Damn, looked like this Toxicroak had some endurance after all. Spotting the incoming Poison Jab again through the flames, Zaru had just enough time to crane his neck away and avoid the blow, the attack simply grazing the side of his head. He instinctively took a step backwards, shaking off the Jab, and was about to attack again when he noticed Xavier jumping back into the fray, and immediately afterwards Jasper and Lucy launching attacks of their own at Lancer to defend the Umbreon. Huh, well he'd just leave the Moon Guild punk to them then; he'd spotted another target of his own in the form of a shouting green Weavile.
The Infernape scowled slightly at Lancer's comment, but said nothing, instead powering up a Flare Blitz and charging at the Toxicroak; but several feet in front of the Moon Guilder he leapt up and over his head, instead leaping over to Orson with his attack.
Leila blinked in surprise as Leon's balance wavered, and she frowned a little before turning back to Jonah and engaging in a short telepathic conversation. Finally the Gardevoir sighed and shrugged, then Leila gingerly pushed away from leaning on him and limped over to where Leon was leaning against some ice. "Are you okay?" she asked, and nearby Jonah rolled his eyes before casually flinging a Magical Leaf attack towards Selena. Hell, she was the one in charge, so she'd probably be the most important one to take out of the fight.

 LancerLancer took in all the attacks coming for him and only grinned to himself. It seemed he was quite the popular one today. Too bad they wouldn't have a chance to stop him for too long! The Ice Beam shot towards him was destroyed with a well-placed Cross-Chop, although his arm did become somewhat numb. Next, he narrowly avoided Xaviers attack by sucking and letting the Dark type sail of his head. Perfect prey. "Sorry, kid. You're comin' with me!" he chuckled. Scooping the Umbreon under his arm, he dashed away from the battle as quickly as he could, in the direction of the Moon Guild.

    Amani & Leon & Orson & LucyOrson's eyes flickered around when he saw Lancer running away with the Umbreon.
"Uh... I GO HELP HEEM!" He bellowed, and ran off after the Toxicroak.
Lucy roared in agony and punched the floor.
"XAVIER! s**t, s**t, s**t!"
There was no way she was going to let that Toxicroak get away.
True, she had toned down that Ice Beam because she knew exactly who she was attacking, but now Lancer had gone too far.
She ran off after the Toxicroak.
Leon gazed at Leila.
He noticed the wounded leg, but payed no mind to it.
"Leila...." He muttered.
His eyes then glanced over to the fight.
He stood up off of the ice and began to charge an Aura Sphere.
"Get back," He told the female Lucario.
This was gonna be one big Aura Sphere.
The Lucario was about to launch the attack at Selena when a little voice cried out.
"AMANI TO THE RESCUE!!!"
The little Pichu from before came dashing out from behind the rock, charging at Selena.

The Raichu let out a stream of curses, spinning around to pursue the Toxicroak when that little Pichu went and cried out in heroics.
Damn thing!
For a split second he was torn, whether to chase Lancer or keep that moron of a child from getting shredded by Selena.
Swearing he turned and grabbed the Pichu by the scruff, leaping over Selena who had dove at him with her claws in a Night Slash.
She moved as if to attack, but instead thought better of it and gave a quick laugh before bounding off.
"Stay here, dammit!" Jasper shouted, dropping the Pichu hard on the ground and leaping after the Umbreon.
He could have caught her, he was faster than that b***h for sure, but midstride his lungs siezed and he couldnt breath.
He hit the brakes, gasping for air as the world blurred around him and when the attack finally let up, Selena and Lancer were both gone from sight.
"DAMMIT! XAVIER!" He started to shout in rage, but stopped and instead started a coughing fit.

The sun was beating down harsh on a lone Buneary (having the habit of using his Sunny Day attack wherever he went) as he trotted around completely alone for the moment in the training grounds. After taking a few seconds of checking out the place he stood still with a slight grin on his face, carefully concentrating on an outcropping of heavy rock before him. In no time a large ray of light, his best attempt at a Solar Beam attack, shot down from the sky and shattered the boulder to bits."That is soo cool!" He squealed out as his own accomplishment; really wishing someone else was around to see his awesomeness.

"That has to be the stupidest thing I've ever seen." A dull voice stated and perched on one of the rocks was a shiny Shinx with spiky blonde tufts of 'hair' on his head.
His annoyed blue eyes starred at the Buneary hard before he lost interest and glanced away with a depressing sigh.

"Hey!" Flint scowled at the downtrodden commentary. Not cool."Not like you can do any better~" He had an idea after a moment of just staring down the Shinx with a slight bit of annoyance apparent on his own face now."This is a place for training anyway; so why don't you stop sitting there and looking all lazy and actually do something. He began to try and coax the electric type into a little spar. If anything even though he already didn't care for him too much training with another Pokemon would be more productive than alone.

The Shinx pretended to contemplate the idea of getting down from his rock in a very serious manner before shaking his head.
"I'd rather not. Its not worth the effort."
With that he rolled onto his back, paws in the air and starred at the sky, ignoring the Buneary as though he were not there.

Flint let out a sigh at the Shinx's response. Thinking over his next move carefully for a moment before acting. This was soo going to be worth it... Just as he saw the Shinx getting comfortable on his back another burst of light plunged down from the sky and hit the rock he was resting on with the same force as the first. "Oh dear~, so sorry! I better practice on my accuracy more~" Flint shouted out, sarcasm apparent, over the sound of the initial impact of the attack. The Shinx should have been alright, but at least his resting place was pretty much a pile of rubble by that point. Flint could only stand and wait impatiently for a response as the cloud of debris around the point of impact cleared.

When the dust settled the Shinx stood on the remains of his rock unharmed, but his bored expression had shifted to an extremely annoyed one.
Dust coated his shiny yellow fur and a small rock was comically resting on the top of his head.
"Yeah, I'm totally going to kill you for that one." Without further comment Volkner went charging forward unleashing a Spark attack as he went barreling towards the Buneary.

Well that worked even better than expected. Flint even let out a little chuckle at the Shinx's expense as he was attacked."Ya' know~, I never did catch your name." He began to strike up conversation nonchalantly as he matched the Spark attack head-on with a Fire Punch of his own. Flames licking across his fluffy paws as he swung at just the right time to cancel out the inevitable impact that was charging at him.

His tail smacked the ground in an Iron Tail with enough force to help him propel into the air and flip over the Buneary's fiery assault.
Upon landing the Shinx spun around and opened his jaws in a Thunder Fang.
"I didnt give it." He replied before snapping those fangs at the rabbit.

"Shame." Flint sighed as he got a very curt answer ended up swinging his fist straight into thin air. Suddenly afterward he felt a sharp pain on his back. A sparking jaw now latched onto the back of his shoulder. "I'm Flint by the way." He muttered out through gritted teeth; in a reasonable amount of pain yet trying not to show it. The only retaliation he could attempt to this last attack ended with another Solar Beam attack; the attack he had been practicing all this time now raining down on both him but more importantly the Shinx latched onto his back.

The Shinx let go of his prey and leapt back at the oncoming Solar Beam, both dull blue eyes narrowed at the Buneary before he grumbled in annoyance.
"Volkner." He stated, apparently introducing himself before turning tail and leaping up onto another rock and then leaping off it in a Quick Attack.

Fairly stunned by his own attack hitting him and unfortunately only him; Flint was unable to protect himself as the Shinx lunged at him full speed taking him down to the ground and pinning on his back momentarily."Heh, nice to meet cha'~ He smirked, using his Bounce attack to spring to his feet and deliver a aerial kick down onto the now introducted Volkner.
