New scent wafted past her nostrils as she eyed the male carefully now; the scent of anger heavy in the air despite how well he tried to compose himself. The tension and distinct omen in the air caused her spinal fur to raise in excitement while her pupils dialated. That might, that anger....all traces of power; the one which she's smelt for the first breif moments of their meeting. Her tongue trailed along her lips while he wasn't looking, tail tip flicking like she'd cornered a mouse.

....a tremendously desireable mouse.

"Then what are you afraid of? Your kind has forsake you, so why do you follow their rules and conduct like a lamb? They are lost because you have lost yourself!" Unphased by the staredown, she took a step forward and dug her claws into the dirt as her own eager enjoyment flowed through her senses. "What is holding you back, if you have nothing to fight for then hmmm? Whatever it is, they seem not worth the battle if you've been subdued to peace at the hands of the very creatures you were at war with...."

His brow furrowed further. This creature was not making any sense. Did she not understand him. He could care less about his kind. The very fact that he was passive infuriated them more than he could have ever done in the past. "What good will fighting get me. Why be vengeful over something I never cared about in the begin with. Use your head!" he snarled as he refrained from having a paw being hurled at the side of her face. Why did she bother him so much? Maybe her words were more truthful to what he believed in the past, and his past was still in him, despite his efforts to calm a raging inferno.

He snorted and stood and moved away from her, pacing idly to dull his sudden energy. Had he stayed any closer, he surely would have harmed her. Something he, despite his anger, would rather not do. It was a sin to harm a female with such violence. At least a female who was worthy of such compassion.

Snorting softly, her wings folded neatly against her firm sides as it seemed his patience was wearing down by the way he paced back and forth. Arbiter seemed awfully agitated if what she said hadn't hit home some truth, yet as the vixen curled her lip in a distasteful snarl, she turned her back to him and looked over her shoulder.

"Then live your life how it is, spend day in day out in a peaceful life and breed more of your species into the same existance. Perhaps this dull lifestyle suits you more now, just like that rabbit." She knew he wasn't full, wasn't satisfied.....yet if he was prone to live such a disgusting life; she wasn't about to drag him kicking and screaming - that was just a turnoff right there.

"Besides, I am using my head; are you sure you are? I have not doubted a single word from my lips....where as I beg to differ with you."

Ripa stopped his pacing and glared her down once more. He felt his last good nerve slowly being snipped away. How long would it be before he completely lost it and reverted to the old self which he had carefully been hiding in order to do exactly what she proposes. Live. "I care not of what you think" he said in his deep angry voice. It had returned. Usually there was no malice and rage behind his words, but in this sentence, there were. He felt his last good nerve had gone and his old ever scowling face returned. He had enough of her insolence. His peaceful side begged to him not to harm her, but it was burning up. Her words were true. Why should he be an innocent lamb? It got him no where here. If he was brought back to life after being killed, maybe he was supposed to continue his rash and ruthless actions.

After a moment of what seemed like soul searching, his pupils narrowed and fixed themselves on the green orbs that he just recently averted his eyes to, but now he could care less. "Perhaps...you are right." He snarled, fangs dripping with saliva. His thirst for blood had interested him, and having no considerable prey to attack, he focused his attention on the next best thing. The demon herself. "Perhaps...I should take more things into interest"

Standing taller as she stretched her frame, she could feel she'd gotten him hook line and sinker. An ominous tone rose in his tone, the malice lacing his words like sweet, sweet poison. Her brow furrowed as that sinister grin formulated on her lips; the realization of the dangers which she was confronted with excited her....yet she was never one to fear for her life once it had been taken once. If she was right that this male could have the ability to quench her satisfaction, well....she wouldn't mind dying here.

Yet she wasn't about to go do something dumb like that until she got what she wanted.

"My thoughts matter not in the grand scheme of things, i'd be insulted if you care; frankly." The vixen was starting to see the warrior he really was, the blood lust was something she was rather familiar with before her death; now she had control and could use it to her advantage. Stepping closer with slow and rhythmical steps as her body twisted and swayed with each step, Corosina only stopped when she was about a meter or so infront of the towering beast - even for her.

"You can eat me if you like, but as a demon you would be subjected to poisons and essences beyond even the most poisonous living creatures could produce. Unless you have a shaman or priest like ally on your side, even a beast like you would succumb." She needed not to lie on this as a serious expression had settled on her face; she didn't work this hard to get him out of that wimpy state to have him die by killing her. "Besides, I taste better by alternate means...." Tilting her head, her tail slowly flicked side to side; trying to keep her stance calmed enough to allow that inner conscious to relay that hunger to other means.

At this proximity she could definitely pick up on the feminine smell which lingered on his frame. A mate, perhaps? "It seems though, you have someone which holds you back too....why is that? I thought if a warrior was to take someone, that they would have the strength to help raise them to better heights....not keep them sated like a lamb." Carefully she watched, muscles at the ready yet she kept her state relaxed the best she could.

A coy smirk stretched, "I could show you satisfaction, and a hunger to which you can use to your utmost advantage..."

He scoffed and took a few steps towards her. He didn't care. "I've died once before too. Someone thought they were granting me mercy but instead they only granted suffrage. My goal..My will..my life..is to die doing what I can only do best, fighting. And if your proposition of killing me after your death is true, then I welcome it with open arms" he snarled as he circled around his prey, looking for a good area to strike. He wasn't blind to her advances, but in all honesty, he was far from interested.

"Your offers of a second kind of hunger is only one sided. You lust for my company, but I only lust for your blood to slither to my stomach." he growled as he stopped suddenly, finding a suitable place to attack. He was big enough to stand over her, so he would attack from behind and break her neck with his jaws. It was a good plan. But he was in plain sight now. Ambush would not be in his favor

This was getting risky, and Corosina was even starting to feel that flight instinct rise in her gut; a feeling she hadn't felt in a long time. The tigress snarled, the fur along her spine and fur bristling as the silken fur stood on end. Folding her wings in a poised position on her back like a shield, she was well aware of their capabilityand strength to push lungers away from her spine and neck....yet Arbiter was much bigger than most. If anything she would be able to block, allow her wing to be sacrificed and make off into the night.

As much as she cherished her beautiful wings, they had been designed to detach from her body with minimal damage if need be.

Turning her body half way to easily keep Arbiter in her sights, a low growl rumbled from her throad; tail keeping close to her frame as the tip twitched side to side. "Then so be it, you will die as stupidly as before; without logic or honor...not that im sure it matters to one who is willing to believe he is worthless. You might as well just be shot in the head by one of those Spartans wandering the lands..."

Why did he not attack? Why did he remain? If he had no further use and did not just try and killer her off with the fear he claimed he didn't have for his life....why stall? Watching him with an obvious confused and suspicious stare; her brows furrowed along her brow. "Well....what has this beast standing as if he is conflicted...?"

He need not answer her. He watched as her body took a defensive posture. One that would make things more difficult for his plan to quickly kill her. Yes he still had his cloaking device, but with the sand beneath his toes and the moon shining intensely, it would do him no good. As she turned to him, he walked the opposite direction. Now the 2 were circling each other like pro wrestlers do before the match, all the while, he eyed her cautiously. Not knowing whether she would attack if he did or if she would flee. There had to be something he could do, but what.

Even as she spoke meaningless words, he couldn't put his claws on it, but what if he took her desires for other things and used it to his advantage. Were he to get close enough with her guard down, it would be even easier, but it was risky. He could easily be seduced as well. He bantered endlessly in his head and decided it was either this or a frontal assault that would more than likely result in his prey fleeing from him. A wasted attempt, so he decided to see how far he could get into her ideas, but it would take a huge amount of acting.

He paused in his steps, continuing to watch her every move, this time his blood thirst was replaced with a glint in his eye.

Immediately stopping in their twisted tango of sorts when his steps ceased; this put the feline deeper into that rooted sense of danger. It puzzed the female to no end, as her frown had yet to lift nor her eyes stray anywhere from the form of the brute before her.

Why....why are you not attacking me? Concern for your life isn't it...I'm sure he would survive any attacks I can dish out unless he ingests enough blood or...eats. Corosina thought with a frantic desire to figure out what he was up to...but she wasn't familliar with acting....at least not done to her rather than herself being the performer. Connecting her eyes with his, there was something there that changed....that hunger which had bristled her fur had been replaced with something else....but she couldn't quite put her paw on it.

Ears still folded back and posture alert but not as tense, her fur had managed to settle back down while her tail swayed. She dare not make a move least it be the wrong one than what he was thinking. What is going on in that head of yours...

Excellent He thought to himself. He prevented a smile from crawling on his face as he knew it was more likely to lead her suspicious and that Elite smiles should be outlawed. Instead he walked cautiously to her, lowering his head, but keeping his eyes trained on her movements. He wasn't sure that she would understand the symbolism behind him lowering his head, but anyone who had half a brain could tell that he was not interested in killing now. He walked past her and found a soft patch of grass near by, where he flopped down and appeared completely relaxed. He waited patiently to see if she'd catch on

Immediately her muscles tensed, feeling the twitch in her back dominant leg as she was ready to kick off without a moments notice....but words were not needed to the fellow predator...when his head had lowered her eyes lost their furrowed edge immediately. Standing up rather straight as he walked past her in a pace unbesuited to the large alien....the feline demoness had no clue what was going on.

She wasn't sure she liked it.

Waiting a few moments to see if he would look back in a manner which would blow his cover to her immediately....he kept that relaxed posture...and boy had she ever been sent for a complete one eighty. Keeping her wings against her back albiet snug along her flesh, she slowly pawed her way over to him before it was she who was looking down from the height. Can I trust this...? She wondered, but as he continued she leaned her head down and sniffed lightly at his neck. It might have been odd for him, yet she was trying to check for a scent marker...one which no matter what mask of cover could usually give away the physiologial intentions of the body.

...it was just a shame the Arbiter didn't seem to have any around the same spots as most of the species on this planet. With that idea blown, she did the only thing she could think of to try and rouse any negative reaction from him if he was still as repulsed as he said before. Shifting her face to the back of his neck she nibbled the tough flesh there, obviously waiting for any kind of strike as her eyes flickered up to his face.

It was a perfect moment to strike, but he was no fool. Even with the attempts of his arousal, he could see she was just testing him. He'd rather catcher off guard entirely, so he decided to play along, even though the shiver that was sent down his spine was relaxing. He just had to remember not to get himself too deeply involved with the circumstances

He made no attempts to strike when he felt the small fangs nibble at the back of his neck. Instead he let out a very contented sigh.

Closing her eyes half way as her ears slid tentively back, there was still that nagging little voice which echoed in her ears; but with his lack of prior agression old habits began to surface as said consious became quieter and quieter. There was just something about such a dangerous beast suddenly becoming submissive that just made the demoness drown in curiosity; and of course had her itching for more.

Pushing a little further, she placed a paw on her chest to twist him to face her; looking down intently with illuminated acid hued orbs. "Tell me your name...." The Tigress breathed, surely he would not like this form of domination over him....it had to work.

Or else she didn't know what else to think other than he really wasn't trying to be deceptive.

His yellow eyes were soon met by her green ones as she moved his head to face her. Her was perplexed by her question, namely because female dominance in this type of situation was unheard of in his mind. He wanted to protest, but he felt his name slip past his mandibles anyway. "It's Ripa" he whispered seductively.

He himself stood and nibbled the tips of her ears, working his head down her neck until he let the fanged appendages on his face gently tickle the spot right between her shoulders

Rolling her eyes back as a small chill shot down her spine she knew she was losing it. No...hold on, just a little longer. She wasn't used to resisting these urges, her curse....then again she'd never had so much resistance before; perhaps her senses had been shot? Shifting with a sense of uncertianty when he sat up...she almost missed his name completely once those teeth which she was aware could probably make shreds of her flesh be so...gentle.

"Ripa..." A deep, rumbling purr rolled from her lips, it was a strange name from those she ran into from her tribe, or even around here. Yet she assumed it could very well be norm from wherever he came from. "Such a strong name....no wonder you are a force to be reconed with." No act, no forced flattery.... she knew the dangers of fliting with disaster, a price which would be ultimate. Yet there was no backing now, her hunger got a taste and she was hooked like an addict.

Curling her wings from her back she allowed the near translucent membranes curl around his shoulders as she pressed her nose into his shoulder; her purr rumbling louder.
