OUCH. x.x XD
YES!! It did me too at the very beginning, but I got by the end of chapter one. I'm actually kinda surprised they've gotten it to work they way they have, haha Never in my Life have I thought the characters could be changed and used in the way they are But, I like the game plot. Haha

Wow, so two of my favorites have already been covered. American McGee's Alice, Phoebe in Wonderland... There's also a manga called Bizenghast. It's author was inspired to write it because of Alice and similar themes are explored. Also, there is a movie coming out within the next year or two called Sucker Punch. It's by the guy who made Watchmen. Its tagline is "Alice in Wonderland with machine guns." A girl's stepfather has a lobotomy performed on her and puts her in a mental institute. He then wants to come get her and well... do horrible things to her. She wants to escape, so she and the other patients go into a sort of alternate reality. For her to get out, she has to find five objects. The lead is played by Emily Browning as of now, but may change. Also, Coraline is very similar. One of my very favorite things is the Marilyn Manson CD Eat Me, Drink Me. Very much Alice related. Then the video "All That I've Got" from the band The Used seems very Alice-like. My favorite film version is the one with Tina Majorino, Whoopi Goldberg, Miranda Richardson and Gene Wilder. It includes bits of Looking Glass too. The SyFy reimagining is my second favorite. Everyone should definitely check out Jan Svankmajer's Neco z Alenky (Alice). It's disturbing but worth watching.

I know the upcoming movie is a horribly predictable and unoriginal submission to this topic, but I have to admit I'm actually hoping Gaia has some kind of deal with the movie to advertise. I mean, with Coraline there was a whole new world for us to explore, wouldn't that be fabulous if Gaia did something like that with the upcoming movie?

I was thinking about that, with all the movie sponsor stuff Gaia does, perhaps we'll get something to do with AiW? Maybe some items too. Edit - It is confirmed. Alice in Wonderland is Gaia's next sponsorship.

Argh! I want to play American's McGee's Alice so bad! But I can't find it ANYWHERE! D8
And there's quite a few Alice in Wonderland movies/musicals/ballets hanging about. I only have four versions as of this moment, but one of them (which I definitely got at the Dollar Store for--guess it now--a dollar) had Fiona Fullerton as Alice, who, if you don't recognize the name, became a Bond girl later on in life.
I was Christmas shopping with one of my best friends and I saw Pheobe in Wonderland, and I was like, "O__o *wants it really bad*" but I didn't get it because I was afraid I would run out of money for presents. Which I didn't, but I couldn't go back and get it. D8
I also especially liked Alice SyFy; I found it to be a clever, engaging reimagination.

Azure Caterpillar I hope you manage to play the game, its rather awesome. I hope so, too! I wanna play it so bad. AND I FOUND OUT THAT APPARENTLY ONE OF MY FRIENDS HAS IT! O___O I'm like, "Heeeeeyyyyy, you wanna let me in on that action?" XD
And that reminds me: Malice in Wonderland (the movie, NOT the Snoop Dogg CD... eeeew) is actually really good. Well, I think it is. It's another one of those reimaginations of AiW, and I thought it was very well done. It's not out on DVD yet, but I recommend it if anyone likes those sorts of "heavily ingluenced by" AiW movies (which I do).

I probably should of checked if anyone else had the game before I bought it online, but I suppose having two copies of it isn't bad, eh?
I need to replay it at some point to take more screenies... I don't have that many.
