As Tsukiko was trying to prevent the boy from going off without following her rules first, Kei could barely make out what the two were saying. Sure, they taught english at her school, but it wasn't really like she ever really had wanted to learn the language. She did hear the boy say something, and she could make out words like honor and loyalty… then the words Japanese and Pearl Harbor. Something about his tone of voice and the way he looked at her gave Kei the hints that it was an insult directed at her. She switched her weapons, her shinai dropping to the ground forgotten. Forgetting how much she hated violence, pride took over as she charged at the boy, quite angry at him now. "You b*****d! I don't care who or what you are, but you have no right to tell me that we are not loyal or have any honor. It's you who does not have any honor, you dog of the military! Did America, your homeland, have any remorse for our civilians when you burned our houses to the ground in your fire bomb raids or when you killed thousands with your atomic bombs? What about your fights in Vietnam? Did you have any sense of guilt over how many innocent lives your great and superior country has destroyed? What right do you have to call my country anything less than yours! I won't forgive you for this!" Kei yelled at the boy, whacking him fiercely with her bokuto and kicking him when she could. She swung her wooden sword with all her might, not caring if she hurt him or not. At the moment, she actually would have liked to do some good damage to the boy; it would do wonders to her rage right now.
