The_Goddess_Kahla I chose Thane in my first play through of ME2. He was very romantic and deep. I loved that he called me "siha". He's a very sexy lizard man. For my second play through I went for Garrus, but I didn't like that he wasn't very into the idea of having sex with a human. He even said something along the lines of he wasn't going to pretend that he was attracted to humans. I just found it very lacking of romance. I then decided to just go for Jacob cause his character is pretty cute and he seemed to get pretty smitten with me. Of course I romanced Kelly as well so she'd take care of my fish XP I didn't know you were a member of this group sweatdrop I think Thane will end up dying but in the most badass way a soldier has ever died, like he'll get his own cutscene and Kolyat will be there (just read the Mass Effect 3 novel, you'll see what I mean.)

I got angry when my sister laughed at the romance of Tali, all cause she was an alien. So I told replied "Edward and Bella aren't any romantic whatsoever so STFU!" after that she shut up. But the subplot makes me ask "How far are you willing to go to be with someone you love?" and considering the close bond and the history between the two it's very touching. Jack (subject Zero) has the second best romance I mean Shepard is the only one person who would not take advantage of her, and to me brings the line "Love can warm even the coldest of hearts."

I chose Tali i was trying to get in her environmental suit since the first one xd i was so pissed when it did'nt happen in the first game, i was even more pissed when you did'nt get to see her face in the second game!
edit:to all you Kaiden fan girls i sacrificed him in the first game just because i wanted to keep Ash even though i ended up romancing Liara sweatdrop

He even said something along the lines of he wasn't going to pretend that he was attracted to humans. Really? 'Cause when I went for Garrus, he seemed rather open to it. Obviously, I went for Garrus. Well, originally, I romance Kaiden in the first game, but I would have preferred Garrus. I'm so hoping that the consequences of romancing both end up with the two of them fighting in the third game. The Liara and Ash/Kaiden love triangle gets resolved rather gently in the first game. (Just watched a video of it.) But seriously! Garrus was the most adorably nervous thing ever. I about died laughing when he said "You know me, I always like to savor the last shot before popping the heat sync." (During the conversation of when they should "get down to business" and they should wait for the calm just before the storm.) FemShep just gives him a smirky stare, while I'm rolling, and Garrus replies "Wait, that metaphor just went somewhere horrible." OMG, I love you Garrus. He says silly things like that a few times. I just... I hope Shepard gets to LOVE a character in the last game. So many of the romances feel more like they're just comforting each other before they run off to possibly die. I would love to see the couple (no matter the couple) admit feelings besides just wanting to "blow off some steam".

Miranda FTW say what you will about Miranda but she's got herself together, She's not a Xenophobic *Cough Ashley* Ah Ash why didn't you come back to the team on Horizon? I mean Tali had more of reason NOT to go with Shep on the basis that she doesn't trust Cerberus and still came back,Overall if she really wanted to be with Shep she would have gone with him that would have said ''I am willing to put aside everything for you no matter what.'' if that happened I would have probably stayed with Ashely. *Sorry got off topic there* Miranda has her flaws too she's cold, borderline obsessive when it comes to her work which an optimist would call ''Dedicated'' and she hides her insecurities with a tough exterior but with patience theres a caring person under there. But back to the ''put aside everything topic'' After romancing Miranda, if you take her into the final boss fight against the Human Reaper, she will disobey the Illusive Man's orders to stop Shepard *if you decide to blow up the base* and quit Cerberus and this surprised me big time because she was the most loyal Cerberus Operative PERIOD! So with that being said I think Miranda is the best choice for Shep due to the fact that ''Love means to Sacrafice everything that you are and to put that one person above yourself.''

Aw... That makes me feel sad that it means Garrus and Tali aren't as important, even though we'll get to see their home-worlds.

True and True but for me I would choose Miranda over Ashley not just because the talented Yvvone Strahonski is the face and the voice of Miranda but the simple fact is she is a perfect match for shepard on almost every level their skills, intelligence, all on par with each other, not to mention the fact that she's able to hold herself together better than Ashley. For your that chose Tali I can see why because of her character plus it speaks a good bit about your own character that you didn't need to see what was underneath the mask to fall for Tali

Actually, I think she'll tell TIM to piss off as long as she's in your team and you decide to blow up the base. (happens with my FemShep whenever I have her with me)

Ah well I always romance her so didn't know what she would say and I didn't have her with me at the end with my femshep
I use Infiltrator for my main shep and Adept for my femshep

I'm one of a dying breed: Kaidan Alenko fans. Seriously, I can't think of cheating on him with my main Shep. I think it's because their interaction was the first time I saw a really mature relationship with no melodrama in a video game. Even Carth and Revan had melodramatic backstory stuff.
