Carina had not been too happy about loosing her perch nor about her father wandering off and leaving her in the familiar but strange place. There were no returns, he had to come back for her. Of course having Purple close again, if briefly, had been nice though now that he was bouncing all over the room she wanted to catch him and hold him still. Carina was also startled by the blue haired woman's transformation. The redheaded toddler fiddled with her for head nobs as she tried to deice how she felt about this.

"Do you have a tea set?" Tea and little sandwiches was the only snack Carina really knew and something familiar would make this crazy and confusing situation better. Taking food or drinks from the weird two voiced person seemed perfectly fine to her though how anyone could eat with all the grey blobs bouncing around she didn't know.

The little smoke creature first licked Greloren's face before holding up the disc to use its power to make the half-elf leave Ryan here and go deliver this little box to a person.

Ryan sniffled, clinging tighter to his guardian's leg. There were too many people here! He didn't want the man to leave him! Finally, the toddler was pried off and the man made a quick escape, leaving Ryan to cry it out in the middle of the floor.

The bumpy boy ignored the robed figure. He didn't want a snack. He wanted his daddy and that was it! And where had the nice lady with the blue hair gone?! That was the last straw. Ryan took one deep breath before going into tantrum mode. "I. WAN'. DADDY!!!" The boy wailed, flopping himself into the floor to kick and scream and sob, magically all at once.

It was hard to tell which emotion showed more strongly upon the face of the pink haired boy when he found himself getting put down. He starred up at his parents, eyes rather wide. They were... leaving him? His parents were leaving him in this place with all of these strangers just because that woman told them to? He found himself more then a little confused and very frightened... they were just going to leave even though be begged them to bring him along?

His eyes took on a watery look to them as his foggy lower half gave way and he plopped down where he was placed and watched his parents as they moved off to deliver the strange gifts that they were carrying. He blinked a couple times then as he heard another child that was left behind start to cry his own tears spilled over. As his tears leaked down his face his body faded away from sight. Even the closeness of his brother wasn't making up for the fact that their parents were leaving them here.

Jiang looked up at Deimos as the boy faded away then looked up at Reu, looking a little uncertain. He had to separate from Reu and bring this gift to someone that he didn't know. He looked at the box that he was supposed to deliver before he hugged it to his chest, tail swishing behind him, ears laying back, "Ahhh... Yes, I should be alright." He said quietly, "We should get going, the sooner the best right?" The sooner they got this task done the sooner they would be able to pick up the boys and go home, the kirin was worrying that they had left the stove on when they left among many other worries. He and Deimos seemed a perfect match given both seemed to worry over every little thing.

Oh no! Homeless children? That was just awful! If Xai hadn't already agreed to help then she definitely would've now! That would be so sad if there were children with no parents, how would they survive? Evari looked up at Switch when she said they had important matters to discuss, gasping. Whoooa really? Awesome! Important stuff was like cookies and stuff, right? Those were the only things important in the world. That and toys.

Both blue-haired girls watched the smoky things separate and flit about the room, each girl looking in a different direction following a different psycho. Xai blinked as one of them flew over to her and held her hand out for the little box it was holding. Oh? She wondered what was in it for but a moment before the little swaying pendant caught her eye, following it with her eyes. Of course she would leave Evari behind and go give this box to its intended recipient!

"You be good, Evari." Xai pat the girl's head and left without another word. Evari watched her leave, shrugging and then looking around to find Faris was coming closer. The glowing child grinned and hurried over to her friend to throw her arms around her in a big hug, holding herself up and letting Faris hold all her weight while she watched Switch disappear and reappear as some weird robe thing.

...Now that was awesome. Evari didn't care that Switch just disappeared and reappeared, and she didn't care whether or not she could do that before or if it really was her, all that mattered was this person did something cool. And they were offering snacks! "Mememe! Meeeeee! I wanna snaaaaaaaack!" Evari called out and waved her arm at the strange figure person thing, a huge grin on her face. She then looked around to check out the other kids until she heard someone crying, her attention immediately focused on Ryan. He was crying again? Awww! But why? She squeezed Faris and then let go of her to wander over to the boy throwing a tantrum on the floor, standing over him for one...two...five seconds and then finally just flopping down on top of him. Wheeeeeeee! "Ryyyyyyyyyy'n!" She clearly didn't learn from last time that this boy does not like her.

Both Ophelia and Morpheus were solemn faced at the mention of children being parentless, it touched close to their hearts. If either of them had doubts about helping before they where swiftly swept away. Ophelia held back a sigh when it became clear that Morpheus would be coming with her, she had been hoping to leave him behind but she knew that it had been a slim chance – she’d just have to ditch him in the car when they got there. She smiled politely ignoring the exuberance of the critters as they bounced around and accepted the box from Nom-Nom, letting him hypnotise her so she could get the exact address.

Morpheus watched as Ophelia took the present, just waiting for that thing to try something again when his eye got caught on the disk it was holding. The instructions Ophelia had given him before seemed to flee his minds as all of a sudden he had the urge to put Pilot down and follow Ophelia, so he did just that telling Pilot to be good.

Pilot just looked around in confusion at what was going on and then slight panic as he watched Mom and Uncle Morph leave. They’d never left him alone at home, let alone in some strange shop! Getting a deer in headlights look on his face he huddled closer to the clump of children, safety in number and all that. Pilot shook his head when the robed figure – and that was kinda weird, but he’d see meta-mor-whatits on TV before – asked if anyone wanted a snack. When the grey things all went berserk around the room at the mention of food he jumped slightly before huddling into himself a bit, briefly glancing concerned at the crying kids.

Switch was sitting on her couch, still clutching Tek to her chest with her green eyes on the little smokey blob of pure energy. Well...it was increasingly less energy and more sleepy, which started to come around when it complained about being hungry. Switch refused to feed it, and after throwing a pleading fit it rolled onto its back, it's tongue hanging so far out of its mouth that it covered that one giant eye it possessed.

It might have seemed dead, but...it was snoring. Loudly. Occasionally it would snort itself awake, hit itself in the eye with its own tongue, mumble something about food, then pass right back out. Definitely not dead, but still.

Damn these things were weird.

The longer the robed figure and Kay stayed missing, the more nervous Switch became until, eventually, she threw a pillow at the creature, startling it awake.

"snrrrrrkehhuhwhatHII'mhungryfeedme" It called out, rolling back onto its 'belly', the tongue still hanging out of its mouth.

"Can you open the door for me, if I agree to feed you?" She questioned the creature, whose eye seemed to get remarkably bigger. With a shrill screech it spazzed around, then went crashing headfirst through the front door. The locks seemed to disappear, and Switch was quick to get to her feet, taking the blanket on the couch to wrap around her infant son. Making sure the smoke creature didn't have time to change its (admittedly small) mind, she left the house and headed to the shop as fast as she dared with Tek sleeping in her arms.

+++

Kay had watched until the last of the Guardians left...and with a side glance at the Robed Figure, he hugged the gift box to his chest, also turning to leave the shop itself. He had a job to do, apparently...

The robed figure looked around at all the toddlers that were left in its care. It conveniently overlooked the question about who it was, and instead put it's attention onto the little Etch a Sketch girl who asked about a tea set. There was nearly a response from the hooded figure...but then the boy with bumps on his skin faceplanted and threw a tantrum...and that glowing girl flopped on him. What had been a relatively quiet room became a madhouse, and the figure wasn't sure how to react.

"WEWANTFOODSNACKSYAYNOWNOWNOW" All of the Nutbars shrieked at once, continuing to bounce around the room. This time, they passed through the children like they had times before, but only one nutbar passed through one child, and when they left, something felt...off. Like they were missing something. Even Deimos, who had been invisible up until now, reappeared!

"...Oh my." The figure said quietly to itself. "This...is not how it goes." It continued to murmur, hidden eyes looking from one child to the next. It jumped when the shop door was thrown open, the hodded head snapping over to watch as Switch, the true Switch, entered the shop, a wide eyed and bewildered look on her face.

"What the...?!" She gasped out, going back to holding onto Tek with both hands as opposed to the one. "...What are you doing to them? Get out now." Her angry green gaze was focused on the hooded figure, the same one who had previously put her under house arrest.

Surprisingly, the figure nodded its head once, took a step back...and faded until it disappeared. "With pleasure. This is your mess now...Tah!" Switch, on instinct alone, closed the door to the shop and stepped into the room, heading straight for the crying Ryan. After peeling Evari off of him (how she managed to do so, she had no idea), she rested her hand on the wailing boy's back. She couldn't leave the children until their Guardians returned...and why weren't the Guardians here! ...Wait...where was Kay...?

The Nutbars, sensing their 'Master' gone, went absolutely insane. They had no orders! There was nothing telling them what to do! OH GOD WHAT SHOULD THEY DO NOW?! In a total panic, they bounced off of this, that and the other thing; once more they plunged the room into chaos. However...this time they did not go through objects. If they hit it, they hit it. If it could be knocked over, it did. It gave the blue haired woman an idea.

"Help me catch them!" Switch called out, hoping the children would understand what she meant. These nutbar things would have an idea of where the Guardians and Kay went, right?

She hoped, anyway.

(( Mini Game #1!: When you post, your child has two options. One, they can do nothing where they sit there and cry. Two, they try to catch a nutbar! If they try to catch one, please roll a 10 sided dice; even numbers mean the nutbar was caught, odd numbers means it failed, and you'll have to repost until you get an even number! How the child catches them, or tries to catch them, is entirely up to you! You even get to play them if you want. Lucky you!

Remember: They get bored easily, and they seem to LOVE food and/or chewing on things. Also, they're not too bright...

What I suggest you do if you try to catch one: Hit 'Reply', select the 10 sided dice and put a reserved blurb in the post. Edit your post in depending on what the dice say! If you get an odd number, just post your child making their failed attempt, and redo this until you get an even number.

If your kid opts OUT of catching a nutbar...well...nothing happens. Maybe.

An awful lot was going on in the shop and it was starting to seriously confuse Carina. What had happened to snacks and tea? Why was the blue haired lady back, why was she shouting, who was crying and how come she felt a bit weird now? To the former Etch-a-sketch toddler nothing made sense and having been living in a fairly stable environment at home she wasn't sure what to make of this. Carina fretfully twisted the nobs on her forehead, letting inky black lines appear on her grey skin as she tried to figure out what she wanted to do.

Catch the Purple clones! The redhead could do that and then she'd have her Purple back. "Purple, you come back now or else" Carina ordered in her best 'I am in charge' voice mimicked from her father's. The pink eyed girl was less than pleased when none of the swarm of rapidly moving grey blobs slowed in their destructive rampage or paid her any attention.

Bribery ran in Carina's family, well as much as it could given that the girl was not actually blood related to her father and brother. Still, she understood the concept and had seen it work wonders in the past. The small redheaded toddler would much prefer Purple to just come when called but she'd resort to promising the crazy hypno creature something if it meant he'd come back to her. "Purple. There will be tea and cake if you come back Purple." She paused "and we can have another bath and you can play with bubbles." There that should be sufficient bribery , at least as far as the small girl was concerned it was.

Purple had been decidedly not paying attention to the bossy girl who wasn't supposed to give orders, even if he had listened to them before. Cake! Oh Cake was good cake was was fooooood. With an excited squeal consisting of half finished jabbered thoughts the nutbarthing bounced it's way haphazardly back to the girl. "I'mboredcanwego?" The nutbar thing gazed up at the curio it's single eye managing a good impression of a pleading puppy dog.

Ryan's tantrum had been starting to gear up to fullswing when Evari jumped onto his back. Instantly, the tantrum was kicked up several gears with the bumpy boy now screaming bloody murder while trying to get his crazy 'friend' off of him. "OFFOFFOFFOFFOFF!!" He screamed. The boy hardly noticed one of the nutbars going right through him

Then... his savior appeared in the form of Switch. Evari was peeled off of him, which made Ryan's tantrum pause for a moment as he looked up to see what was going on. When he spotted Switch, he scrambled up, clinging to the nearest part of the woman's body. Still crying, yet no longer screaming, he buried his head into the woman.

Wynn looked pleased, floating up and seeing if he could spot one of "his" pair amidst the chaos. How the boy was able to identify one nutbar from another was anyone's guess, but he did manage to spot the first of the two he'd set free in his own home.

Quickly, the pink boy dived into action - literally. He pounced the critter as it went by, hugging it to him. "Don't go away again or I can't give you no more marshmallows." Wynn pointed out with a pout.

Faris naturally hugged Evari back and even supported the glowing girl's weight with no real issue; Faris was far heavier and was able to take on the weight for the moment until Evari flitted off to attend to the sudden crying and fitting bumpy toddler nearby. It was chaos and it sort of hurt the little Gargoyle's ears and for once she found she wasn't all that hungry because she felt a little stressed. She flapped her wings a bit and puffed out her cheeks in consternation at the fact that her question was ignored. Any favor the figure had gained with the Gargoyle was slowly getting lost food or no food.

Then more things happened. Faris put her small hands on her hips and watched the Real Switch take charge and apparently make the weird person go away. That was odd. Wahh so many weird things going on at once and Faris was slowly losing her patience with the whole ordeal. After a moment Faris glanced around at the other children and found herself a little at a loss at what to do and who to stick to and so she stuck to who she knew and that was Evari and wandered closer to Switch as she tried to pry the glowing girl off, "'Varrii~, help me catch one of the crazy thingies?"

Yep, the fact that the Critters were going insane hadn't gotten past the small girl and she even tried to catch which one was hers. But really? It was doubtful that she would get her own Critter back. Still it might help to restore order...

"Critterrr~?" She dared not to offer food yet. Alas the nutbarthings were busily ignoring her or being caught. Blast maybe another try...

Urgh! It was annoying when not even Critter listened to her. She waved her arms, "Critter~, if you come back I'll let you chew on Mama's umbrella...Just don't tell her abou' it~!"

Again she was ignored or just not heard amongst the chaos. Faris puffed out her cheeks and glowered.

"Critter! Please come back I misses youu~." She tried to appeal to her nutbar's affection but really that was quite pointless for they only seem to feel three things: hunger, boredom, and insanity. When no response came she huffed and crouched and waited for a few moments as her fingertips drew invisible things onto the floor.

Get off? Why would she get off? This boy needed to learn that Evari was a lot of fun, last time he didn't play with her right! Faris loved her! Kay was fun! Why wasn't this boy? Hmph! Before she knew it Switch--wait what wasn't Switch over there?--threw the door open and chased off the really cool robed person, and in her surprise Evari was easily moved. Evari blinked and sat on the floor, staring at Switch, then at Ryan...and then the smokey ghost thingers starting going even crazier if such a thing was possible. A huge grin spread across Evari's lips and she stood, hopping around with her arms raised. Ooh even Switch wanted them to catch these things! Awesome!

"YES~!" She cheered, nodding enthusiastically at Faris' question to help catch the crazies. She wanted to catch these things and play with them, they'd managed it before! But how do you catch these things? As Evari thought the question one of them slammed into her chest and she gasped, scrambling to grab ahold of it and holding it tightly in her hands. She grinned at it. This was easy! "Gotcha! Heeeeeeee~." It was hers now yaaaaay!

The critter she had caught had been the one that was at her house and it stared at her with what could only be a look of horror. "NONONOLETGOAIEEEEEEEEEEE!" It screeched, wriggling around in Evari's hands.

"Uhuh! Yer MINE~!" Evari giggled as the critter began to shriek and squirm, gnawing at her hands in an attempt to pry her off but to no avail, she didn't seem to care. The little glowing girl around for Faris until she spotted her and then hurried over to the very bored, frustrated little gargoyle, holding her hands out with pure pride. "Looklook, 'Ris! I goddit!" Wasn't she proud?!
