What's so difficult about Oculus? I never had any problems with it. It's the matter of people following directions and know what their doing.

I kind of like Oculus. It's a bit of a challenge, and the more you do it, the easier it gets. Since I am a healer, if DPS dies, of course I am blamed. But maybe they shouldn't have been standing on the ice.
I can only do Oculus once every while though, since a lot of people do not like it. You get a lot of grumpy people in it. But the instance seems to like me.

Nothing annoys me more then people dropping groups because they are either too retarded or ignorant too do an instance because its not their favorite.

its official. oc is no longer my least favorite dungeon ever. that title has been picked up by Maraudon
after getting my account back up and running i hopped on some dungon finder and guess what was the first two dungeons?
you guessed it, oculus. the experiences were good enough that i no longer loath it something fierce(mainly becasue that whelp glitch is gone) though the first time i died right before we killed the final boss and lead to an annoying runback just so i could get the bag loot. i know it lets you kill him faster, but there should really be two healers on that fight and the healer should NOT be a dps who has absolutely no healer toons.
why is mara now my most hated? simple
theres not many choices for a lv 40 toon to run in the DF system. when i was rocking my pally out as a tank(which he is doing awesomely as long as no one acts a fool) the damn system loaded mara purple up 8 times in a row and each time. and each time it was more annoying than the last. seriously, it takes forever to get to the first(and ONLY) boss and i nearly died every time because of the goddamn poison-casting imps that no one would kill and would do more damage to me than the 4 damn satyrs that were around me and almost everyone would leave the group once we killed the boss instead of staying around for the rest of the instance so we'd get new people who would always be rather bad when it came to the oozes with teh sick aoes that would wipe half the melee group because they didnt notice how badly they were getting hurt by it all. every time i ran it we would get as far as the first waterfall and the group would shatter.
i dont know, maybe its because i've only been in this dungeon as a lv 70 in bc and an 80 now and i dont really know how the mechanics work, but damn this instance is annoying as s**t. and i'm frikkin stuck with it because i've leveled too damn many toons and getting really sick of old world content and am trying to level my pally via instance grinding(for tanking xp as well as real xp) and its the only instance i will be able to do for a while now.

♱-киιgнт-ℓσяd-♱ ♪-кιяιαтн-♪ Oculus was never hard, it just requires a group that are all willing to compromise. Yelling out. "Dibs on red drake!" Isn't the right attitude for this instance. Usually I knock this place out within 30 minutes with a group of people that are willing to compromise. Also if learning what three buttons and the mechanics behind them is more difficult than learning an entire class mechanic heaven forbid you enter EoE! Oculus is a good training camp for EoE which is still one of the most fun bossfights for me. Oculus is also very rewarding come patch 3.3! 2-3 Gems + 2 extra badges? On top of normal badge rates and heroic completion badges. ☣-CAUTION-☣ I am dєαdℓy.

I always thought you were suppose to pick the drake according to what you were.
Ruby - Tank
Amber - DPS
Emerald - Heals
I didn't actually start doing OCC until after Dungeon finder though. I haven't been playing too long and was more into BG's and PVP than instances/raids.

Never did heroics i usually geared up in pvp then went strait to raiding razz but i might of i usually did utgard keep if i did a heroic ( help other guildys )

I don't even drop the que. When Im queued into Oculus, I tell the group to kick me so I dont get the Dungeon Deserter debuff. So far I have yet to have a group complain about it. They are generally more than happy to do so. xp
