Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninMisuki took the plate from him and thought about his question for a moment. "Actually, I've been meaning to learn these two genjutsus but since they're not on the priority list I think I can leave them off till after you're done training. You don't need to be a moving target for genjutsu." Misuki smiled at the last part before walking away with the two plates on her left hand and her half-eaten sandwich on her right. "Good luck with your training Deil-san, hopefully once we're both done, I'll still have enough chakra to learn the two genjutsus."

"Ok then. And to you as well." Deil walked over to the training dummy, and thought about the look on her face and the voice of her response to the notice of the blood. I think it is best that I did not probe after all. There are certain things that she must do, I guess, to get the job done. She seems level headed, and is kind so it is not my place to judge and pry. He then kicked the dummy, and jumped up to meet it and hit it. The dummy went flying toward the other direction, and Deil went over to it to set it back up for another go. [7/20][2/4][2/10]

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninStopping in front of the supply bags, Misuki took out an empty plastic bag and placed the two plates inside before stuffing the bag pack into the sac alongside all the other various supplies. She spotted Deil's personnal travel bag beside the other bags and took out a protein nutrition bar. Misuki unwrapped it and began nibbling at it while going over the information and handsigns of the jutsu she planned to work on first today. 'Alright, the Chakra no Mesu, its a medical jutsu primarily used for field surgery but can be used in battles as well. The user first...' [1/4]
Finished with the protein bar, Misuki placed the wrapper in a side pocket of her travel bag before taking out her bottle of water and drinking it. When she was done, Misuki noted that her first bottle was almost empty. 'Good thing I packed around three, I'm sure I'll be needing the water.' Misuki walked over to her unoffical training spot on the other end of the dune and began to form the correct handsigns for the Chakra no Mesu (Chakra Scalpel). Misuki saw her hands get surrounded by the usual pale crimson chakra but noticed that this time, it was in the vague shape of a blade. [2/4]
Concentrating hard on the form of her chakra scalpel, Misuki focus on molding the chakra into different shapes. First she tried making the chakra scalpel longer and thinner, then she tried to make the scalpel wide and thick. After several times of molding practice, Misuki decided to test it's effectiveness as an offensive jutsu. [3/4]
Walking over to a nearby sand dune, Misuki took a deep breath and widen her stance before plugging the scapel blade several times into the sand at various points. Pulling her hand back, Misuki examined her work and saw that the surface of the dune was left unchanged, 'Good, the outside suffered no damage but what about the insides...' Misuki then noticed the top of the dune curve inwards as if its insides just lost alot of air and support. Smiling Misuki cancelled out her jutsu and began preping for the next jutsu. Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninWith her left hand, Misuki adjusted the beat coming from her sound device from the calm, relaxing beat from last night to something more fast paced suitable for training. Setting her training plan into action, Misuki took out three kunai and began attacting them with explosion tags. Running through the procedure for 'Block out' in her mind, Misuki began tapping her right feet in a fast, simple beat required for activating the jutsu. [1/5]
She took in one last deep breath to calm herself before throwing the three kunai a few feet infront on her approximately 3 seconds one after the other. As soon as the final kunai left her hand, Misuki activated her clan jutsu, Block out, by infusing her chakra with the vibrations emmited from her fast, simple tapping. [2/5]
Just as the first explosion tag was about to go off, Misuki concentrated on using the vibrations to block out the the sound of the explosion. As the tag exploded, Misuki felt both sets of sound vibrations clash against each other, allowing only bursts of air to go through. [3/5]
The second explosion went off and for just a moment, Misuki felt her control waver allowing a sudden explosion sound to reach her ears. Closing her eyes, Misuki focused on strenghting her chakra control on her vibrations in order to stop the sounds from getting though, suddenly there was silence once more. [4/5]
The last and final explosion went off and Misuki has to raise her hands to defend her face against the sudden burst of air. 'Shoot, threw that one a bit too close.' She made sure to keep her right leg tapping the fast, simple beat, as she focused more chaka into the jutsu successfully muting the sound. Misuki felt herself relax as she was able to extend her jutsu to muting out the sounds of the wind wheezing by her ear. Knowing that she didn't have much chakra to waste, Misuki stopped tapping her foot and the jutsu cancelled. The sound of the wind could once again be heard. Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninBreathing deeply, Misuki went to grab a drink of water before starting on her genjutsu training. '*sighs* Learning chunnin level jutsus one after the other is pretty draining, not to mention the fact that I still haven't recovered from yesterday's massive amount of training. I wonder if I'm pushing myself too hard with all these chunnin level ninjutsu training?' Misuki hungrily drank the rest of the water left in her first bottle. The cool water felt refreshing against her dry throat and helped to draw her mind away from the hot blazing heat of the desert even it's only for a second. Placing the empty bottle back into her bag, Misuki took a quick look to see how Deil was doing. 'He seems to be doing well, he'll probably won't be needing my services until a bit later.'
When Misuki was once again at her unoffical training spot, she summoned out kaze bunshin to use as a target. "Alright, so I'm going to start my genjutsu trainin now, hopefully it'll go okay." The clone gave Misuki a nod of consent and Misuki started forming the handsigns required for the genjutsu, "Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Vision of Hell Technique)," Misuki felt her chakra infuse with the dust particles around her. The wind blowing carrying the chakra infused dust particle towards her clone. [1/2]
~Clone's POV~
She watched as her original form the handsigns for the genjutsu and was surprised by the sudden increase in wind. Dust particles were being carriered by the wind and as in brushed past her eyes, she squeezed it shut. When she reopened her eyes she had to blink a few times to clear her vision. Once her vision cleared, she was taken a back by the scene before her, she was alone in a forest, it was night and the dark dancing shadows around her only helped to increase the terror of the forest. Looking about the clone realized that she had shrunk in size and was now about 8 years old. The sound of a twig snapping behind her forced the clone to snap her head around to see what it was. Her smoke grey eyes were met with bright yellow, haunting eyes that seemed to stare into her very soul. The clone felt a cold chill shiver run down her spine as suddenly, the shadowed body of the eyes pranced at her...
~End of Clone's PV~
Misuki watched as her clone closed her eyes in an attempt to block out the sudden dust particles being carried by the wind. When she saw her clone open her eyes again, she saw them blink a few times before they fogged over and her clone stood still staring at nothing. After several seconds, Misuki was sure that her clone was well trapped in her genjutsu with no way to escape, 'Even though she knows that this is a genjutsu, she still hasn't learned the genjutsu kai meaing that she's unable to escape. Time to let her go.' Misuki cancelled out her jutsu and watched in surprise as her clone fell on all fours and began breathing heavily. Running over, Misuki made sure to see if she was alright. Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninSure that her clone was alright, Misuki helped it up before giving her instructions for what to do next. "Alright, now it's your turn to trap me in the exact same genjutsu so that I may attempt to learn the genjutsu kai technique." The clone looked at Misuki with concern written all over her face but Misuki reasured her with a smile, "I'll be okay, besides this is necessary if I want to learn it. I don't think Deil-san knows any genjutsu as of yet so this is the only thing I could come up with that makes sense." The clone let out a reluctant sigh and nodded. "Alright, but if this gets ot of hand, I'm cancelling the genjutsu whether you've learned the genjutsu kai or not." Stepping a few feet back, the clone began forming the correct handsigns, "Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu." The clone's chakra infused with the dust particles around her and the wind began carrying them towards Misuki.
Misuki felt the sudden rush of wind in front of her and just like her clone, she had to close her eyes in an attempt to block out the dust particles. She slowly opened her eyes and was momentarily taken aback by the scene before her. 'This place, it's...' Misuki covered her mouth with her hands as she held back a gasp. Before her were several bushes and from the little openings, Misuki watched as her parents fought off the sound nins. Misuki felt herself tremble a bit from her hiding place as she relived the death of her parents. The logical part of her mind reminded her that this was a genjutsu and that she had to get out of it but to her, it just seems all too real. The sounds, the movements, they were exactly as she remembered.' Taking a deep breath, Misuki tried to stay logical, 'Calm down Misuki, this is a illusion, the first step to getting out of any genjutsu is to recognize it as one so relax and accept that the genjutsu is making you relive the day your parents' death.' [1/5]
Once Misuki felt herself in control once more, Misuki formed the handsign for the genjutsu kai and began focusing her chakra on destroying the illusion. "Kai." For a moment, she though she saw the image waver a bit before everything returned to the way it was. Sighing Misuki seperated her hands and prepared to try again.[2/5]
'Recognization is key, secondly is one's ability to break out of it. It requires a good amount of chakra control which I think I have but the problem is channelling it. Well, this is a C-rank jutsu so it comes to no surprise that I've having slight trouble learning it but the sooner I master it the better since I'm not too sure which opponents might use genjutsu.' Done with her thoughts, Misuki took in a deep breath and exhaled slowly before forming the handsigns again. "Kai." This time around, Misuki saw the bushes in front of her disappear and she could see the desert but just like last time, the image returned a moment later. 'Well, at least I was able to hold on to reality much more longer than before. A few more tries and I'll probably break through.' [3/5]
An formiliar angonizing scream forced Misuki to snap her head up and stare through the opening. The colour immediately drained from her face as she watched her mother get stabbed by a sound nin. 'No, that's not what happened but the scream...so real...' Forcing her body to move, Misuki raised her right hand and slapped herself. The slap did the trick and Misuki was once again able to focus. 'This isn't reality and the sooner I get out of here the better.' She quickly formed the required handsigns, "Kai." the image slowly began to fade...[4/5]
Misuki concentrated hard on breaking out of the genjutsu and slowly she watched as the scene slowly fade before her. Seeing the image fade, Misuki relaxed a bit and immediately regretted it. The image took back a solid form and the sounds could be heard again. 'You know what, just don't look.' Snapping her eyes shut, Misuki concentrated on only two things, focusing chakra into the jutsu and the small camp area which is reality. The sounds of the battle soon faded into the background and a few seconds later, Misuki heard the sounds of the desert wind howling across her face and her own voice calling out to her. Slowly, Misuki opened her eyes and was relieved to see the desert. Dropping to her knees Misuki took in several deep breaths to help calm herself down. Her clone, having realized that she escaped the genjutsu immediately went to her aid. She first went and grabbed a water bottle before running over to her and checking to see if she was alright. "Here. You know you had me really worried there for awhile, you were stuck in the genjutsu for so long that I though something might've happened to you. Any longer and I would've cancelled the genjutsu." Taking the bottle from the clone, Misuki thanked her and weakly opened the cap to drank some water. As water flowed down her lungs, Misuki felt refreshed and her mind slowly cleared from all that she saw during the genjutsu. After she reasured her clone that she was fine, Misuki thanked her once again before dispersing her and heading back to camp. Genjutsu Kai - [5/5]*medical nins take 1 less post to master genjutsu

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninWhen she reached camp, Misuki proceeded to the 'cooking' area and sat down on the soft sand in front of the dead fire. Her bloodied kunai, now dry laid still beside her, picking it up, Misuki reached into her travel bag and pulled out an old wash cloth. She wrapped up the kunai in the cloth before stuffing it into her bag. Looking around, she spotted Deil still deligently going about his training. 'Such a hard worker, I wonder if he's hungry yet, it's been awhile since we started training. Lets see if I can make something better then bread for lunch.' Standing up, Misuki dusted the sand off her clothes before walking over to the supply bags. Misuki searched through the bags to see if she could dig up anything useful. 'Hm, there's a pot here and some coffee powder, that's good but that requires using up water...seems he packed bags of noodles as well...sweet, apples, I wonder if he has the materials to make apple juice...'
After a few more minutes of searching, Misuki found all the ingredients and materials she needed to make a decent lunch. She carried all the stuff back over to the cooking area and began sorting them. 'A bag of apples, a box of sugar, a pot, stiring rod, a pair of chopsticks, 2 bags of noodles, 2 square containers, yep, that's all I need, the rest are in my travel bag.' Reaching into her travel bag, Misuki took out her unopened third bottle of water and the fire starting kit. This time around, she was able to easily light up the fire and immediately moved on to placing the pot on the wire stand. She then proceeded to open her bottle of water and poured half its content into the pot. 'Now to wait...' Misuki reached into her pouch and took out the chunnin level medical scroll and began reading its content to past the time.
Approximately 5 minutes later the water began to boil and Misuki set the scroll aside while she opened the broth powder and poured it in. She than took the two packs of noodles and placed them into the pot. Using the pair of chopsticks, Misuki began stirring the noodles every so often until they were cooked. She then opened the two containers and emptied equal amounts of noodles and soup into both, she then closed the lid on them so that sand wouldn't get into the food. Next she poured the rest of her bottle of water into the now empty pot and waited for it to boil. While waiting for the water to boil, Misuki began cutting up 2 of the apples. As soon as the water showed signs of boiling, Misuki poured in about two teaspoons worth of sugar and stirred the mixture a bit with the stirring rod before throwing in the slices of apples. Juice slowly began to come out from the apples and mix into the water. She stirred the mixture a few more times before carefully taking out the apples and sqeezing out the rest of the juice. She place the dried apples into a bag to be dumped later. Misuki made sure that the juice was mixed with the sugar before covering it with the lid. She took the pot off the wire stand and placed it on the sand to cool. 'Not that it's going to help much seeing how the sand itself is pretty warm due to the sun.' Grabbing her scroll, Misuki continued to read while waiting for Deil to finish so that they could have lunch together.

Deil Grist rolled 1 6-sided dice:
5
Total: 5 (1-6)

Posted: Mon Feb 01, 2010 2:41 pm
Deil went back over to the dummy and kicked it in the chin again, sending it flying into the air again. He than ran a short distance and then jumped up to hit it with a violent kick. The dummy went flying, and deal landed on the ground again before the dummy began it's arc back down. Deil then ran at a good speed across the arena and jumped up into the air and laid down a heavy elbow onto the dummy with his elbow, which sent it spiraling into the ground. He landed breathing heavy, and bent over to catch his breath. [8/20][3/10][3/10]
Deil sat down, and searched deep inside him for the 4th gate inside him. It was a hard thing to find, because the more gates you tried to open, the harder it became to find them without pure instinct. He tried churning the chakra in his system to look for the gate. He finally found it, a spot where the chakra slowed down and gained pressure. Assured that this was it, he went on looking for the 5th and final gate he would be training for. [9/20][3/10][3/10]
Deil began running around the arena, searching for the 5th gate. He needed to get his chakra going so that he could find the gate. When the chakra tried to rejuvenate him, he would be able to better feel where it was being slowed. He stopped after a while, and took off his 200 pound weights. He walked over to his bags, noting that Misuki was beginning dinner, and he pulled out 2 7 foot long chains. He wrapped the chains around his forearms, and made little knots to hold the chain in place, along with his bandages. [10/20][same][4/10]
Deil then began running again, this time running harder. He used the chakra to replenish his muscles, and flushed it around to try to find the gate. [11/20][same][5/10]
Deil released the first gate, and sprinted at blinding speed and used the primary lotus on a dummy. He kicked the dummy in the chin, and sent it flying, then jumped up and unhooked part of the chains. The wrapped around the dummy, and held it tight as he plummeted to the ground at high speeds, and slammed into the ground. [12/20][same][6/10]
Deil crawled out of the crater, and opened the second gate. He then used Body Regeneration to replenish his stamina, and then prepared to open the 3rd gate. [13/20][same][7/10]
Deil rushed up to a dune, and charged the chakra in his arm. He then hit the barrier with his fist moving at mach speed, and it blasted the dune into a giant plume of sand and dust. [14/20][4/4 Catastrophic Kai Punch Complete!][8/10]
Deil allowed the chakra to rush through him, blasting sand around him. He was boring a little hole in the sand so much was rushing out. [15/20][9/10]
Deil pushed the chakra as far as it would go at this rate, with it flowing out of him and pushing things away from him. He prepared his body and the 4th gate for a release for the first time. [16/20][10/10 6th gate conditioning complete]
Deil then released the 4th gate, a huge amount of chakra through him. It seemed impossible to control, like a wild beast running through him. [17/20]
Deil decided to run around the ring, sending up huge plumes of dirt and sand into the air and wearing deep trenches in the sand. He started pushing chakra against his 5th gate. [18/20]
Deil found a huge boulder in the sand, and ripped it out of the ground. He then slammed it on the hard ground, and set his body off a good distance from the rock, readying his body for this final go at his training. [19/20]
Deil released it, and his body ached all over as soon as it did. His muscles were convulsing in great heaves, and he decided he needed to get this over with quick. He exploded from his spot, suddenly appearing behind the rock and throwing it high in the air. He jumped up and smashed his fist into it, and then used the force to land and jump up and hit it from another direction. He did this five or six times before appearing above it, and smashing his foot into it. Great fissures appeared in it, and he lashed out with his chains to grab hold of it. ARGH! He screamed, pushing his body so far as he never had in his life. He then pulled the rock up with his chains, and then hit it with a big palm thrust and kick. The rock shattered into little pieces, and then Deil landed on the ground and the chakra seemed to left him. [20/20, 5 gates complete][4/4, hidden lotus complete]

[A roll of 5 with 5 gates open equals moderate muscle damage.] OH ****!!! Deil rolled across the ground, groaning in pain and stopped moving, his body hurting too bad to move. He felt his hamstrings, back muscles, and every other muscle it seemed burning and screaming at him. "Misuki!" He took two brief and shallow breaths, and called out again, "Misuki!" He rolled over on his back, lamenting in the sudden pains.

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninMisuki literally felt herself jump when she heard Deil scream, snapping her head to face the direction of his training location, Misuki watched as Deil pulled a large rock up from the ground with chains. ' Whoa, that's amazing.' Too surprised to look away, Misuki continue to watch wide eyed as Deil hit the rock with a plam thrust and kick, shattering it into a lot of little pieces. "Damn, that's one amazing move," Misuki muttered as she stood up believing that Deil was most likely finished. Misuki had looked away for only a minute before she heard Deil scream 'Holy ****!', Misuki immediately knew something was wrong and rushed over to Deil's bag and grabbed his water bottle before rushing over to his aid. As soon as she reached him, Misuki fell to her knees beside and immediately went to work. "Don't worry Deil-san, I'm going to began healing you now." Misuki quickly summoned out a kaze bunshin on the other side of Deil and the two of them quickly formed the handsigns for Shindan (Diagnose). Their hands glowed a pale crimson as they began assessing Deil's current situation. ' I would start immediately with Shiatsu(massage) but that'll be too risky, I'm not exactly sure how much damage his training could've done to his body.' After a quick scan, both Misuki's noticed that Deil suffered from slight muscle tearing and tired limbs. Quickly deciding to attempt two things at once, Misuki instructed her clone to began massage the sore limbs while she began healing the teared muscles. The clone nodded and swiftly formed the handsigns for Shiatsu while Misuki formed the handsigns for the Chiyute no Jutsu (Healing Hands: Minor). The clone's hands were surrounded in a light layer of pale crimson chakra as she began applying pressure at the sore areas to help ease the pain. For Misuki, a small ball of healing chakra began forming on her hands and she applied it on the area with the most damaged muscles first. "Hey Deil-san, I'm sorry that I won't be of much help at the moment. At my current level, my Chiyute no Jutsu is not yet strong enough to heal the teared muscle but I'll be able to ease the damage."

"That's fine!" He grunted, sounding a ungrateful, but really the jutsu were helping a lot. His muscles had stopped convulsing, but some of the pain was still there to pester him. He managed to sit up a little, and said, "Just give me a moment to gather myself. If I eat and rest, it won't be as bad." He reached over and relinquished the chains, reducing the weight of his arms by about 40 lbs, making movement easier. "Let me know...when you are done doing what you can." He looked into the eyes of the one he could only guess was the real one, not really knowing. "And thank you for coming, I don't know what...I would have done without you here." He laid back down, shutting his eyes against the pain that was still there nevertheless, which pained him with every movement.

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninMisuki blushed a bit at his comment but said nothing and continued to heal his injuries. When she was done, she sat upright and picked up the discarded water bottle. "Here, drink some water. I'll go bring over our lunches so you can eat. Then afterwards we can discuss our plans for the rest of the day."The real Misuki got up and went over to the cooking area to get the lunches. She stacked the two containers on top of one another on one hand and grabbed the pot of apple juice and a bag of utensils with another. When she reached the spot where Deil was currently laying down and resting with her clone, Misuki sat back down beside him and placed everything down. She first handed him a container filled with noodles and a pair of chopsticks, then she pulled out a cup and poured in some apple juice. She handed it over to her clone to hold while Deil ate. "Here, its not much but its better than bread I'm sure. Eat up."

Deil slurped up the noodles to enhance the flavor [they do that in Japan, and its not bad manners! smile ] And took a sip of the juice. It was warm like cider, and warmed him up in a good way on the inside. "Hmm, it sure is. Thank you for the meal." He ate slowly, trying to savor it and also because it hurt even to eat, but the pain was definitely less than it was, and so he was able to hide his pain. He had no intentions of milking this and abusing Misuki's hospitality. "So, did you get the training done that you needed for the exams?" he asked.
