((Meh... I'm changing the colour I do Talmaya's actions to dark blue to contrast more))

The third summon seemed to not comprehend either Rena nor Joe's explanation. However, she got the basic jist that she was far from home. However, looking around simply told her that. The idea of her body breaking down, however, made her a little unnerved.

"Is it like... dying? The body breaks down and releases the spirit so that it may travel... am I dead?"

A bony hand, covered in tanned skin, reached up and gently twiddled with the veil that hung over her mouth.

"Rena? I will call you Rena then. You're a little... cuter than I expected a demon to be."

Merasha cleared her throat, eyeing where the portal had been. It wasn't responding anymore. Things were going wrong, and it was heaping trouble and stress upon the summoner. She finally turned to the three and inclined her head.

"I can't send you back. The other half of the spell is in the hands of my half brother." There was no point in continuing the charade of potency. The summoner seemed to visibly deflate. "And this tower is a prison, and I its prisoner. It took a lot to smuggle in the components to do the summoning ritual... but... I had to improvise on some of them with, uh, close substitutes," the summoner shyly admitted.

Joe sighed. "And I suppose you'll tell us what you're a prisoner for? Or do you want to rot in here while I leave?"

He said to Talmaya, "No, you aren't dead. Unless it goes horribly wrong, summoning doesn't kill you." Joe scanned her too.

She listened to her master closely, wondering just which components were substituted, and what kind of effect it would have on the spell. She did notice that she would occasionally look back to the portal, almost as if she were expecting more to come out of it. Looking at her, she said. "Master? Is there supposed to be more summons coming through? Oh, and I'm not a demon. My kind are called fairies. I've never seen a creature like yours on my planet. May I ask what race you are Master?" She was very curious about the different races that had appeared along with her. She had never seen more than the forests in her home, so all races outside of it were new to her.

Merasha frowned at Joe, her jowels drooping signifigantly. "You are extremely rude. I did NOTHING wrong to end up here! My husband locked me in here because he's ashamed of me!" Merasha crossed her arms over her chest, continuing to wear a look of displeasure. However, she slowly let her expression fade as she turned to Talmaya and Rena.

"Ah... yes.. more were supposed to come. I suppose I should not have expected this spell to work fully considering I didn't have everything I needed to cast it..." Merasha shook her head. "I was expecting monstrous, howling demons that would come out, and expected them to be under my rule... not..." she trailed off her sentence and shot a scornful glance over at Joe.

"So... I am not dead," Talmaya concluded. She continued to just stare at the ones around her. She swept loose wavy bangs of dark blue hair out of her eyes. For those with the capability of seeing magic sources, a small marking shines upon her forehead and has the destinct signature of the element of water.

She slowly took a moment to try and digest whate everyone was saying, but had nothing to add to any of the comments just yet. She just stood very quiet, but maintained good posture and kept her chin up, refusing to stoop or cringe away.

Joe noted with interest the magical marking on Talmaya's head before he turned his attention to he summoner...yet again.

"Listen to me," Joe said, stepping close and letting his voice drop dangerously. "I did not wake up this morning with the intent of being pulled forcefully out of my own world into a prison by some bumbling summoner. If we get you out of here, will that expedite the process of you returning us home, or finding your half-brother, or whatever? Because I'll get you out of here in a heartbeat if it means getting home."

Rena didn't like the way that the bigger creature was talking either, but she knew that he was probably just upset because he had been summoned unexpectedly. He might have been doing something in his own world that was important, and this was stopping him from doing that. She really didn't know, but she did know that her master needed help, and she would do her very best to help. She was a little bit worried about the other summon though. Flying over to her, and noting the water symbols on her head, she said with a smile. "Nope, you're not dead. We've been summoned by master, so we have to do our best to help her out okay? I'm not very good at magic, but with all of us together, we can definitely help out. And after we help master out, maybe we'll be able to go back home. Would you like that umm.." She looked confused for a second, and then chuckled with embarrassment. "Eh heh, sorry I don't know your name and I don't want to call you by anything you don't like." She shot a split second glare over at the larger creature, before returning her now calm eyes back to the girl.

Merasha continued to frown at Joe. However, she was beginning to understand that she'd be likely just as unhappy torn out of her own world. It wasn't at all what she thought would happen.

"YES! I summoned you for the purpose of getting me out and exacting revenge on my husband for locking me here in the first place! And THEN help me find my half brother. Once we find him, you can go home, as he's more of the expert on these spells. I'm just an apprentice, but I DID summon you, therefor I AM your master, so YOU!" she pointed a finger at Joe, "Had better start acting like it!"

She cleared her throat noisily, rolling her shoulders. "At any rate, my name is Merasha Kol..." she says more or less to the two who had appeared after she eeped her name out at Joe in response to his threats.

"Now... if you will please... the door looks wooden, but it has iron bars on the outside. The halls are routinely guarded by large hulking men with spears and swords. On the outside of the tower are posted archers. At the base of this tower are conveyance and divination wizards... and they will likely be on their way up considering the amount of power this sort of spell would make."

Talmaya listened patiently to the fairy, nodding as she spoke as a signal that she was listening. "I am.. to serve... her?" Talmaya winced a little, hearing Merasha speak of her intentions. She furrowed her eyebrows, gripping her hands into fists, but remained quiet still. At least, until Merasha was finished explaining.

"I can rust iron easily. It will make less attention than trying to force them..." Talmaya offered, in her low, husky voice... but there seemed to be a bit if hesitance, perhaps even a slight grudging tone in her voice.

Joe scoffed at Merasha. "I will treat you as my Master when you demonstrate that I should. Merely using your magic to tear me out of my world and into this one does not make you superior to me - would you like me to use my magic to make you call me Master? I thought not. Now, to the matter at hand."

He looked at the door in thought. "You said they'll be coming up here soon? Instead of blasting our way out, then, I say we wait for them to come and open the door to investigate. We can subdue their mages before we make our way out of here. I can handle the guards, no worries there. Are they magical as well? If so, what kind of magic?" He seemed much more focused now that he had a task.

Rena felt a little bit bad that she would have to fight, but she would do what her master wanted, if that would get her home. She didn't know if anyone here could teach her how to control the wind better, which meant her advancing lessons would have to be put on hold. She did however, know enough about her lessons that she could probably improve her casting, which was her main problem. If she was distracted while she was casting, the result would cause a backlash, which could either be small or large depending on how much magic was in the area.

Merasha crossed her arms as her uppity summon continued to be disrespectful. "Now listen here... you may be strong, but you are overlooking one little fact - you know nothing about this world. No one but me will help a demon.... but it doesn't matter. The fact remains is you won't find my half brother, and therefor, get home without my cooperation."

Merasha glanced over at Talmaya for a moment, hearing her suggestion. However, she inclined her head towards Joe as he began plotting.

"It would be best just to lure them in, as... erm... the obstinant one says. What am I to call you? And you... over there... what is your name?"

Talmaya darted her eyes between Joe and Merasha for a moment or two, until her name was asked. She nodded her head. She, too, was unhappy at the thought of serving this strange being that had dragged her away from her small oasis village, but less inclined to make her feelings known. "My name is Talmaya Naveh."

"I see... well... as for the capability of the guards, for the most part they are just brutes. Some of them don't really think much for themselves, but quite a few of them are crafty... it depends on who is on duty. That I do not know. All I know is as far as magic goes, they are uneducated, and happier for it. The wizards however..."

She trailed off as there was a loud crackling noise. She turned around, looking about frantically, half expecting a wizard to have appeared someplace in the room. However, that was not the cause.

There was a flash and energy began striking out and the portal opened again, preparing the arrival of a fourth being.

A flash of light and what appeared to be a large mountain of fur appeared. Krisafia Tharin looked around in surprise, and seeing that there were four other beings in the room, and at least two didn't exactly look friendly to her, she leaned into a half-crouch, her fur bristling and claws and teeth flashing as she let out a growl.

"Where am I? What is going on here? And where exactly is here?" She could tell simply from the temperature and the appearance of this structure that she was no where near her home. It was too warm, and this certainly didn't resemble any cave she'd ever seen.

Rena flinched at the loud crackling sound, and thought it was an attack at first, but when her eyes met the portal, she realized that one more creature had been summoned. Her eyes practically sparkled at the thought of one more friend, and she happily flew over to her and said with a smile. "Don't worry, you're with friends. You've been summoned to help master escape this prison and find her half brother and live happily ever after...or something like that. Anyways, what's your name? My names Rena!" She giggled and then stared at the girl with happy eyes, not caring that she had never met this creature before and didn't know whether she was hostile or not.

Krisa swiped at the small female that flew at her, missing her by just a few inches. At this point, it was more a threat than an actual attempt at harm. "Friends?" she hissed. "I don't know who you are, so how can we be friends? And as far as masters, the only master I recognize is Lord Tharan of the leopards. As for who I am, my name is Krisafia Tharin of the leopards of the Ice Planes." She held her self up with dignity as she said the last.

"Wah!" She flew back just as that paw swiped at her. Her heart now racing and careful, she gave the creature a pout and said. "That wasn't very nice. I'm not your enemy you know, so we can be friends. And no matter if you accept master or not, you're magically bound to her now that she summoned you, so denying it isn't going to change a thing. We can't go back to our homes since her half brother the only one that can take us back, so instead of fighting, we should help each other to get to him." She smiled, hoping to make this creature see her as a friend, and not a threat.
