Carefully, the girl stood herself up onto her two feet. "I guess I should use the bathroom again..." She quickly skittered down the hall, and soon enough returned.
Initially, she was quiet as they both walked to the door. Yvette stopped awkwardly and managed to look into Tara's eyes for a brief moment. "I... I can handle walking to the bus stop myself. I guess I'll see you at school...?" There were echoes of reasons why Tara shouldn't go with her in her mind, but she didn't vocalize any of them. Instead, she offered a tiny smile.
"Thank you for having me over." Pause. "It means a lot to me."

Tara didn't argue, for a change. She just smiled as well, and shook her head. "It was no problem. Really." Pause. "It means a lot to me too."
Sharing things with someone who actually liked to listen was much more enjoyable than lecturing to anyone within earshot. She'd been too busy pushing the movie earlier to realize it, but she'd had fun. Not just watching the movie, or even just watching the movie in good company. Part of the fun, in a way she couldn't explain, was specifically because she'd done this with Yvette.
"We'll do it again soon. And pizza, next time. And more marshmallows in the cocoa." She was rambling, because she didn't really want Yvette to leave. But she caught herself, and laughed shakily. "Take care, okay? I'll see you at school."

"M-maybe next time we can make a whole day out of it...?" the long haired girl offered shyly, her feet shuffling slightly in place. Yvette had come up with a wonderful way to thank Tara for her kindness, and for suffering Yvette's awkwardly meek company for at least 6 visits. Yvette could offer to sew Tara's prom dress for her. However, she couldn't outright say it. It wasn't that she didn't want to say it. Yvette wanted to put out the offer, but there were so many little intricacies to it, that she figured maybe it would be best to save the offer until next time.
"I'll see ya!" She wiggled her fingers in an almost lame fashion before walking out the door. It was a bit chilly outside, and now the indigo haired girl couldn't help but wish she had brought a jacket with her today.
She'd remember it for next time.
