Hi! In case you haven't read the first post, congratulation to Divash: the new crew member in the JGG! Not that this was really any surprise, as since she first joined she's been a candidate for the spot if we needed it. She's full of information on everything, especially Judaism, and is always willing to help the rest of us learn! Besides that, she's always kind to all guild members, accepting of everybody no matter what their beliefs, and tries to help keep the peace around here. And she consistently has proper grammar and spelling, too! blaugh
Congratulations for getting a position most deserved! 3nodding

I've been meaning to do this for a while, but I kept forgetting- if anybody has noticed, Divash has now been upgraded to Vice Captain. I cannot possibly think of anybody more deserving to be a moderator in this guild, and not only is she a great source of information, but equally polite and kind. Mazel tov to her, and please make sure to thank her for all the work she puts into her posts and mod duties to make this guild a better place!

This is an extremely random and rather unpredicted announcement, but after thinking about it for a bit, I realize that I cannot put forth the time and effort to moderate this guild completely, and Divash can't do everything as well. Thus, we really needed another crew member, preferably active, but most importantly, able to make good judgment calls, as we've had some pretty inflammatory threads the past few months.
Thus, please welcome LordNeuf as the new crew! His sense of humor can pretty much always diffuse an argument, his wide experiences in life give him a wide knowledge base, but he still has his own opinions and views on Judaism that just make him so unique. He's been an invaluable member of the guild, and I feel he would be a great addition to the crew as well.
Mazel tov to him!

Hey, just wanted to let everybody know that I hereby relinquish my title as captain to Divash and am stepping down to vice-captain. Especially with the craziness of college, things have been and are getting so hectic that I have little time to browse through every thread in the forum to look out for mistakes, and frankly, I don't want to. Life outside of Gaia has gotten too chaotic to the point where I don't have enough room to deal with all the responsibilities of being captain that I had so.....
Mazel tov to Divash!
It comes as no surprise that Divash is now in charge- I can think of nobody more suited for the role. She's incredibly knowledgeable, kind, polite, mature, and just generally a good person. You all know this and her by now.
I'm not quitting Gaia completely, and I'll still be around when I can to post or do other modly duties, but Divash's word is now law. Please continue to be the people who have made this guild so awesome, and thank you for some great memories.
