I consider the Westboro Baptist Church terrorists... They might not be violent, but their protesting has brought about many harsh feelings. They are extremists and should be tossed in jail for a little while. Yea, they haven't broken any laws. Yet. But I see it comming.

I'm sorry, but they should not be allowed to. They have hurt so many families. Sons have died in war and they show up saying "The war is because of the gays!" Um.... No. Go away.

If we get that freedom, so do they. We don't get to take it away just because we don't like what they say.
And besides that, what exactly do you think throwing them in jail will do?

I believe that just because there ARE terrorists that happens to be Muslim, don't blame it on ALL Muslims.

I know that not ALL Americans are evil. Some may be are, but I know that mostly there are not.

I don't think that Westboro's protesting activities should be taken away, but I do think there should be stricter guidelines as to where they are allowed to picket.

I mean, there are places that the media is not allowed to go, and there are places that free speech just doesn't matter, such as places where people are grieving.

I think America should barge in on their services and picket them one Sunday.

No one should threaten you as we are suppose to be able to express our opinons. I'm a retired employee of the state of michigan and I recall a time in 1978 when we had to open up money and food stamps cases based on what was presented to us by a paticular group of people (not yet american citizens). As verification we took their the green cards and their word. Their aged parents were able to received social security benifits, without any work history, while our U.S. citizens had to fight for benifits, after having work history and obtaining qualified age. As time passed this paticular group of people began to manage and own all the gas stations and food chains throughtout Detroit and the surrounding metropolitan areas. It would be hard for one to function without acess to food to eat and gas for mobility. I could go on and on, but to cut it short we are concerned about terrorist and war; oppostion and war come in many forms. Our freedom of religion practices and public opinion has deminished, while the forieners are allow more freedoms. The news of a temple going up in the place where the TWIN TOWERS use to stand, than sent a clear message to me. If anyone has the time read the book of HABUKKUK especially the 1st chapter. Its says a lot. When I think about the GREAT HARLOT mentioned in the bible, for some reason I think about the U.S. We seemed to have sold out to everyone and all types of pagan gods have enter in to her (the U.S.). One can get a ticket for noise pollution, however throughout michigan you can hear the bells calling some to prayer for certain religions, it seem that money and politics can change the laws. But I do fell some confort in the words that he will come to set the captives free and he will never leave me nor forsake me. The internal war in our country seems to be far from over with.
