Raine opened her eyes slightly. Looking up, she say a very familiar face. "S-Sachi...." She seemed almost out of breathe. She didn't have the time for a reunion. She had to warm Sachi about Curio. "Sachi....Don't....Go....Near....Cur...."
With that, she had exausted all her energy, and lost conciousness. It appeared that Curio not only struck her to knock her out, but he also somehow drained her energy. Raine would be fine with rest.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "But we can't just stay here!" Rikku shouted arguably. Diablo had already taken off to find his brother, and Sachi followed after him.
"If we stay here, we're just ducks!" Rikku proclaimed.
"We'd be safer if we stayed in here. Diablo will take care of Curio. If we leave, he can attack from any direction."
"Fine, you can stay here. I'm leaving.
Rikku grabbed her sword, wrapped the belt around her waist and tightened the strap. Just as she began to run towards the door, a voice echoed into the room from outside.
"Rikku....Long time, no see." Rikku stopped dead in her tracks, as the figure she saw before stepped in through the already open door. "Did you really think you could run from me forever? Or perhaps you had thought you became strong enough to take me on?"
Rikku began to back away slowly. Her hands trembled with fear. He smiled, as he continued to approach her. He stopped, and his eyes shifted to the left, as Raeka, from behind, sliced downwards towards the ground. Rikku closed her eyes, looking away.
Blood trickled to the ground. She opened her eyes again. Her heart practically stopped beating. Curio's blade had been removed from it's sheath, and was now piercing Raekas' torso. The young elf was coughing up blood. The dagger he held in his hand fell to the floor, as his grip on it loosened. Curio gave the blade a quick jerk from his body, and he fell to the floor, bleeding.
Though blood was dripping from his weapon, it didn't take much to realise that his weapon had reformed itself. It's edge was sharp enough to cut the bone. Turning to Rikku, a sinister grin stretched across his face. Blood lust was appearent in his eyes.
Rikku just froze. She was completely terrified. How did he move so quickly? She knew that if she fought him, it would be like a tiny spider fighting a swift river current.
Curio lifted his foot, and took a step towards her....
((Hurrah, for craptacularism))

Diablo once Sachi had gotten there said nothing, he jumped up and started rushing. He knew Curio was on his way to the bar, and if he shed blood of any of his allies, he would find his life ending. His hand moved out and a dark aura mixed with fire started to gather, he had left his sword on the ground and now it was starting to glow with the same pattern as the aura around his hand. The blade then started to slowly dissapate into smoke and then soon faded away. The shape of the sword came aparent in his hand as he ran and soon solidified into the sword.
Diablo smirked a bit, so this was the showdown of the ages? One would die, if not both of them. This would be the passing of an age possibly. He then stopped at the edge of the clearing as his arm dropped to his side. Diablo knew that if he entered the bar with Curio in it, he would have the chance of being ambushed. He could see Raeka's blood and it made something snap within him.
Diablo's eyes burned as he lost all sense of his surroundings. His eyes held a burning hatred for Curio, and now he would have his revenge for all that Curio wronged. He stopped in the doorway and he then said, his voice spewing out venomous words, "So you finally made it here you b*****d, and all it took was your sword. If only I knew that is what it took to get you out of hiding. To think you would fear your younger brother so." His hand moved to the hilt of his blade.
His face grew a evil smirk as he then said, "You see this? The blade you taunted me about for so long that I would not be able to master, this shall be your demise. The honor of our parents I hold here and will regain with your death" He drew theblade slowly out of its sheath, the metal grinding on metal made a eerie sound as it came out.
He then said, "Leave the girl alone and take up your blade and we shall see who is mightier, So stand and deliver..." His eyes then grew almost demonic as his voice raised. "...COWARD!" A black aura surriounded him and jutted out, it looked like fire and not a dark aura, and as his voice sounded its last word the bar shook slightly.

Sachi watched Diablo run off, but quickly returned her attention to Raine when she heard hesitant talking. Blinking, her eyes landed on Raine's face and she leaned forward a bit to hear her. The person lying on the floor seemed out of breath, as if she'd just run ten miles or something of the sort. Sachi's hand patted Raine's arm gently, "Don't tire yourself out..." she murmured softly, so she could still hear what she was saying. The last word that Raine said was cut off as she went unconcious, but she immediately knew who it was she was talking about. Curio, of course. Don't worry Raine...he wouldn't come after me. Not that I could do him any good anyways. She thought, gratefully.
Sachi sighed softly, though it wasn't one of resentment or anything. It was more of a "pull yourself together" sigh. Her eyes quickly closed and a dark purple and black aura enclosed around Raine, slowly and gently lifting her off the ground. She could hear Diablo talking, then jumped slightly, almost losing her concentration. A quick and soft breath helped her regain balance and she carefully and silent walked back into the darkness of the forest, though this time the dark and lush plants were more comforting. It wouldn't be wise to just sit there in the middle of the road...It's probably more safe in here. I'm not giving up that easily. The girl thought defiantly as she gave a small scoff.
The dark aura was descending, the subject inside with it. A soft soft could be heard in the silence as Raine settled on a pile of leaves. Sachi returned to her side, gently lifting her arms to check for any serious injuries. Raine seemed a lot more frail than the last Sachi had saw her, but she obviously wasn't unconcious that time. "Hang in there Raine..." she spoke into the silence. Glancing forward, she could see daylight seeping in, but it was dim telling her that they were a safe distance from the bar. Although she tried her hardest to keep her attention on Raine, she couldn't help but wonder what was happening. Disturbing thoughts entered her mind, but she brushed the air as if the air were the thoughts themselves. She didn't dare telepathically speak with either Diablo, Raeka, or even Rikku in case they lost their concentration while fighting Curio.

Rikku backed away slowly. With every step she took back, Curio took one forward. She stopped when she hit the table directly behind her. Now she had no where to go (not that she had many options to begin with). Curio did not speak. He just walked. His paces were stopped when a familiar voice was heard from behind.
Diablo had entered the bar. He seemed more then enraged. It seemed that it was more then just Curios' mere prescense here. Perhaps it was his bleeding nephew that made him finally snap.
Curio turned around slowly. His face was only half visible, as he only turned half way, and the sun had sunk below the trees outside. You didn't need light to see the murderous gaze present, as his eyes glowed a chilling crimson colour in the darkness of the bar. What was not there previously, was now circulating the room. A dark aura, probably darker then Diablos' was becoming appearent. It was so erie, it sent chills down Rikkus' spine. The bar was beginning to dissapate into darkness. Even outside, a black fog was shrouding around.
"Heh heh heh..." A sinister laugh escaped the dark elfs lips. With his gaze stilll on his brother, Curio placed his weapon into his left hand. Rikku noticed this gesture. This was something she feared. Even though he fought most of the time with his right, his good hand was his left. It seemed to eminate the most with dark aura. A swift pain became appearent in her throat. She also noticed that she couldn't breathe.
Looking down, she realised that Curios' hand was covering her throat. When did that happen? How didn't she notice his movements? Was he really that fast? "If you so much as blink, I'll snap the girls neck," he warned. Fear instantly hit Rikku. She knew he was capable of it, and after watching him kill his own son, she did not doubt in anyway that he wouldn't hesitate to kill her too.
A few seconds had gone by, and Curio acted. His grip on Rikkus' neck had been removed. He turned quickly. Bringing up his left hand, his blade became charged with a strange black electric current. It wasn't in his grip for too long, as he threw it in the direction of his brother. He then grabbed Rikkus' left arm, plopped her over his left shoulder, and made his way out the door. He had passed Diablo, just as his weapon was approximately 2 feet from where it left his hand.
((Sorry Travis, I'm NPCing you again))
Diablo had dodged the blade, and Curio, now quite a few yards away from the bar, stopped, and turned slightly, to catch his weapon as it flew through the air. Leaving not a seconds pause, he placed it in it's sheath, which was now attached to his waist, and continued to speed down the path. Passing Sachi and Raine, he didn't even stop. He was trying to escape.

Diablo stood in the door way, his anger was boiling over. The sight of his brother infront of him was enough to make him want to kill him where he stood, but he was too close to Rikku. He then looked at her, something was not right Curio would never make a head to head threat of a fight without a way out of it easily. As this thought went through his mind, Curio made his move..
As Curio's hand went near Rikku it became apparent as to what Curio's plan had been.He then let his voice ring out with pure venom, "Still a coward I see.." His eye twitched a bit in anger as he moved into a fighting stance, "Move and you kill her? If I do not move, you will kill her. So either way I lose."
He felt there was going to be some trick as Curio would not dare fight him man to man, Curio was too much of a coward. He then saw Curio's blade approach him after being charged and he leaped to the side and rolled back to his feet in a fighting stance but saw Curio already going out the door. He screamed, "Get back here coward!" As he dived through the window shattering it and busting the boards away as he landed on the ground he looked at Curio and yelled after his fleeing brother, "Damn you, you are only prolonging your death!"
He stared into the distance angrily and slowly regaining his sense of himself, he needed to go look after Raeka. He turned around and walked towards the door and glanced down at the gruesome sight. He then kneeled over the youth as he sighed knowing this would not be able to be healed. He then mentally transmitted to Sachi, 'Bring Raine here so I can look after her, that is if you can.'

Curio had made it a fair enough distance from the bar that he pretty much home free. Diablo had given up on the chase, Raeka was as good as dead, Raine was in no condition to fight, and Rikku was held captive and appearently unnconcious aswell. And then there was that strange girl that Curio noticed as he passed by her and Raine. She didn't seem to be an immediate threat, so he left her alone.
Curios' feet came to stop. He heard a strange noise in the wind. It resembled the sound of metal swooshing about in the air. His eyes shifted. First looking to his right. Then to the left. Then turning slightly, and looking behind. It sounded as though it was coming from all around.
Suddenly, a large weapon cut through the tree's from behind. Spinning violently, the large blade flew into Curios' direction. He turned in time to see it coming, and to jump up out of it's way. His left leg had pushed him into an upward direction, so that the sword flew just under him.
A cloaked figure had appeared on the ground, just as the giant weapon passed. It jumped up after the elf, and took a swing with it's right hand, which was appearantly covered with a think slab of ice. Curio blocked with his left, causing the block to shatter into tiny shards of ice.
Using his right hand, Curio grabbed Rikku by the collar of her coat. He then thew her skyward. Now he had nothing holding him back. By this time, his attackers arm had retracted, giving him a slight opening. Curio placed his hand on the hilt of his sword, and quickly jerked it out. All in the same motion, he aimed the edge toward his attacker.
The figure seemed to have the ability to form ice from thin air. He moved his arms, so that they covered his face. A thick layer of ice had formed infront of him, creating a shield. Curios' blade cut right through it, like a hot knife through butter. It seemed to be enough to block the blade from actually hitting him, but he would not escape a blow from the elf for too long.
Just as the cloaked figure had moved his arms to see, Curio had swung his free hand directly at his face. His fist hit the foe directly on the right cheek. All this occured while they were both still airborne. The cloaked stranger flew backward, rotating clockwise in the air, as he fell the the ground.
Curio placed his sword back into it's sheath, as his feet met with the ground again. He lifted his left arm into the air, and caught the unnconcious girl as she fell back to him. The cloaked individual flipped himself around before he hit the ground, and landed in a slight crouched position. The hood that covered his face had fallen, but he was looking down, so that his features could not be seen.
"You're pretty good for someone so young," Curio taunted. He too was telepathic, so the feeling of youth eminated of the lad was quite evident to him. "So. We have a new player on the field....And what, pray tell, is your name, little boy?"
The young male just chuckled. "I am a friend of your enemies. An ex-assassin. And the son of someone you once murdered." He looked up. A smirk wide across his face. "My name is Joseph Katsuya, and I swore many years ago that I would see the day you fall."
Curio smiled. "Katsuya, huh?" Remembering the girl that lay on his left shoulder, a funny thought occured to him. I wonder if he knows that you, my dear, are his sister..."

The small creak of a foot step could be heard from the brush. A young girl, whom looked in her late teen's stepped in the door frame, a crystal bow in hand and aimed at the man's back with a small white glow from the tip. Her forest green eyes gazed at the man's back without blinking, keeping perfectly still and concentrated. The creak of the arrow was the only signal that the man would have that she was there besides the small whimpers from behind her.
She wore a elegant kimono dress with gold sidings and designs on the front and back; the rest, the same green as her eyes. Her raven black hair which was down to her knee's flew to one side where a small child had held of it as if death would consume him if he let go. It was he whom had whimpered.
His blue eyes were wide with fear and sadness as he hid behind his 'Onee-chan's' hair. Kagome looked straight at the back of Joseph's opponent, not releasing unless told to do so or if she had to. She had a bad feeling about this man that held a girl over his shoulder and she didn't want to take the chance of him whiping the girl infront of him as a sheild should she let the arrow fly.
'Kuso.' Kagome cursed in her head, her grip slightly tightening on the bow as she looked over at Joseph. She knew that if this guy could dodge Joseph's attack, he was no mere weakling of an enemy. Keeping this in mind, she noted the other people around her, and though they were quite far off, though her eyes never left the man's back. She could feel aura's and every one near the brush seemed to have a strong spirit.
'Hopefully they are on our side.' Kagome thought again. She didn't want to have to take her eyes off the man and dodge an attack from behind or the sides should the others catch up with them. Again, the bow creaked as Kagome pulled the string back harder, if at all possible, just wishing she could shoot and end this frustration.

Sachi sighed in the silence of the pristine forest. It didn't seem as frightening as it had when she first came through it; the darkness now comforted her as it grew dimmer. Maybe her eyes were playing tricks on her and she was just getting a bit weary. Either way, she knew she had a responsibilty of taking care of Raine who laid beside her on a pile of leaves. The concious girl's ears strained to hear the distant conversation taking place in the bar, but the silence roared so loudly she couldn't concentrate.
"Once its safe enough, we'll go back Raine. You'll probably want to know what went on once you wake up, knowing you," the girl chuckled softly, but quickly regained a serious attitude. "But I can't really give you that information so we'll just have to ask Diablo, Rikku, or Raeka..." Sachi spoke defiantly out loud, though she knew no one was listnening. It was comforting, but it left an empty hole in her heart thinking about what might be happening. She was in a battle with her ownself, restraining herself from going to help Raeka.
Besides the slight ruffle of the leaves in the wind and mockingly cheerful chirping of the birds, absolute quiet descended upon the lush forest. So much that Sachi jumped up to her feet and tensed at the sound at Diablo's voice in her head. Sighing, she spoke back to him in her mind clearly. 'Don't scare me like that....its too quiet for its own good here..' As she spoke mentally to him, her eyes fluttered closed and Raine was once again enclosed in a black and purple aura. 'Of course I can," she thought defiantly, 'I'll come as quick as I can...' Something in Diablo's voice worried her; in a short amount of time, tragic things had happened already. She shuddered slightly, but rid her mind of those thoughts.
Her feet made soft sounds that sounded like lightning as she stepped gingerly through the forest. Sachi hadn't even realized that Curio had passed by her and Raine. Concentration had overcome her and Curio was probably skilled enough to dart around like a snake silently. Before long, Sachi and a floating Raine reached the bar which looked horrible compared to the last time she'd seen it.
"Diablo? Raeka?" she murmured softly into the dusty air. Raine had gently settled on a couple chairs that assembled beside each other. "Is anyone here?" she felt slightly uneasy, but went further inside anyways.

Be careful, Kagome. You don't want to hit the girl.
The sun had almost set. Though the darkness was creeping closer, the moon lit up the sky enough so that the two fighters could be seen. Even if the moon weren't present in the sky, both fighters became very apparent in the darkness.
Both were surrounded by a firey glow. Josephs' red arua. Curios' purple arua. Both glowed in a vibrant light. Neither moved. They just stared eachother down. Joseph heard that if you looked the man straight in the eyes, you would be sticken with fear. So Joseph avoided eye contact with the elf.
Staring at his neck, the red glow eminating from his eyes seemed almost inviting. Though Joseph tryed to fight it, he couldn't help but look up. The second his eyes looked into the deep red glare, his heart stopped. Though he didn't feel too scared, it was almost as if his body froze. He looked down at his hand, which lay flat on the ground. Why can't I move...?
When he looked up, that's when fear struck him. Curio had completely vanished. Rikku lay on the ground where he once stood. Suddenly, he stood up. "What...?" Turning around, he then began to walk towards his weapon, which had been lodged into a tree from the throw. "No, wait! What?" Grasping the hilt of the sword, he gave it a nice tug. "What's going on here?" He turned his head looking around. His body turned again. He began to slowly walk towards Rikku. "Why can't I...? Oh no..."
He remembered Diablo telling him vast stories about his brother. One such story was about Curios' mind control. He remembered the story about how Curio forced an entire opposing army against itself. It didn't take much to realise what Curio had planned. He was controlling Joseph to kill the girl.
"Kagome! Get the girl, quickly! Get her, and get away!" he shouted, as he stopped right in front of Rikku. Placing both hands on the hilt of his weapon, Joseph began to lift his weapon above his head. Was it too late?

Diablo looked at Sachi as she entered the bar, he had been kneeling by the unconsious Raeka who was on a loosing battle with death as he shook his head and felt troubled emotionally. He then muttered to Raeka, "I shall take her under my wing and train her in your place. I shall do as I can with her, and I shall keep Raine protected."
His eyes then turned back to Sachi as he said, "Wait with Raine, and do not venture this way untill I return, only come if you have no other choice." He stood up as he then said, "Keep an eye on Raeka." He then grasped the sheath of his blade and leaned it upon his shoulder. He then grinned and said to himself. "Its hunting time."
He then dashed past Sachi and out of the door way, he then caught the familiar aura as he stopped mid way to it and tilted his head. So he returned finally after dissappearing. He then felt Joseph's mind connect with his, and then he caught what happened. Diablo was needed, and this girl who was with Joseph seemed a bit pre-occupied with something else. He then made his way and came just in time.
As Diablo dived, the sheath of his weapon fell away from his blade as he whipped it around and brought it in the way of the blade that was on its way down to crash into the girl's defenceless body. The resounding shockwaves of the swords and their collision were astounding, it caused Diablo to even mis-step after the shockwaves ended, but it did not keep Diablo from protecting Rikku. He then glared at Joseph and said, "Curio you coward, if you wish for blood, get it on your own hands for once, and not the hands of others."
It pained Diablo as he moved his blade up and skillfully disarmed Joseph, without harming him. His hand came to the crock of Joseph's neck and struck it upon a pressure point rendering the youth unconsious. This would sever the connection Curio had made. But now it also made it possible for Diablo to protect both Rikku and Joseph now, and Curio would not have the courage to return to sight with him around them.
Diablo's eyes came to the blade that Joseph had held, he stared slightly impressed at it, and yet also a bit crest fallen at the blade he saw, it was the one he had given Joseph when he started his training. Now it sat there sunken down to the mid-way point of the blade and several devistating cracks and missing chunks of metal. He knew the sword was not beyond repair, but only a small group of people would be able to repair the metal or even not distrupt the enchantments upon the blade.
He looked at the girl who held the bow and said, "I have not harmed him." He said it almost as if he was trying to convince himself. He then gently kneeled down and picked up Rikku over his shoulder as he glanced about for any signs of Curio as he then glanced down at Joseph and then asked her, "Would you like to join us? I am sure you would like to know what is going on."

Kagome hadn't had the time to even blink before the man had saved the girl and hit Joseph behind the head. She blinked before looking at the man, her bow still in hand and pulled back. For a moment, she stood there, not knowing whether she was safe or not.
Yet when he explained that he hadn't hurt Joseph, Kagome dropped the bow and ran over to Joseph, craddling his head with her hands to make sure he was okay. Just as the man had said, he had only knocked him out. She let out a sigh of relief as she slowly, carefully picked him up on her back with some difficulty. She turned back to Diablo and nodded.
"Yes...that would be nice...I'll be able to get him awake then too." She said smiling. For one whom just met her, Kagome seemed pretty friendly to anyone who was not a threat or terrible enemy; yet, they weren't far off either. Turning to the shattered blade, she had no idea how she could pick that up, let alone all the peices with Joseph on her back. She abandoned the thought then however.
A small squeak caught her attention. The boy, Akira, was shaking in the corner of the brush, holding Kagome's fallen bow and arrow, squeaking once or twice between frightened tears 'Onee-chan....ish...Joseph..so'k?' Though it was hard to make out through tears. Kagome walked over to the boy and nodded. "Hush..it's alright now...will you carry your sister's weapon's while she carries Joseph-sama?"
A small whimper of 'hai' was all she could get out of him. She smiled lovely at the young four year old whom latched on to her side immediently. Finally she turned her attention back to Diablo. "Okay...lead the way..."

Sachi whipped around at Diablo's voice but relaxed when she saw it was only him. Seeing who he was beside, her hand flew to her mouth as she stifled a gasp. "Raeka!" she murmured out, distressed. Walking shakily to her side, she found it hard to see her master almost dying. The girl winced, recalling all the lectures he had given her. Diablo had muttered something to him, something she couldn't catch in her turmoil and other emotions.
Her jade orbs stared back with his as she gave a slight nod. Her forehead was furrowed though, caused by her worry. "Don't worry about me or Raeka or Raine. We'll be fine," she spoke reassuringly, though not as confident as she would've liked to have been. A shudder ran down her spine as he almost seemed to draw pleasure from such a grave situation. 'Guys will be guys, ne?' she thought to herself, almost smiling as well. Shrugging it off quickly, she akwardly waved to him, innerly wishing him good luck. By the time he rushed out the door, Sachi had approached the window, watching him until his figure was a smudge in the distance.
"Now...to make this place as comfortable and secure as possible, right?" she sighed softly, looking towards Raine, then to Raeka. Being unconcious, they weren't the most livliest of company of course, but she'd have to bear with it. Closing her eyes, several boards attached to the doors and windows, though cracks allowed her to look through. Simple planks of rotting wood would be nothing compared to the power of Curio from what she had gathered; Sachi could even break through the boards in a matter of seconds. Even so, simple binding spells she had placed on them provided more security for her and her unconcious friends. "Sorry Raine, Raeka. This place doesn't have anything comfortable for you guys to rest on.." Her voice trailed off as her wide green eyes caught cushions that were supposed to cover the seats.
Her feet lead her over, silently stepping across the creaking boards. Levitating them, she placed them in a position far from the windows and doors, just out of her paranoia. Letting out a deep breath, she gently levitated Raine first on top of the plush cushions. She wasn't going to risk levitating both of them at one time, just in case something startled her and she dropped both of them. Soon Raeka laid beside Raine, both almost looking peaceful. Satisfied, the girl brushed her bangs back which were plastered to her forehead in the head that had followed the afternoon sunlight.

Josephs' eyes opened slowly. His eyes were different. A deep yellow colour, with retracted pupils. Much like that of a cat. He realised he was on the back of another. Shifting is eyes around, he tried to feel out everyone's aura. He recognized Kagome as a friend. There was that aura of a child. Harmless. A dark powerful aura became appearent to him.
He literally jumped off the angels back. He landed quite a distance away. The way he pushed away was probably enough to know the girl off balance, if not to the ground. He landed very low to the ground. His stance closely resembled a cat. His eyes shifted quickly. First to Kagome, then to Daiblo, then to an opening on the left.
He didn't waste anytime. He moved quickly, jumping into the forest on his left side. Moving quickly, he seemed like a blur. Though out of sight, his aura completely gave him away.
He decided to hide in a tree. It wasn't long before one made an attack to him. But not physically. Mentally. A strange voice rang into the boys mind. Kill them...
"What?"
Do it...
"Who are you?"
Kill them.
"Who are you?!"
Kill them now!
Joseph was loosing his anger. It seemed that whoever's voice it was that spoke to him, wanted that. He clenched his fists. One of them struck the thick branch which he sat on. A dark, deep blue flame began to burn over his right hand. Joseph stood up, and let out a loud cry, as if in pain. Turning around, he swung his arm horizontally, as his cutting something with a blade. That wasn't too far off of what he was doing. His aura cut through the tree he was standing on. And it didn't stop there. It cut through the next three trees. A 30 feet distance, in a 180 degree cut. A figure was seen jumping upwards, as all the dismembered tree tops fell to the ground. It landed on a severed tree, close to the end of Josephs' attack.
Curio smiled. "You're stronger then I thought you were."
Joseph smiled, and looked at him with his frightening yellow gaze. "Elf. You don't know the half of it."

Diablo ignored the girl an the child as he closed his eyes, his brother was good at masking his presance when he needed to. This would take a bit to find a way to find him. But then he glanced up. Something else had caught his attention as he felt a faint emission of power, it was nothing strong, but it was enough to catch his attention.
He looked towards the bar and blinked and then ralised it had been Sachi, he did not know what she was doing but it was nothing harmfull to either Raeka or Raine. He sent a small compassionate mental nudge type thing to her. He then glanced back up at Kagome and Joseph as he had just caught Joseph's frantic movements.
Diablo then picked up Curio's presance. He shifted into a fighting stance. His eyes scanned, he saw Joseph's wild attack and then Curio appearing as he plundged his hand into his jacket and whipped his hand out, in a flawless motion as he did so a kunai flew out of his hand and flew straight at Curio. The small blade struck him in the shoulder in a glancing blow.
It was not for a killing strike but more of a warning. The warning in the shot was to get Curio to notice that his little brother was still down there as he then said, "How about leaving the boy alone and finishing what you started with me you b*****d?" He jumped up into the trees and kneeled in his fighting stance, he was opposite of both of Curio and Joseph as he glanced at both, something in Joseph was not right, almost as if his darker half had taken over.
