When the meal was completed and the dishes were cleared (Fallon rejecting any and all help), she gave each girl five slips of paper and explained the game they were about to play, smile creeping into her voice. The questions were written and placed in a bowl in the center.
Time to play! Fallon curled her legs neatly around herself, brushing a long strand of cinnamon hair over her shoulder. "I'll start," she said. Games were fun! This game would be fun too! It took a lot of Fallon's concentration not to bubble over with excitement. Sure, she was mature for her age, but she was still fifteen. Fifteen and ready to make some friends. Long fingers reached into the bowl and pulled out the first slip of paper. She read aloud, " Have you ever had a boyfriend?" Baha. Bahaha. Bahahahahahahahahaha. Fallon grinned, shaking her head at her own little joke. She certainly didn't hide her sexuality, but she didn't really broadcast it either. She was who she was, and it didn't matter if that person was straight or gay. The question, however, was hilarious to her. A devious smirk crossed her lips. "No," she said, explaining nothing more and passing the bowl to Melinda. "Your turn." Elusive Fallon is elusive. Turn-Taking List for Questions
Fallon Melinda <---- You're up! Elke Serenade Pisces Imogen Abeline

((Forewarning: We have a nasty snow storm right now over our heads. It took out the power until about an hour ago. Its suppose to last clear through Monday, so I might vanish. If I don't respond, I'm so sorry.))
Melinda pretty much kept quiet throughout dinner, and even after the plates were picked up. Her emerald eyes just looking over all the girls, mostly trying to remember faces for when she would see them again. She only seem to open up as Fallon read her question. She didn't know why, but a small smile forms across her lips as she gave her answer.
Looking down at the bowl that had been place in front of her, she felt rather nervous for a moment. Chewing on her bottom lip, she took a deep breath as she reaches into the bowl. Her finger wrapping around three before she dropped two of them.
Lifting the paper up, she turns it over as she eyes the question "What makes you angry?" she fell quiet as she thought over the answer. She was normally a very bright girl, and it didn't take much to make her angry.
Yet she did have one thing...
Glancing around at the girls, she looks back down at the slip of paper "I get angry when no matter how hard I try, sometimes it seems I can't help out those who mean the most to me. It makes me mad to know end, cause then I feel like I have failed." dropping the paper back into the bowl, she gives it a quick shake.
Looking towards Elke, she gives her a smile as she holds the bowl out towards her "Your turn Elke."

Elke watched Fallon apprehensively, not wanting to do anything wrong; it seemed like the other girl had been acting just... really weird. Predatory. Like she was staring at people around Elke funny... and smiling just a little too brightly... It was really creepy, okay, it just was. Did she know she was Virgo?!
After a long moment, she took a deep breath and took the bowl. She reached in for a question, settled on a piece of paper with torn edges. Reading it, she smiled, and then she laughed. "I got my own question," said Elke, one hand over her mouth. "What would you do if you had a crush on someone you weren't supposed to? Well, um, I guess I'd ignore it." Too quickly, she dropped it back into the bowl and held the bowl out to the princ-- Serenade.
By her blush, it was clear she'd asked that because she'd wanted someone else's answer.

Serenade hadn't honestly known what to write down as questions and was rather surprised when Fallon picked one of hers. It was the boyfriend one, and a thought had suddenly struck Serenade; what if she had picked up that one? It would be awkward for her and the Zodiacs would know the reason why. She hadn't really thought that far.
Elke had gotten her own question, and she seemed to have the same predicament Serenade had wondered about; she wasn't sure how to answer her own question. What with Avery and all, Serenade mused, but took the bowl and retrieved a question.
"If you can go anywhere you want, where do you go?" She read out. It was rather difficult to answer; Serenade did not dream of going anywhere in particular. She had her Zodiacs here, Zue was here, but... "I'd go wherever Ally is." She said quietly and held out the bowl to Pierette.

Pierrette lifted her head from Abeline's arm and looked up at her with a smile. She had expected that she'd be yelled at, or even pushed off.
When she realized that that wouldn't happen, Pierrette giggled at their little secret. It was a little unnerving, seeing this innocent girl giggle-- but there was a reason. For some reason, her memory decided to filter in all the PG-rated memories involving Cancer first. Huh. Well, it was good for the game, after all. Didn't need to have a fainter (and, believe me, she would faint).
Pierrette took a number from the bowl.

"Would you live with someone without marrying them?" Pierrette squinted at the sheet of paper before putting it back in the bowl.
"That's a difficult one... I'm guessing you mean boys, right?"
Pierrette was quiet, eerily quiet. She was remembering things, remembering pain. A bright white pain on her ring-finger, to be exact.
Finally, she spoke.
"Nope!" she pushed the bowl to Abeline. "Knights always stay with their princesses."
One could attribute that to Pierrette's love of fairy tales.
But the Zodiac knew better.

Knights always stay with their princesses, hm? Imogen would liked to have believed it was true, because she was just as big a fairy-tale lovin' romantic at heart as Pierrette. She smiled at the other girl before taking her a question slip out of the bowl.
"Do you believe in the news coverage of Barren Pines? Nice question... and no, I don't." She didn't take more than a second after reading the question to answer it, but she shot Fall an apologetic look. Not exactly a fun question and they'd been trying to be friends without Barren Pines being featured in conversation - least she had been. Can't move on if it never stops coming up.

Fallon offered Melinda a soft smile when she answered. Feeling helpless was a familiar fear for her, too. When Elke answered, her eyes lingered on the girl's face, trying desperately to understand the appeal. Sure, she was cute, and she seemed nice. By why did the others seem so magnetized to her? Pierrette and Abeline, too, seemed to share a special bond. It almost made Fallon feel... left out. And at her own dinner party, too.
She pushed the thoughts out to listen to Serenade's question. The girl had such a pleasant voice, though Fallon could never put her finger on the exact characteristic that made it so soothing. "Ally?" she said, words escaping her lips before she could contain them. "Who is Ally?" Did Serenade have a sister or something? As far as Fallon could remember, there had been no Ally at Barren Pines either. The question was posed innocently, softly.
Her voice trailed off when Pierrette answered. So the girl assumed it would be a boy? Hmph. Fallon could be just as good of a knight to Pierrette's princess as any boy in all of Destiny City! At least, according to her.
Imogen's question brought a tinge of sadness. Would Barren Pines ever cease to be so painful? She smiled softly at the other girl. They were on the same page about the news and its accuracy in reporting the incident.
Magenta eyes moved to Abeline. "It's your turn, Abeline. I hope you get a good one."

Abeline reached into the bowl, yawning a little. She smiled a little at Pierrette's private joke and pulled out a piece of paper.
"Have you ever skipped school?" She read aloud.
That was easy, even if Abeline looked like the sort of girl who attended every class, who looked like she was a good student and didn't panic when the words 'math's test' or 'English essay' entered the conversation. Abe spent more time thinking about dance than she did school. Even now, when she'd decidedly hung up the ballet shoes (sort of) and....
"All the time." She answered simply, passing the bowl back to Fallon. She punctuated her response. "I am not good in the classroom. I don't understand maths or essays or..." Her brows furrowed. "That other stuff..."
The whole learning 'thing' was lost on Abe. But she wasn't saying she was dumb... wait... s**t. She'd pretty much just said that much. Abeline rubbed the back of her head a little ruefully. Maybe if she was like a south-american frog, she could go invisible...

The bowl slipped back into Fallon's hands, her eyes lingering briefly on Abeline. "I'd skip history every day if it wouldn't tank my GPA," she said, shaking her head. The subject was difficult for her. It was just the same situation repeated over and over again -- but in different countries. Power shifted, tables turned, the balance of the world was offset. She could understand the overarching themes, but failed tests for not grasping the individual details.
Fallon reached her fingers into the bowl and picked out the first slip she touched. She read it aloud: " What kind of superpower would you want if you had one?" A smile twitched on to her lips. "This is a good one." And it was! This was the kind of question that you always saw on internet surveys. Whatever power you said would say something about your personality, right?
At first, Fallon started to say "invisibility" but quickly changed her mind. She pressed a painted nail to her lips. "Time manipulation," she said. "Or maybe telekinesis. Wait. Yeah, telekinesis. I'd love to be able to control things with my mind, or put thoughts in other people's heads." It was a nice thought. She could cook dinner from the other room while ironing her dresses. She could make ill-mannered people do as she wanted. Well, maybe she should have asked for 'mind control.' Oh well. It didn't really matter; it was just a pretend game.
Leaning over, she passed the bowl back to Melinda. "Round two!" she announced, holding up two fingers and smiling.

Melinda couldn't help but chuckle over Fallon's answer, as she would have probably said the same thing. And skipping school, she only did that once. Chewing on her bottom lip, she shook the image from her head as she reached into the bowl. Moving the small papers around for a couple of seconds, she finally pulled one out.
Unfolding it, she read if over, only to have frown form across her lips for a moment. It was the same question that Imogen had gotten on her turn "Do you believe in the news coverage of Barren pines?" setting the paper back into the bowl, she shook her head for a moment.
"No I don't believe the garbage that was fed to everyone about Barren Pines. Not after the phone calls and text messages I got from Fallon." saying nothing more, she shrugs it off as she hands the bowl off to Elke.

Serenade wanted to go where Ally was? But Ally... was dead, wasn't he? The look she gave her Princess was worried, and for a moment she abandoned her manners to give Serenade a tight hug. "Ally is..." Elke gave her green-haired friend a hopeless look. "Ally is important," she said, "we owe him a lot."
It was not her place to say anything else.
She flinched every time Barren Pines came up. Of course, the others didn't remember! The Opal Crystal was saving them the pain. But she remembered, and she rubbed the place on her neck where she had taken Fallon's bite for Serenade. Poor, poor Princess...
The question she drew was easy. "What do you think is your worst characteristic? Your best?" She sighed and said, "I'm really terrible at History. But I'm really good at talking to people and I'm told I give great hugs!"

"Very important." Serenade added softly, and that was all she would say of that. Pierette received a small smile for her reply.
She glanced at Melinda as the other professed that she didn't believe what the news had covered up about Barren Pines. Fallon obviously didn't either; was she the one who posed that question? Serenade was of the belief that it was better for them to not know what went on in Barren Pines. Then again, Melinda hadn't went there... right?
She remained silent even after she drew out her question, musing over it. "What's your favorite story from a book or movie or whatever and why?" That was easy, it was the stories that Ally told her. Still, it would be better to keep her mouth shut about him from now on, unless she wanted to explain her ex-boyfriend who everyone thought was like her older brother who had went to Sovereign Heights but was now dead...
"I liked the song 'I don't want to live on the moon' in Sesame Street." She finally answered. "If that counts."
