Molly saw his strained face and knew he felt cold. She then went over and gently hugged him. "I wont let the boogeyman take you. I'll do everything to save you." she said soothingly.

Miryu shivered under her gentle nature, the apparition of the hand slowly crawling back underneath the bed, his surroundings seemingly going warmer.
"But...he'll take you too..." he said, clinging to her, comforted by her motherly nature, one thing that he never experienced.

"I'm a tough girl, I'll beat him up so that he wont want to get you." Molly said with a serious look but a sweet tone as she held him close and hummed softly so to sooth him.

Miryu smiled at her, slowly going away from the realm of consciousness. He felt childish, but it was what he needed. His eyelids started to droop, his visions seemingly forgotten.
"Thank...you.." he managed to yawn out before falling asleep in Molly's arms.

Molly smiled and cuddled with him for a few more minutes before gently putting him back to bed and kissing his forehead goodnight in a motherly way. She then went to the door but stopped and looked around his room. "Leave this boy alone." she told the empty room before leaving.

Lorenzo could only shake his head lightly. He pitied the woman. Her child was indeed not dead, he remembered reading that in her medical record, but she was constantly hearing him. This had become routine to him. Sophia was stubborn, never considering what he had said about her baby. Still, another try was worth it.

"Safe, Sophia," he whispered, "He is safe." Of course the child was forever unconscious, deaf, and blind. He was kept in another facility, far from the Hospital of Dreams. Lorenzo's pity grew, knowing that she would never see her child again. Still, she was mentally anguished belonged in this hospital.

"Come, Sophia," he said, standing straight and beckoning her forth. "Perhaps you need to relax. You are rather agitated tonight. Would you care for a glass of water?"

Of course, Lorenzo wouldn't just give her water. He would have liquid melatonin mixed in so that they could sleep quicker. Sleeping medication was more modern, but took away the REM sleep that humans need.

Sophia shocked her head, she didn't want the water, she didn't want the pity she could hear on Dr. Lorenzo's voice, or the constant attention she was object of because of her psychological and emotional instability "Has my husband paid the fee already?" she asked not getting up, her only hope for getting out of here, besides miraculously regaining her sanity, was that her 'dear' husband would stop paying her fees and that she would be forced to leave, they would probably move her to a different asylum then, a cheaper one, a public one, but then she could at least see new people, maybe new people would understand, maybe new people would let her see her baby...

Sophia didn't wait for the doctor's answer, it was obvious her husband had paid, anything to keep her away from him, her husband would have probably asked for divorce already if he hadn't known her well enough to know Sophia would not leave him rest even then, it was his fault she was here, surely he had instructed them not to show Sophia her child, but maybe it was her own fault, when she woke up from the anesthesia she had screamed at him, she shouldn't have screamed at him.

"Good morning dear" the familiar voice of a brown haired man came to her memory, a tired woman had smiled at him, who was that woman? it couldn't be Sophia, no, she looked so healthy, so happy, oh sure, she looked exhausted and pained, but she had just given birth after all, she was a happy woman non the less, a woman full of light and hope, it couldn't possibly have been Sophia, oh no.

"Good morning, where is our baby?" this stranger woman to whom Sophia could not think of as herself anymore had asked with sleepy eyes, she had fallen unconscious when the child had cried, she had held up pretty well until that moment but when she heard the baby cry she had fainted, the excessive work combined with the anesthesia and the release of the mental anguish that she had felt before the birth of the child all played it's part on her fainting, as she heard the baby cry she had lost consciousness.

When the stranger-Sophia came back to her senses the baby was no where in sight, the room was quiet... too quiet, and the man she no longer knew as he husband had smiled condescendingly at her and looked at her with sorrowful eyes, he had greeted her with a different smile before but as he heard the question his look had change so much... oh it was too much! and his word! God, his dreadful words! "He didn't make it" that horrible man said, she had heard it as if amidst a dream... It was lie! a lie! the biggest of all lies! she couldn't remember anything about the stranger-Sophia after that, she knew she had screamed, she, Sophia, she didn't know what she had said though...

"I shouldn't have screamed at him" she said to Dr. Lorenzo referring to her husband "but... but he didn't even let me hold my baby" she said placing her feet to the ground and letting her forearms rest upon her legs "I didn't even got to see him, all i could hear were his cries" she said, her voice becoming frantic as tears started to roll down her eyes " they didn't let me hold him... please let me hold him" Sophia said looking at the doctor, begging him with her eyes "please..." her voice cracked down and she had to hold her head in one hand for it not to fall from it's place over her neck.

Miryu sunk into a deep, dreamless sleep, a rare event for him.
The voices inside his room have quieted down, and the creatures of the dark were lurking beneath the shadows.

Lorenzo sank to Sophia's level once more and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Sophia, I don't have that authority," he said in a low voice. The look on her face was anguished. Of course it would be; she was never allowed to see her child, the one that she carried inside of her for nine months and the one she believed to be hearing. Lorenzo was engaged, but never had children. Even if he did, there was no way he could understand her pain. No love for a child could prove higher than the love of a mother, the one who housed it's developing body, the one who spent hours in labor just to see the child.

Still, Sophia was clearly maddened enough. Seeing her child in the condition it was in would only madden her more.

"Oh, yes, your husband has paid the fee," he said quietly. "Come to bed, Sophia. You're clearly exhausted."

Sophia cleaned her tears before getting up "I am sorry" she whispered before getting to her feet, she hadn't realized how tired she was until now "I guess i shouldn't be bothering you at this time" she said looking outside the window, it was pitch black, the doctor was probably tired, and yet he was here to deal with her and her unreasonable demands, of course, they where being paid to keep her away from the child, they couldn't disobey the one who was paying them, she was being unreasonable for asking them to disobey but she didn't care all that much, yet the doctor had been nice enough not to force the medicine on her, she should at least let him rest for tonight, she started to hear small sobs on the distance, ah, she shouldn't have stopped the lullaby.

Lorenzo wasn't very sleepy, but he had a fiancee to come home to. Normally, he didn't stay behind so late. He had been kept back by a patient who had experienced a dopamine storm and his presence for a few hours. He closed his weary eyes, his eyelids suddenly feeling more heavy than they did a few minutes ago.

"You aren't bothering me, Sophia," he said, his voice carrying barely any emotion, "This is my job." He looked ahead of him, noticing a familiar nurse with pale-pink hair.

"Ms. Iris," he called softly, "Escort Ms. Sophia Bleu to her room, please."
PostPosted: Fri Feb 05, 2010 11:22 pm

Sophia smiled weakly, ah, yes, his job of course, truly, he was one of the few she considered as honest people around but that didn't make him any more kind, why, his lack of kindness was probably what made her think of him as a honest man.

Sophia looked at Isis, she didn't need to be escorted, she knew the way to her room but if the doctor said she needed to be escorted she would follow even if just for tonight "You should rest too though, i don't seem to be the only exhausted one, good night" she said with the same weak smile as she waited for Isis to come around, she would follow the nurse... if only tonight.

Lorenzo watched the two women walk away slowly, pursing his lips and shaking his head. Sophia needed medication, anti-psychotic medication and perhaps something to calm her nerves. She didn't want her medication, though, despite the persuasion of Lorenzo and the other doctors.

He zipped up his coat and headed out of the ancient hospital through the back entrance that lead to the parking lot. The night was cold and the sudden wind burning his cheeks. He sat himself in his sleek, black, Ferrari and drove off into the night.

His fiancee was already asleep when he got home. It was late after all. She wouldn't be happy about this. She made it clear that she enjoyed the nights when they would fall asleep together. He began to undress. Hopefully, she won't be too upset.

Molly smiled softly as she lead Sophia to her room. She knew how this woman felt about her baby. Molly was going to be a mom but a miscarage ruined everything and now she is afraid to ever try again. She had never told anyone this but she would always decline a guy's request to go out with her.

"Hear we are miss." she said with a smile as she lead her into the room. "Would you like anything to drink? I promise I wont put anything in it." she said with a sincere smile.

I walked in the door expecting a nurse or doctor to greet me, but there was no one... That didn't matter anyway I dint want to see anyone, people here would treat me like a psycho-like I was mad a crazy loony.I wasn't any of them, well if I stay quiet and show recovery then I'll be out of here FAST...hopefully.As I looked down at my application I was so tempted to thread it away like it didn't exist, but I knew it was there with that mans dignity written on it in curls and swirls all over the form, indented in the paper.I shoved in in my pocket, all wrinkled. As I fixed my leather jacket I helped myself in, exploring the place in secret hopeing no one would find me I wondered in the agony filled hallways promising myself not to speak...
