Nagisa and Yongnian Legend: Yongnian (Nyx) is dark blue text | Nagisa (me) is light blue text Log 1 Yongnian stood surveying the world around him. Things seemed so lifeless, unconnected since he had left his home to wander. He watched as a leaf fell to the ground, even that leaf had purpose where he--Yongnian had none.
Nagisa floated down slowly, landing on the ground without making a sound. Her children were growing up, and they felt they no longer needed her ever-loving gaze following their every move.
'I feel so useless now and all alone,' and she was completely alone. Secluded by her choice to move away from Japan, from her home. It was the only place she had ever known before, and most of her friends and family were unsure that she would have been able to make it on her own.
So she had done the unthinkable. Nagisa had picked up her things and moved to the Valley. 'Maybe I should go visit them, or maybe they will come here and be with me again,' she sighed softly.
She then noticed that she was not as alone here as she had first thought. A young man was standing with his back to her. 'He must be lost in his own thoughts to have not noticed me yet. Maybe I should just leave him that way,' she thought, turning to walk away, 'But, maybe he's more than just lost in his thoughts. Maybe he's really lost and needs help finding his way home. I know that if I were lost, I'd really like for somebody to help me out.'
Nagisa gathered up her strength and tapped the young man on his shoulder, "Hello there, are you lost? Maybe I can help you out somehow?" She smiled gently, awaiting his response.
Yonnigan was startled for a half a second, he had been so deep in thought that he had not noticed someone coming. He turned towards her and assessed her for a moment. She had touched him so he could feel the tiny threads of connection sifting from her off into different directions, to different paths she had both taken and not taken.
He paused a moment before answering her question. It was one that took a lot of consideration. "Lost...Well, that's a difficult question to answer, milady." He bowed his head slightly in reverence to her. "I am lost in many ways. I do not know where I am going or when I intend to get there, but my sense of purpose drives me toward it. Can one really be lost when they are just wandering? It's a difficult question to answer. Maybe what's important is that now I am found."
"Umm," Nagisa blushed brightly, "Well, since you don't really have a specific destination, I think you're right that you can't really be lost."
Her heart was fluttering, a feeling that she had not experienced in quite some time. 'I don't think I've been this flustered since I left home and Tomoya...'
"So," she shook her head softly, clearing her thoughts, "Why are you wandering around?"
Yongnian smiled at her, watching the blush ripple across her face. He remembered another face, another blush...one for reasons he found all together unpleasant. He banished the thoughts from his mind. Arwen was gone, she was with someone else.
He tilted his head. "I'm wandering trying to find purpose. I'm in self-exile." He shut his eyes for a moment, then continued on a bit hesitatingly. "I have always lacked a certain connection with others. I've always been able to trace it in other ponies, in other events but myself. I find myself alone, no strings of connection no matter how hard I forge them."
'How sad...'
"I'm so sorry." A tear formed on Nagisa's cheek, she yearned to run over and hug this poor man. But she managed to get a grip on her emotions, "I know how you feel. I'm very far away from all my family, and at times its very hard to keep myself from feeling so alone."
"I.." she moved close, trying to fight her urge to hold him, "I think maybe we might be able to find peace together."
She blushed again. This time much more lightly, "If.. if you don't mind."

Kelypso and Ty'Athalae Legend: Kelypso (Bardess) is green text | Ty'Athalae (me) is black text Log 1 Her little ones off doing their own things, and Nightfire had gone off and who knows where he was. She missed his kisses but... even after all this time...she still hardly knew him. The loss was not much. Now Kelypso was just swimming along looking for some one to do her daily good deed for.
Ty'Athalae was searching frantically. Aegis, her younger brother, had gone missing, and she knew that if Dryll found out about it, he would panic.
'He is sooo totally going to kill me!' she thought, while looking in a small cave, 'Damn, not there.'
"Aegis, Where the hell are you?" she called out, "You know damn good and well that Dryll is going to kill both of us if we don't make it home by curfew."
Which was something, Ty thought was completely lame, 'I can't believe we still have curfews. I mean we're freaking teenagers already. We can easily take care of ourselves now.'
While lost in her thoughts, Ty wasn't paying attention and bumped into a strange woman, "Oh I am totally sorry dude. I so did not mean to do that."
"Ah, not a problem in the least. You seem to be in some distress, could I help?" she asked.
"Umm, yeah," Ty was a little leery of the woman swimming in front of her. This woman was unlike any other that she had ever seen; it was almost as if she were a jumbled up mess of many things.
"Um. My little brother ran off, and its starting to get late. If we aren't home in time, our uncle will have our hides," Ty rambled on a bit, "So umm, yeah. Have you seen him?"
'A description might help,' she thought for a moment, "He's really pale-skinned and has bright white hair."
Kelypso flared her wings some, to help her keep her balance.
"I'd be happy to help. Pale skinned male, white hair, what kind of pony is he?"
Ty giggled softly, 'Maybe this woman's sea-legs are a bit too rusty to be much help. But some help is better than none.'
"Umm.." she thought for a moment, "You know I never really thought about that. He doesn't have any legs at all, if that helps you get an idea."
"I think I've seen some like that. At least that means we only have to look in the water, right?" she asked.
She glanced around, as if he would just materialize, while she waited for an answer.
"Yup," Ty nodded, "I have never seen him anywhere else. Well, unless you count that time that Malina dragged him around in his shell on the beach."
"Oh, you would have loved it," she couldn't help but to start giggling, "Malina had a hold of the shell base and was tugging it around. Aegis was bawling, and Uncle Dryll was yelling at everything."
Ty paused, once again realizing her brother was missing, "Umm.. do you know any places around here that he could hide in? Because, like, I've searched everywhere."
"There are some underwater caves not too terribly far from here," she said, hesitantly.
She glanced around then sighed.
"I couldn't fit into them," she mumbled finally, embarrassed.
"Don't worry, I bet I can," Ty beamed, "You just show me the way there, and when we get there, I'll need ya to keep a look out just in case something decides to start trouble."
She nodded. "Down this way!" she dived down deep, pulling her wings tight to herself, cutting though the water. She angled the back of her wings, making a sharper point of her front as she powered her way through. She came to the caves, and unfurled her wings, having them act as underwater breaks. She kept herself level there, waiting.
"Okay." Ty followed Kelypso, making sure to keep far enough behind to not slam into her again. "I'm gonna take a peek inside real quick."
She headed into the mouth of the cave before turning back, "If I scream, run for help okay?"
"Swim for help if you scream, got it. I do hope that won't be necessary though..."
"I doubt it, but just in case." Ty swam off into the cave.
'Its so dark back there. Aegis would be scared stiff to go too far in...' she thought, 'But it can't hurt to check. Just in case.'
Her adventurous nature was getting the best of her. Ty was unable to convince herself to leave the cave, and it was starting to get darker the deeper she went.
"Gosh. Whoever thought a cave could get so dark. I can hardly see anything at all." She decided to call out again, "Aegis, Are you back here somewh- Oof"
For a brief moment, she had decided to lean against the rock wall which had, at the same moment, decided it no longer wanted to stand up, and so, it gave way shortly after revealing a much larger and more complex system of caves.
"Hey. Hey you back there!" She called out to the mysterious woman waiting at the entrance, "There is some kind of huge opening back here. See if you can find the way in from up above."
