Melody screamed as the huge lion pounced at her. It clawed at her, leaving a deep gash on her forehead and both arms. Not to mention many other deep cuts on the rest of her body. She escaped the lion and dove for the pine tree. she somehow reached it, and the lion roared, then ran away. Melody sighed. I made it, she thought, right before she passed out.
