The weekend. Okay. Wasn't like weekends were special to her or anything. It usually just meant that the food options were more diverse. "Alright. Meet you here next weekend, then." Where else could they meet? Certainly nowhere else existed. Taking one last look around to make sure she didn't forget anything, she moved towards the front entrance...but before she exited completely, she stopped and looked back at him. She stared at him for a moment, her expression a mixture of pity and frustration.
"Don't...give up. If you want to be human, we'll find a way...I'll...help you." She said in a bit of a mutter, not really wanting to let on that his hopelessness affected her in any way, shape or form...or that she cared just enough to want to help him like he seemed to want to help her. With a bit of a wave she took off, running as full speed back home, still clinging to her notebook and pen.

"Alright, sounds good. Thanks for your help tonight," Izaak said reverting to his usual cheerful nature and watched her for a few moments. He let her exit first so he didn't have to see where she went to go rest. He wanted to try and respect her privacy for whatever reason he had. Izaak was just a little strange for whatever reason.
The smile faltered a bit, but not in a bad way, even his eyes opened a bit in surprise. Izaak nodded as he let her go. When she seemed to be safely out of the radius he started to exit and then on his way home.
