Though Sho's bitter words stung, Myka had known better than to take it too much to heart. Listened to him as he continued his speaking before he waited for her response. A smile broke onto her face once more before she touched her fingers to her forehead in an amused manner. "Making you look like a fool was nice, but I really just wanted to make the both of you smile and forget about the day's previous ... happenings." she said. Locking her hands behind her back, Myka turned around and stared up at the sky. "Watching you and Ayame is like watching a stray black cat strut. Defiant, proud, but somehow cold and misleading. But ever comfortable in their own sense of normalcy. Seeing you two knocked off your balance was something I never wanted to see again." she replied, her smile becoming somewhat sad, and much more calm and serious. Myka sighed and let her tense shoulders relax before tilting her head back at Sho. "Come over." she said softly before she sat down on the cool grass.

(Sorry, short post. Family 'emergency', be right back!)
Sho hesitated for a moment before sitting down next to Myka, his eyes guarded. "I'm sorry about the way we treated you when we first met you." He said after a minute, looking back up at the sky. "I guess we were a bit of @$$holes. I didn't want to be here though...not that that's much of an excuse." Sho smiled grimly and ran a hand through his hair, then frown slightly, and turned to face Myka. "Wait, what do you mean 'you two knocked off your balance is something I never want to see again'?"

Myka shook her head, and in the process sent a few hairs flying around her face. She curled one of the wayward curls behind her ear, a smile still on her face. "Don't think anything of it." she replied softly. When Sho asked her a question, Myka gathered up her legs and knees and hugged them to her chest before looking back up at all the stars. She could see Orion, the Scorpion, Ursa Major, and Ursa Minor, and every other constellation she could identify. "Ayame just looked so unattatched and for a minute, I was scared. And then you... Just detatched and cold and broken because of a ... stupid mistake." she murmured, her words still somehow clear. "I resolved to never see anyone so close to me fall so quickly since being in my presence. To be honest, I blame that on myself. " she replied, burying her chin into her knees. In all honesty, Myka did blame herself for the stray cat strut going gone. In Ayame it tore at her, at Sho it ripped her apart. To know that she had a hand in the cause that had sent to such wonderful and magnificent people made Myka shudder in guilt and anger.

Sho also looked guilty, and quickly looked back up at the sky-strewn sky. "It wasn't you, so stop blaming yourself. It was all of us I think. Ayame, myself and you. But mostly myself." Sho made a face. "D@mn, I don't know. But, you should try to forget it. We're all friend now, right?" The last part came out sarcastically. "We were all just feeling awkward, stupid, angsty, teenager-ish and out of place. Sh*t just happens sometimes." Sho shrugged. "So I think you should just let it go. No one is blaming you." He stood up, and held out a hand for her. "I'm heading back to the cabin? You?"

Myka blinked, nibbling her lip gently. "Alright then." she mumbled. She looked back up at Sho as he stood, despite the fact that her previous feelings hadn't changed whatsoever. She honestly didn't want to go, but she decided that she had to have gotten a good night of sleep. "Yeah." she replied, taking his hand and standing up. She didn't take her hand out of his, and only kept her hand locked gently in his, hoping that he wouldn't think anything of it. Besides, the cool palm of Sho's hand felt good against the still warmth of hers.

Sho didn't say anything about it, just smiled slightly. "Thanks for explaining." He said softly after a minute. "I guess now I have to forgive you for putting all that crap on me. So...you might be forgiven, but if I were you, I wouldn't do anything for the next couple days, just to play it safe." Sho turned to Myka, face unreadable, and then smiled slightly before continuing to walk back to the cabin.

Myka could only smile softly as she listened to Sho. 'Yeah, yeah. I'm sure I could make it up to you somehow." she said. In a matter of moments, she found herself fairly bold before she lifted herself to her toes and kissed Sho lightly on the cheek. So lightly, it was almost as if she had never done anything. Only the moving of her hair and the shifting of her body would give anyone else any indication that she had got to her toes for some reason. "Let's get back. I need my rest if I'm going to put Aya through hell tomorrow." she said softly, soon finding her cheeks growing something pink. She sped up just a bit to reach the cabin.

Sho stopped walking to gape at her, not unlike what had happened after she had lied, and said that guys in make-up turned her on. "Girls." He thought darkly. "What is with them? Why do they feel this need to make everything so confusing?" Sighing, he spend up so that he could catch up with Myka before she got to the cabin, now wishing he'd worn a shirt. "Hey, hold on." He said, gently placing a hard on her arm, hoping she'd turn to face him. "Myka...I..."

Myka stopped and turned her head back, a smile half on her face. "Don't think anything of it. Just making up for all that 'crap', remember?" she asked, her half smile still alight on her face. She didn't want to admit that she liked him, but she figured that because he had completly dismissed the topic fully, Myka thought the subject was over.

Sho sighed, and nodded. Right now, he was too tired to even try and sort out his feelings for Myka. "Of course." He said, smiling tiredly as he continued towards the cabin. "Just...making up for all that crap." However, try as he might, Sho couldn't stop himself from saying the next part, try as he might. "That just seemed like such a small way to make up for it though. Next time, you might want to try a little harder." "Oh, great, just great." He thought, annoyed with himself. "Where the hell is my filter? Way to go Sho, that was just the thing to say." Shaking his head, he turned to Myka, facing her without looking at her. "Just forget that last comment." He muttered. "I'm tired and you're tired, so we should just hurry up, and head back to the cabin." He didn't mention that when you're 'tired', sometimes you do things you might not be willing to do others. Or even say otherwise.

Myka only smiled back at Sho before folding her arms and bumping into himplayfully. Myka folded her arms before she ran back to pick up her jeans before she walked back over to Sho, still behind him. Hand on his shoulder, she got on her toes her breath sure to be tickling his ear warmly. "Though readiness is a turn on, next time, at least try not to sound so eager." she said softly before he finished. She curved around him quickly and listened to him continue speaking. Myka nodded to the rest of his speaking. "Yeah. Let's get back." she added, a smile still playing on her face, fully aware that Sho couldn't see it with her back to him.

"Am I that easy to read?" Sho asked, his voice low, thankful that Myka was in front of him. "Or over the years have you just gotten good at reading people's emotions?" He shivered slightly. The temperature had become much cooler than it had been during the day, and the slight breeze wasn't helping out. "Should have worn a shirt." Sho thought, though it was hard to be upset over something stupid like that at a time like this. "What the hell was I thinking?"

Myka only laughed. It was a bell like sound that almost echoed off the trees and creek that she had so recently left behind. "No. You're really just that easy to ready." she chirped, tilting her head back towards him. A smile was alight on Myka's face as she skipped off into the darkness, back towards the cabin.

Myka and Arson reached the Creek in record time before Arson came to a strong stop. Then using the fact that his arms were already giving her support, Myka wriggled around until he was holding her feet behind her back. She jumped up, curled her body and did a somersault in mid air before landing back on her feet. She turned back to face Sho and Ayame, all traces of their previous fun and games gone from her eyes. Now it was time to get serious, and when Myka got serious, you knew it on contact. Sensing that this was that time, Arson backed up carefully and dropped their two shirts just beside a tree and sat down in the shade of it.

Ayame arrived at the creek first, her face tense and drawn. She didn't look worried exactly, she just looked cautious. "I should race Arson sometime." She thought, bending down to untie her scuffed black Converse. "It would be nice to have someone to run with." Biting her lip, Ayame pulled her hair back into a loose bun, and walked towards Myka, ending up a few feet away from her. "Breathe in, breathe out." She tried to reminded herself, taking a deep breath, and struggling to control herself. "It's okay." Ayame gave Myka a feeble smile, but quickly let it drop. No point in pretending she wasn't nervous. After all, this was what she wanted, right? She couldn't just chicken out now. She let out the deep breath she had been holding, and the creek rippled slightly, as if disturbed by an unseen wind.
Several seconds later Sho appeared, slightly unnerved by the tense silence that had fallen over the group. Not wanting to break the silence by saying anything, Sho nodded to Myka and Ayame, and went to go sit in the shade with Arson. "This should be interesting." He thought dryly, sitting down on the ground. "Just so long as Ayame doesn't loose her temper, and Myka doesn't go too hard on her. Yeah...this'll be...interesting." Sho couldn't help but smirk slightly, though he quickly rearranged his features into a mask of cool indifference. Right now was not the time to joke around.
