I'm a total fanfiction addict, so I don't read as many books as I ought to. sweatdrop
Right now, though, I'm reading Think Like An Egyptian: 100 Hieroglyphs for my own amusement ( biggrin ) and The Grapes of Wrath for school ( gonk ).

I'm a weirdo and enjoy having multiple books going at a time. That said, here's what I'm reading... at least what I can recall off the top of my head.

The Stand: The Complete and Unabbridged Version by Stephen King
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
Eldest by Christopher Paolini (I think that's his name. you know, the guy who wrote Eragon)
Gump and Company by Winston Groom

There are a few others currently on the docket, but I can't recall them off the top of my head.

Remember kiddies, reading is fundamental. biggrin

Right now I'm reading "Cause Celeb" by Helen Fielding, the lady who wrote "Bridget Jones' Diary"

I'm sort of in between books right now. I've been reading some short stories by Roald Dahl, Edgar Allen Poe, and Ryonuske Akutagawa(the guy who wrote "In a Grove," the story Rashomon was based on)

I might turn into one of those dorky people who starts reading old textbooks for pleasure reading. There's so much in them that I don't remember. I want to be a sponge and just soak everything up. ^_^

YES. That's my favorite book of all time. Is it the unabridged with the pictures (which, by the way, are horrible if you have that one)? Because that's the one I have.

Currently I'm rereading 'I Was a Teenage Fairy' by Francesca Lia Block as it had been packed and I hadn't gotten to read it for a few months.

It's a big-a** hardback version. And there are some illustrations here and there. Don't know if that's the same you have, but that's the one I've got.

Yeah, that's the one I have. Around eight or so illustrations? I would have just preferred the book itself, the illustrations are terrible. There's a picture of Larry with his mother and it looks like he's going to kill her.

I want to read more of Cause Celeb today so that I can start another book. There are so many that I want to read. I should get started on them now while I can, before I get swamped with work from school.

And power-hungry Slytherin loved those of great ambition...|>

---|At the moment, I'm not actually reading anything, but there are series that I'm in the middle of:

- The Belgariad/The Malloreon - David Eddings
- The Farseer Trilogy - Robin Hobb

And things I've been halfway through for a while now:

- Macbeth
- The Merchant of Venice
- Taming of the Shrew
- Wuthering Heights

Yes, I'm brushing up on my classic lit. It has been hard, because other than Shakespeare, Wilde and Dickens, I don't like the authors of the "classics". (Marlowe doesn't count because I haven't read enough of him.)

I'm kind of reading The Secret Garden, and re-reading Inkheart. I say kind of because it's happening very slowly.

I'm in the middle of "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" for school. I can't believe our professor is making us do reflective book reports in grad school. I thought book reports were for elementary/primary school children.

On a side note, I do not think I will be finishing "Cause Celeb" by the lady who wrote "Bridget Jones' Diary". Instead, I will start reading "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey.
