"If you really want." grumbled Gorum.

"Oi, girl, we never said we didn't want you around," Throngar told her in a slightly friendlier tone of voice. He'd ignored his brother just now anyway. "We're just pointing out s**t. You elves! Sometimes you really need a thicker skin. I think I prefer you when you're drunk."

"Ah phooey... you guys decide what to do, just tell me when you wanna kill somethin' big and scaly." He said, wandering off back to his own camp "I'll be sleeping in the hay in the back of the wagon, Throngar. Just set off wherever you guys go without waking me up. Night everyone." With this, Gorum headed off into the trees. Eventually he got back to camp and walked towards the wagon, which had it's back to the large fire. He threw his battleaxe into the wagon and flopped down in the hay, quickly drifting into a loudly snoring slumber. "Nug-runners..."

"I think I'd be able to stand you lot if I were drunk too." Jinx muttered under her breath. She never really understood dwarves, she was never around them enough to know how they act. She always just stayed away from them in her guild hall, she never liked the way they smelled, always had the stench of stale ale on them it made her gag, even tho the smell of death never bothered her.

"Oh yes, he really is much easier to deal with when drunk," another voice, the one which had spoken originally when Throngar had arrived, piped up. "Going on what I've been told, anyway; I wouldn't know myself."
Throngar's eyes flicked upwards. "Shut it," he growled.

At this point, Jinx was getting fed up with all this nonsense, "Show yourself," she demanded.

"How rude!" the voice contended in a hurt tone. "I'm right here, thank you very much!"
Throngar sighed, rolling his eyes a bit, then stuck a finger up towards the pointed wizard hat on his head. "Bane of my life," he told Jinx gruffly. "If you ever swtich to Magecraft, promise me one thing, girl: never, ever enchant a hat to talk. After this chatterbox I'm going to despise them for life, and probably a good chunk of my death too."
"How do you do," the garment in question introduced itself, sounding a bit smug at being considered such an annoyance.

Jinx faked a smile and bowed playfully. "Pleasure to meet you." she said. "The name's Jinx"

"Alcharius," the hat replied. "It means 'most wise one', you know."
"I prefer to translate it as 'egghead who won't shut the hell up'," Throngar grunted, rolling his eyes. "The name's Throngar, by the way. Throngar Balor. That psycho with the ginger hair and body odour just now was my twin brother Gorum. He's a Berserker, I'm a Mage. And you're... what, a Rogue? Most Rangers have more common sense in their choice of clothes than you."

"If you must know," she said with a sigh, "I live and breath death and shadows. I am an assassin, I'd watch your back around me if I were you." she said with a playful laugh.

"... lovely sentiment," Throngar replied sarcastically, though he did seem somewhat amused as well. "What race are you, then? You're obviously an elf, but which out of them? Black elf? Wood elf perhaps?"

Jinx was surprised that he couldn't tell the elven races apart. "I am a Light Elf." she informed him. She smiled lightly.

Throngar raised an eyebrow in surprise. "With that hair?" he exclaimed a little. "I thought you White elves to be lighter than that... eh, well, guess you'll always get exceptions."
"Actually," Alcharius the hat interjected, "Hair like Miss Jinx's occurs at a rate of about 30% in White elf populations. It's not as uncommon as everyone thinks."
Throngar gave his hat a rather flat stare. "... yeah, well, shut it." He glanced at their surroundings. "So, this your camp, Jinx?" he asked her.

"Will you leave my hair out of this, it didn't do anything to you!" she exclaimed, "And yes, this is my camp..well it was before all these guys were piled here." she looked at the blood covered ground and kicked one of the bodies.

Throngar rolled his eyes. "Women and their hair..." he commented with a mutter, then wandered over a bit closer to the carnage too. "Yeah, is in a bit of a state..." he grunted by way of agreement with Jinx's second statement. "Want to come back up to our camp for the night? Gorum snores like a boar but he sleeps outside, so I can cast a silence spell on the tent if you like."
"... but you snore too," Alcharius pointed out unhelpfully.
Throngar just glared up at him yet again.
