The 2009 show was also my first year of marching band, we did Star Trek, and it was super awesome with costumes and dancing on the field. 2010 show is The Mask of Zorro(:

Music from Avatar is what we are doing so, one of the colorgaurd said no i refuse to be dyed blue ok ill do sparkles the black stripe across the eyes becoming a highlighter but no i will not be blue lol

Life's not a fairytale... My school is doing a Michael Jackson theme ^^ Someone mentioned something about us doing all back marching >.> Help it come true with donations?

My school is doing British Invasion, because we were invited to march in the London New Year's Parade next year. Otherwise it was going to be Wicked.

We're doing "A Journey Through Sound." It sounds pretty interesting. A lot of different pieces with articulation, tone, dynamics and such.

I want to do journey,a s do about half the band. (you can't find one person in our band without at least one Journey CD) As for ours, we are supposed to find out this week. the torture is killing me. He claims he didn't have it compeltely chosen. He had it narrowed down. He gave us a clue though. Its going to be rock. He said one option had some jazz in it. I'm kind of iffy on jazz. I've never been a fan of jazz clarinet. And all the jazz shows I have seen(a grand total of 2) sucked.

the Moulin Rouge idea would have been awesome. My band's '09 closer was El Tango de Roxanne. It was AMAZING. It helped make a great freshman year for me. Too bad you guy's aren't doing it :/ This year my band is becoming more "professional" that's just my band director's code for "we are losing all the really good people so we're going to make it easier." It's going to be more jazz stuff. Although Stan Muncy wites our front ensemble stuff. Since I'm in pit, I'm excited because he's saying that he's writing the hardest stuff he as ever written for our pit, and he's wrote some crazy stuff already. I can't wait! our first camp is in June and then we have 2 in July and 1 in August biggrin I'm soooo excited!!!

We got a new director this year, and he's not into corps as much as out last two directors. sad It's depressing, but oh well.
We're doing a latin/jazz Chuck Mangione show. (Children of Sanchez, probably Land of Make Believe, etc.")
Very unoriginal and overdone, but eehh whatever.

our band is doing "TIME" it sounds really lame, but the show my freshman year was "spellbound, the magic is back" and it was EPIC!!!! last year we did West Side Story (aka, the worst show EVER!!!!) this year we were REALLY pulling for a starwars show, but my preggo band director refused :/ oh well, maybe time won't be as dumb as it sounds.
