and sighed contentedly.
"Good night, Soraven. I'm glad to have met you." she said quietly before letting herself drift off.

((morning xD sorry, I this posted but I came back, and it was gone. t_t ))
Soraven woke, looking around her with sleepy eyes as the morning light came into the clearing around them. The air still had a bite to it, but it felt just a tad warmer then the other morning. Maybe spring was finally going to make its way through the snow and bring the grass and warmer weather. she moved away from the tree, stretching each limb to the fullest to try and limber them up, before ambling over to the spring, breaking ice that had formed over it to release the water enough to take a drink.
After slowly taking her fill of the freezing water, she shook herself, from nose to tail, trying to warm herself up. She shivered a bit, then headed out for the sunlight, to start soaking up the rays. she always kept Deneb in sight though, just in case something tried to attack the still-sleeping mare. and she didn't travel too far away for the same reason. she would hate for something to happen to her new friend.

Deneb woke up not long after Soraven and stretched out and shook her head tossing her mane out of her eyes. "Good morning." she smiled and stepped over taking a sip from the icy stream.
"Feels warmer than yesterday." she said with a nod stepping out into the sun. She glanced over at Soraven and saw the other femme was even prettier in the light than in the dark. "So, what are you planning today?"

Soraven smiled at Deneb. Good Morning. Did you sleep well? She stayed where she stood, looking out into the clearing. After watching Deneb take her fill of water, Soraven nodded. The chill is not so great. I think spring is finally going to come. She smiled good-naturedly at the other mare. I don't really have a plan. I just live one day at a time. Though I was thinking of maybe walking a bit, just to see where my feet lead.

"Sounds like a good idea for any day." she said with a nod. "It'll be nice to see warmer weather again," she added. "You get so tired of being cold." she then stopped and thought for several moments. "Would you mind terribly if I followed you for a bit today. I don't usually go out on the plains, but today I'm feeling curious enough to feel like exploring a little further away from home." she said with a smile.

Soraven nodded. If you want to. I had a few friends I wanted to check up on anyway. if they are there. A few are as free-footed as I am, and don't often stay in the same place either. We sometimes run into each other, and that's how I've gotten to know them over the seasons. They've probably holed up around there for the winter, but I never know. And I know they would be interested in meeting you. She smiled. Most of them are very friendly. Though, I would watch out for Enali if we see here. She's a little crazy. She crossed her eyes at the though of the young filly.

Deneb laughed just a bit. "I'm well adjusted to crazy." she said with a nod. "Sounds interesting though." she added. "I think I'd like to meet your friends." she smiled and stretched before returning to her former position. "So whenever you're ready to go." she finished looking around taking in the new day.
