Chase smiled and removed his hand from Karin's shoulder. "Karin..." He repeated to himself. "Well it was a pleasure to meet you, Karin. I hope we'll meet again. You're one of few people who have actually endured a conversation with me." He told her, smiling happily. He was glad he had met Karin. Since he was an angel, He would hide when he had to, but still watch over her. He would appear when she needed help, and at other times as well so she wouldn't discover his secret.

Karin blinked at him to why she was one of the few people to talk to him. She did't think there was anything wrong with him. If she had ran away from him it would seem like she was hypocrit since she didn't want people to run from her because of her eye patch. "I'm sure we will sometime," she said to him. She started to turn her body, "Well your the first not to run away because of my eye patch. Thank you for doing that," she said softly before turning her back to him and entering the office going around to behind the counter where she worked. She held the smile on her face as the girls around her smirk, "So what did miss Karin do before she came in," they interogated her. Karin blushed as she sat down in her seat, "I just talked to someone," she mumbled as her blush came once more.

Chase hid behind the building and Let his wings out. He used his powers to hide from humans, as all guardian angels were able to do so they could better protect their chosen humans. He then walked into the building and sat on the counter, watching Karin. He knew she couldn't see or hear him, but She was as clear as day to him. He wanted to reach out and touch her, but then she would know he was there. He consented to watching her work, as he doubted she would need his help in this place.

"Oh?! Was it boy," they asked. Karin nodded at them as she was blushing from the interogation they were giving her. "Whats his name?! Where did he come from? Whats his job!" they asked her. Karin closed her eyes not wanting to answer the questions since she didn't know. "I don't know. Please stop asking me," she mumbled as she opened her eyes. Karin was alphabitizing the notes from the doctors as she looked down.

Chase began to chuckle. The girls around Karin were asking her funny questions, and she seemed to be blushing at them. It seemed that Chase would have an interesting day, watching over her.

"Come on Karin! Have some more confidence in yourself he maybe a suitor," they said to her. Karin shook her head saying she didn't think Chase like that. She kept her eyes down on the papers she was organizing.

Chase chuckled lightly. "If only you knew I could see and hear you now..." He said, enjoying the conversation the girls were having. In truth, he liked Karin more than he had like any of the previous girls he had guarded.

"No. I have to worry about my father and us keeping the rent for the apartment," she said before standing up to go to the filling cabinets with her papers she held. She shook her head as she walked down the hall way

Chase walked down the hall after Karin, watching her closely. "So her family isn't doing well...Maybe I could find a way to help them..." He said out loud, since nobody could hear him. "I want Her to be both happy and safe, so I'll figure something out..." He continued as he followed Karin.

Karin opened a filling cabinet and placed the documents in according to where they belonged. The guy that had wanted her to go out with her on date came by, "So Karin. How about today?" he asked her. She shook her head, "No thank you. I'm really busy," she said softly and kindly. She really didn't want to go anywhere with him and cared more about her family than anythign else.

Chase watched as the guy tried to ask Karin on a date, and he laughed. He had failed miserably, but Chase also saw something else. This man wasn't one for giving up. It also seemed to him that he wouldn't accept no as an answer. This man could be a threat to Karin. He would have to keep a close eye on that man in order to keep her safe.

Karin finished filling and was about to head back until he grabbed her wrist. "Would it kill you to stop working for a bit?" he asked her. She shooked her head, "Just leave me alone. Every day you ask me for a date and I say the exact same answer. Just leave me alone," she said as she pulled her wrist away. Karin walked back to her desk slightly annoyed with the guy trying to get her on a date.

Chase Frowned at the man, and made it so he tripped when he tried to walk after Karin. Chase laughed lightly and then followed her back to her desk, where the girls were. So far, nothing particularly dangerous had happened, and Chase seemed to have lucked out. Most people he protected had disasters daily.

Karin sighed softly as she sat down as she started the computer as she began to start her computer so those who came in she could check them in. Karin wasn't really impressed with this job she had but hey what ever brought in the money made her happy.

Chase sat on the desk next to Karin, watching her work. She had a certain Aura about her he couldn't explain. He felt something stir in his stomach, and he felt strange. He didn't know what this feeling was, but he didn't care at the oment. His job was to guard Karin, and not worry about himself.
