After taking a lovely nap, Sayuri woke up and was now wandering to a nearby sushi place for food. She saw the smiles that the owners gave her and she bowed her head in return with a greeting. But in reality, she knew they didn't approve of her. She was half. She was mixed. She was cursed. Rather than sitting down to eat, she got it all to go and left once she had paid. "Sayonara~" She called back, waving as she took her food towards the river. It ran through the park and well, she had many an enemy so probably better to just stay there. Not like she felt welcome to stay around where she was from anyways.

She sat down on the bank of the river, not really caring if her clothes got grass stains. Though her pants were a light tan color, tall brown boots rising up to her knees. She wore a halter sort of top that was a lovely blue. Her hair didn't match per normal, but she couldn't accommodate it all the time. Opening up the boxes lid, she popped an eel roll in her mouth, munching as she sighed and stared up to the sky for a moment. She thought she heard arguing in the distance, but she didn't want to interfere. With this town, it was just better to mind your own damned business and keep an extra two eyes open as if it were possible.

Kurushi walked with his twin alongside the river. Or rather he walked and she...flitted about. He jammed his hands into his jeans and let out a deep breath. It was a nice day. Not too warm and so he wore a plain brown hoodie over his dark green buttondown. It would be a really nice day...if Kit could stand still. She ran up to him he hair flying all over the place nearly tackling him. He caught her and arched a brow. "what?" He asked in deep voice that would have been seductive had it not been so serious. Kit just laughed.

Kit ran from place to place her hair usually braied was free today and whipped around her as he ran around. Her combat boots clomped and plaid pink skirt swayed over her pink and white stocking. A butterfly landed on her pink cami and gently Kit lifted it on her finger and cupped in her hands running at her twin to show him. "LOOK!" She said in adorable voice. He caught her and answered gruffly. "What?" The butterfly flew away. "You didnt have coffee this morning." She said before her eyes rested on a girl sitting on the grass and eating alone. Kit ran over. "HIYA!" She said tugging the straps of her bear backpack.

Sayuri could hear someone was rather excited, popping the last bit of sushi in her mouth and chewing as she listened to the song that was running through her head. Closing her eyes for a moment, she sighed lightly and pushed herself up, grabbing her trash. She started to head towards the trash can but stopped short since that 'hiya' was rather loud. Who in the world.....

Ah, the twins. "Ohayo Kit. Kurushi." She said softly, bowing her head a little in greeting. She knew everyone's name in their gang, whether they knew her or not. He appeared as glum as ever, and per usual she was far too hyper. She remembered overhearing certain conversations, but it wasn't like she was about to repeat it to them. What did they want anyways? No one really bothered her.

(( Ohayo = Good morning. ))

Kurushi bowed to her and smiled saying in that strange voice of his. "Ohayo Sayuri-chan." He straightened and sighed. "I am deeply sorry if we bothered your peace. Kit has a tendency to do that." Kurushi continued speaking very respectfully. He was always respectful to everyone. He loved and valued the idea of a Samurai.

Kit turned and stuck her tongue out and said childishly. "Its only cuz your such a boring person. Otherwise I could just talk to you." She turned and beamed at Sayuri. "Though I am sorry if I bothered you. Would you like to come to our apartment for some tea. Kurushi is boring but he makes great tea." She said in her raspy enticing voice. She played with a few strands of hair watching Sayuri. Kurushi watched them both carefully.

Sayuri shook her head, only giving a light shrug. "I wasn't working on anything. Just eating my lunch." She replied to Kurushi, cracking her neck with a light sigh. Blinking, she watched the sister snap back at her brother, a very faint smile rising to her lips. Siblings.... Closing her eyes for a moment, she made it appear as if she were debating the invitation, resting her hands on her hips. "Don't worry about it Kit. He just probably hasn't had work or coffee yet." She murmured, opening her eyes, smoothing back some stray bangs. "I wouldn't wish to impose upon you both. If you insist, then I suppose I can't refuse."
PostPosted: Sun Jun 06, 2010 8:01 pm

"We insist." They said in unison. It was the first time they had actually agreed on something since being in her presence.

"Please. Truly we would love to have you." Kurushi said and smiled kindly at her. In truth for some reason her eating alone touched a part of him. He didnt quite feel sad for her or pity her. No he just...he would never want to be without Kit so he thought she must feel lonely.

Kit had other things on her mind. Like how very much she wanted to draw Sayuri...naked. Kit was no slut or anything but she knew when she wanted something and she definitely wanted Sayuri. The girl was gorgeous. Kit grinned at her and laughed. "Please join us. I dont wanna have to drink tea with him by myself."

Hearing them speak in unison caused a small smirk to rise up to her lips, her hands sliding back down to her sides. She listened to both of them before she said anything, not revealing that she did appreciate this. So very few accepted her. They would respect her competence when it came to work, but as a person.... well... she knew they secretly didn't want to accept her. But they would remain respectful to some degree as always.

"Hai hai. Lead the way. I wouldn't think it's that bad to be able to drink tea with your brother." She said softly, knowing Kit probably didn't mean to tread on some parts of her past. No one knew her history, just that she was mixed. Personally she didn't mind, she liked her business remaining her own.

(Blue is for unison)

Kurushi unlocked the door and lead them into the apartment. Most of the walls were painted. Very skillfully. It was easy to tell who had painted what. There was winter scene on one wall with a snowman. That was Kurushi. The bright cheerful ocean scene Kit had done. They told her to sit and then a carefully orchestrated dance of chaos began. Kit pulled out the teapot and Kurushi filled it while she got plates and he grabbed cups. In about ten minutes they had tea, which Kurushi seemed to prefer and chocolate chip cookies which Kit liked. They sat down with and smiled. "Ikaidakaimas."

(I doubt I spelled that right.)

(( It's Itadakimasu. But it's ok. ))

Sayuri was silent on the way there, the twins seeming to argue a little bit, but that was normal. She paid it no mind. She had to in order to remain afloat within the confines of her own mind. As they stepped in, she took off her shoes per custom, murmuring the other greeting that was normal. While the two went off at it, she didn't end up sitting, instead observing the walls with her hands in her pockets.

Once she heard the clink of china on the table though, she turned and sat down, pouring herself some tea. "Arigato." She didn't take any of the cookies, a bit watchful of what she ate since she had to remain in the best of shape. She didn't speak since she wasn't eating and it wasn't usual to when just drinking something. She easily fabricated a slight smile, sipping at her tea. Mmm, it was good. "Oishi." She mumbled, taking another sip rather quickly.

"Has Haku given the two of you any work lately?" She asked softly, honestly not really sure what to talk about. While she was often alone, she didn't mind it really. But it also meant she didn't talk to people much. At least, if it wasn't involved with her job or something.

(( Arigato = informal thank you. Oishi = Delicious. ))
PostPosted: Sun Jun 06, 2010 8:56 pm

"None strangely." Kurushi said. And was lying through his teeth. Haku had put him in charge of selecting and running small border post at one part of their territory that didnt have great security. He turned and indicated Kit. "She is going to be painting murals on all the wall on the way to Headquarters. Apparently Haku like her artwork." Kurushi said. It was clear he was proud of her but he was also upset that he hadn't been picked too.

Kit grinned. "Yep! I am so excited. I start tomorrow. But it will be hard to do it without my brother to help." She said grinning at him. "Hes so much more patient than me. If I dont watch it we will have a bunch of half finished murals." She said and took a cookie nibbling it cutely. Kit turned to Sayuri. "Do you do anythin artistic?"

Really now? This caused Sayuri to raise an eyebrow. It wasn't like Haku to leave his members to stagnate and do nothing. However she didn't press the matter further since she probably wouldn't get an answer. Now both eyebrows raised, "Wow. Pretty prestigious job. Yeah, don't slack off. We all know how he gets when someone gets lazy or leaves things partially done." She said softly, taking note of Kurushi's tone, but again, she did not comment. It was not her place to, at least she didn't think so.

She shook her head, "Nope. Not unless you want to call my assassinations art." She answered simply, taking a sip of her tea. She usually didn't have time to pursue anything else. And she lived rather plainly in that way.

Kit laughed and nodded. "Yep yep. It does not pay to piss of the boss man." She ate another cookie and got up from the table in a sensous move.

Kurushi raised an eyebrow. "Finish your tea." It was clearly a debate they had often but for once she finished it and went for a wall across from them. It was not done yet. It held one tree and nothing more. "Shes terrible company sometimes." he muttered under his breath. He turned to face Sayuri and they chatted for a bit before she left. He called to Kit. "I am goin to my room. Night."

(( Only reason I'm responding despite you taking control of my charrie is because I already spoke to you about it and I would just rather keep the rp moving in some way than to ask you to edit. ))

Sayuri merely observed the two of them, tilting her head a little as she saw the unfinished wall. "It's alright. It's not like I'm amazing myself." She murmured, talking to him about minor things that had been going on with the gang. Usually with her, she ended up talking about work since... well.... it wasn't like there was much else.

After a little while longer she left, exhaling slowly as she was finally outside. Sometimes it could be a bit of an ordeal for her to interact with them. Stuffing her hands in her pockets, she started back to her apartment.

An odd thing she noticed as she walked in the door was a slight scuff mark on the floor. Narrowing her eyes a bit, she started to pull out her sword, but was soon greeted by a large burly man that walked into view. His triskellion tattoo was as clear as day, her eyes narrowing. "What do you want?" She asked softly, bringing up her hands in a ready form. If he made one move to attack, she would knock him out cold.

"Now relax there missy. We just want to have a little talk. Oi! V! Come 'ere." He turned to call into another room, gesturing for Sayuri to go ahead inside. He followed after her just to be safe, standing still in the doorway to block her exits.

"I believe a proper greeting would be, Konnichiwa right? Ha, the accent makes it funny." Evian laughed, her arms folded over her chest as she turned to face this girl. "We know how skilled you are, but don't underestimate ours. Please just cooperate. I just got a couple of questions for you." She smirked, her arms relaxing to her sides.

Sayuri narrowed her eyes. There were six exits she could make for, but this woman was right. She didn't know their strengths or anything. Alright, she would talk. "Very well. What is it?" She muttered softly, glancing to the six men besides this woman in her home. She took note that she'd have to update security.

Ah good, this would go peacefully. Suddenly she lost the smirk, walking up to Sayuri. "I believe you are familiar with the fact our former leader was killed yes? I'm here to find out if it was you. Was it?" She asked, her tone light and yet cold as ice.

Now her brows furrowed, the death of Robert? "I am familiar. But that was not me. If I remember the news correctly, he was ambushed in an ally and shot to death by pistols. That is not my style for assassinations. Regular jobs, yes. But not what I am most often asked to do. What makes you think it was-"

"-you? Because your reputation proceeds you. If you hired out as freelance, you could make a lot of money. But I know you don't. Despite everything you remain true to your roots. Where were you then that night?" She wasn't sure she truly believed this girl, this was almost too easy.

She didn't comment, for what could she say? Yes, despite the animosity she received from the Sakura, she knew it would be no better at Si. "I was on another job. I was asked to take out a prominent company board member who was smuggling a lot of cargo into our territory without proper clearance. He didn't understand how this city runs. His name was James Peterson. Go ahead and check records if you don't believe me."

James Peterson.... She knew the name. Sighing heavily, she seemed to relax, running a hand through her hair with a slight frown. "Damn.... Oh well, I'll just hope Mark isn't too disappointed to hear this. No, I believe you. I remember that a**. This may be pointless, but do you have any idea who may have committed this act?" She put her hands on her hips, an almost bored expression upon her face.

To that Sayuri shook her head, folding her hands behind her back in a rather militeristic way. "No. I am only given information I need to know about my targets and anything other than that is withheld. Can you please leave now? If you do then I won't take it as an offense to Sakura." She requested softly, glancing to the other men as they chuckled.

"Figures. Yea sure." Whistling shrilly, the boys left out of an open window, running through the alleys back to their own territory. Evian lingered and gave a sort of salute to the girl, a smirk rising to her lips. "Thank you very much for the intel." With that, she swung out the window and climbed up to the roof, almost seeming like a monkey. She darted over the rooftops easily, sighing heavily as she could only imagine how Mark would react. Well, at least I don't have to fight her. She could probably kick my a** in thirty seconds flat.

As soon as they left, she slipped over to the window, watching them leave with a small sigh. So the girl could move like she did. She'd have to remember that just in case. Shutting the window, she exhaled slowly, sitting down in a nearby chair. Alright, security updates tomorrow.... It was rare for someone to be able to get in, the fact that they had was intriguing. Especially for Triskels. The Si she would be a little less surprised, but for the Irish? Very unexpected.

Shaking his head sadly to himself James pushed his hands deep into his pockets and took a walk through the park, following the river briefly before moving back into the city.
The doctor walked with an air of confidence, smiling to people who passed him which suprised some of the strangers. Despite the argument with his mother he was still just glad to have seen her, made sure she was alright. James wandered aimlessly for a while, having grown restless being indoors for so long. Eventually though as the sky began to darken he made his way back towards Si headquarters, or rather what he'd begun to consider home.

"Xiexie meimei, I appreciate it immensly." Yue said sweetly to the young girl in front of her. She had passed by the classrooms, catching one of the children from Peng's class. The little girl grinned and spoke some rapid mandarin to the leader, bowing respectfully to her before running off to go change. Smiling softly, she straightened up, glancing to her watch to see the time.

Hmmm... I got time. Heading downstairs, she walked outside of her HQ, not taking anyone with her. It wasn't like she was going to go far. Humming lightly to herself, she went to a nearby flower shop, greeting the owner whom was startled at her presence. It both made her inwardly sigh and laugh to receive such reactions, conversing with him. She bought a mixed bouquet, bidding the owner farewell, continuing the song in her head.

It didn't take her long to return to her home, walking through the garden before glancing up to the sky. Sighing, she switched to whistling, finding one of the many secret passageways around. However this one led into secret caverns that were in the mountain, picking up a lantern at it's entrance. Turning it on, she headed off deeper through the caves. This one lead up to a plateau that watched over the city, a temple of sorts there as well. After all, some did wish to follow their beliefs to the strictist of senses.

It was a long walk, but she didn't mind, the internal music player within her mind keeping her amused. Along with memories. As she drew close to the exit, she turned off the lantern, the natural light guiding her. She greeted some monks she walked past, at least if they were ok with it since there were apparently rules and whatnot. Following a mountain path, she made her way up to a decently sized area that was above the temple, a beautiful garden set up there. Two gravestones were there, some flowers already offered there. Smiling faintly, she walked up to them and kneeled down. She placed the bouquet between the two, the wind whipping past her, ruffling her clothes and hair.
