The Dungeon Master All Knowing | All Powerful | Really Annoying at Times...
Placing your kunai into the small crack, you are able to get it just barely far enough in to be able to wedge the tile up. However, as you attempt to pry the tile up, it turns out, the tile is VERY heavy, and you can only manage to pry it up just enough for a pair of hands to reach under and lift the tile up the rest of the way. From the strain simply holding the tile up via the wedging method, you don't think you could hold the tile this way for very long at all.

Havik:Sand Genin:Ninjutsu Class "Please respect my village, or I will kill you." Seven Tailed Host As Havik pried the tile up he noticed its weight and wouldn't be able to do this alone. He wedged the tile in place and called to Koi saying "Come help me with this can't lift it alone." He waited for Koi holding the tile in place and letting loose a few grunts as he did it.

Koi smiled as he walked over the rough surfaces towards the tile. After inspecting the tile's properties, Koi decided it was safe, so he grabbed on to it. Alone he was able to pull the large slab out and hold it upwards. However, very quickly he would fall into a crouch position, distributing the weight. Being a Kenjutsu user as well as Ninjutsu gave him the muscles needed to carry the slab for a short period of time. It was actually thanks to Senji, as Senji made Koi carry around fifty pound weights on his wrists and ankles. Koi was also looking in to getting finger weights, and a waist weight. He then set down the slab gently, and looked at the hole. "Now what, Havik-sama?"

Outou and Havik will have a chance to laugh hilariously at Koi as he tries to lift and support the weight of the tile above his head. The sudden surge of adrenaline in lifting the tile quickly faded as Koi's strength failed him, causing him to fall backwards, dropping the tile heavily against the ground as he crashed into the multiple raised convex surface hard. (This entails much pain...)
After everyone is done watching Koi fall, looking down into the space where the tile was, you see that it only depresses down about 3 inches, where, in the center of the space, you see a hole with a dim green light shooting up out of it. On closer examination, you realize that it looks like a keyhole of some kind and that the shape of the hole is roughly that of a kunai.

Havik:Sand Genin:Ninjutsu Class "Please respect my village, or I will kill you." Seven Tailed Host "Are you done trying to do everything yourself yet?" Havik said this as he picked up his staff and Kunai. " We need to work together on this, if we don't you wont go any further in the exams, that mean you wont gain much knowledge from this." As Havik spoke he walked over to Koi and placing the kunai to his side and held out his hand wanting to help his team mate up to show a sign of respect and team effort.

(I get that this is the exams, but in no way did I say it was above my head. Who lifts things above their heads? I always keep it near my center... makes sense. And I don't think your allowed to say what I do, or else that would be god modding, whether you control the exams or not.)
Koi wondered at how it would fall on him, after he had clearly placed it on the ground. Whatever. He grabbed his team mates hand, and got up. He shook his head as he held his hand out. "Then go ahead and do what you must." He said pointing at the green light.

Seven Tailed Host Havik helped his team mate to his feet, he was sure Koi could have gotton up on his own however he wanted to make the gesture hopefully furthering their comroderie so that they could complete this portion of the exams. He then examed the green light and said to Outou "You should have better perception than the two of us, cn you tell if this is a trap?"

Outou Kurama 美しい花の奇術師 Illusionist of Beautiful Blossoms | Two Hearts | Genjutsu Master | Spider Summoner | Bloody Mist | Kurama Clan Head xxxxxxxxxxOutou walked over to the revealed discovery and knelt down onto her good knee, pink eyes pearing at the green light before lifting a hand above it, eyes closed. Slowly, her hand lowered towards the green light until it was touching the ground around it. "No," Outou spoke, hand retreating. "I can't be sure. It triggers something. But what is unknown to me." The Kurama clan head confessed, sword and its chains resting quietly on the ground.

Koi shook his head in disapproval. Now that there was something potentially dangerous, it was Koi who had to do it. He walked towards the green light and smiled. He took out a kunai and then stopped. "What if the space closes in on my arm and destroys it? I've seen it in a movie..." He said. Then with precision aiming, he threw the kunai from a short distance. The kunai entered the hole far enough to activate what ever was going to happen.
(Ever see Subterano? It's about these kids who get stuck in a game, but the game turns real and the game has a goal. Kill all players. So there is a group of kids and some adults. Only three people make it out alive. One way to get past one part is to open the door by prompting a command. Only way to prompt the command is plopping your head in the little hole. That hole then cuts your head off, but you wouldn't really know that.)

Dead Temptations (I get that this is the exams, but in no way did I say it was above my head. Who lifts things above their heads? I always keep it near my center... makes sense. And I don't think your allowed to say what I do, or else that would be god modding, whether you control the exams or not.) Must you really be so sensitive about a possibility of "god-modding" within a test I created which requires me to determine what and what doesn't happen to people? Of course I'm going to be god-modding a little bit, but I've never tried to TELL someone what they've done... only what happens to them when they try to do something.
I misinterpreted what you did, because you said you lifted it "upwards", (whatever that means). If you wanted me to think you lifted it with/at your center, then you should say that you lifted it with/at your center. So far, every other person has said they "attempted" to move the tile and allowed the DM to decide whether or not they could. I'm sorry for misinterpreting what you wrote, but do you think you could cut me a little slack? I'm DMing 7 different teams at the same time...

The kunai fits perfectly into the slot and completely stops the light from shining through from the bottom. However, as you try to twist the kunai, you find that it won't twist at all, no matter how you turn it. After about 10 seconds, the kunai starts to shake, slowly at first, but then more and more violently as the seconds pass. without much warning, the kunai then shoots out of the hole, bouncing off the ceiling, ricocheting around the room several times before landing harmlessly on the floor with a few clangs and rattles.
Looking around, you find that none of the tiles that were hit had any scratches or scuff marks on their surfaces whatsoever, and the light is shining up through the kunai slot once again.
