Moon Shine frowned at him. "You don't talk much, do you?" Moon Shine ask, becoming mildly frustrated with Silverfang. "You need to socialize more. I'm not going to kill you. Who do you think I am, Satan himself?" She asked.

"As soon as I turn my back you'll sink your teeth and claws in me too..." he said. He didn't want his past to come back and get him again. This was why he distanced himself from others and became a loner.

Moon Shine sighed. "No, I won't. I promise. No; I swear. I'm not gonna kill you." she said, looking at him sweetly. Being honest with herself, she knew she couldn't kill him. She was feeling a connection, but she didn't know if he felt it too. Maybe the wall around his emotions was too thick to break.

Silverfang looked at her not too sure. He laid down thinking it over. "What's that over there?" he said looking off to her right.

She turned her head. What was he talking about? She didn't see anything. Moon Shine felt very confused.

Silverfang took the chance and licked her cheek. He laughed and ran a short distance away waggin his tail. He assumed the play pose .((front end down and rear up and tail wagging)).

Moon Shine was startled, but ran over and licked his cheek. She playfully tackled him to the ground, rolling off him onto the grass. It was cool, and she stared up at the moon.

Silverfang playfully tagged her and ran a short distance away. It had been a very long time since he had played with anyone. This fem was nice and he decided to give her a chance.

Moon Shine laughed and ran after him. "You know, you're not bad." She told Silverfang. She ran after her tail, chomping down on air.

Silverfang walked over to her. he nudged her a little smiling. He again licked her cheek and nuzzled her.

"It's because of my past.... it's kinda bad" Silverfang replied running after her. The more time he spent with her the more comfortable he felt. He felt happier with this fem.

"I'm listening. It's okay, you know." Moon Shine said gently. "I won't hurt you." She said in the same tone. It was true. She wouldn't.

"When I was a pup some two legs stumbled onto our den and killed my parents and my little brother... I've been wandering since. Several packs I was in turned on and attacked me. That's why I sometimes I'm not too sociable." Silverfang said drooping his head and ears.

Moon Shine's ears pinned back. "Oh. That's sad." She lay down, tired from the play. "I won't do that." She told him.
