Ghost Owl watched the Oto nin enter, blinking once behind the mask. It shook its head, this was not its target. That was an Oto nin, one who did not need an escort. It did prepare itself though, for the others that would follow shortly behind the nominal leader of the group.

Ghost Owl perked up when he spotted two Deza's walking down the path, carrying an unconscious figure in Akatsuki robes. After peering at her for a moment, he recognized it as Kai, the Akatsuki information specialist. Taking that as the prisoner, he leapt off the wall and scooped the girl from the clones.
"Follow me, we're heading to the prison." He turned and signalled to the guards to open the main gates. After they swung open, Ghost Owl lead the small procession into the village. He paused as the real Deza appeared. He grinned from behind his mask and indicated that she should follow him as well. Then he set into the village, marching resolutely to the Silent Hill prison.

 Deza fallowed, it was growing late though, and she was begining to grow tired and worn out, but her job to the village came first but she knew she'd need rest soon. after all it had been quite some time since her last REAL sleep, sure she caught a couple of short naps when whit Edward, but that wasn't real sleep. she moved swiftly to cath up to him, leavin instructions to the gate gaurds to send for her and hold the leaf shinobi at the gates till she arived. they nodded and she left to fallow her favorite shinobi in the village.

Ghost Owl landed outside the gates, standing in front of them to bar access. He let normal passerby into the village, as well as any Oto ninja returning from missions. His eyes, hidden behind the mask, kept scanning path, looking for the Konoha squad. While he waited, he took out the short, ANBU issue chakra sword, and began honing it, running his different elements through it for practice. It was a sobering sight for the ANBU guards near the gate to watch their leader channel water, then wind, followed by lightning, through his blade. A couple decided that they would try finding out their own third element, just so they wouldn't feel so ashamed of slacking off.

Wave yawned sleepily as she walked up to the gates. she walked just outside of the gates, opening them herself, and stood just to the left of them. she yawned from having just woken up and then..... she sat down and started playing herself at tick tack toe in the dirt..... she lost.
"gerr..."

Ghost Owl looked at his partner and blinked behind the mask. I don't know if she's easier to work with when she's tired, or just woken up...Uh... I'd go with just woken up, she doesn't look like she wants to rip anyone to shreds right now. Hm. Point, definite point. Ghost Owl shrugged, the action causing his ANBU cloak to ripple. He moved over next to her and laid one gloved hand on her shoulder and stated quietly;
"I'll take x's." There was amusement in his voice as he created a clone that stood on overwatch as he knelt down beside her to help her wake up.

Ghost Owl merely nodded in reply and made an 'x' incision in the bottom left corner before handing the kunai back to her for her turn. He noted the yawn though.
"Will you be awake enough for this Wave?" His voice, though modified by the inscribed seals on the mask, still held a note of concern.

The small healer made an O in the top left corner and handed it back.
"hmm? ya just waking myself up" she yawned a bit again. "i'll be fine. just give me an hour or so."
she reached under her mask to scratch her left cheek just beside her eye. she blinked a couple of times with half lidded eyes and sniffled a bit.

Ghost Owl's next move claimed the bottom right corner, cutting off her win. He silently pulled out a small pill and handed it to her with a shake of his head.
"Wave-chan, you should know all about these handy little pills, they're made by your corps after all." He handed the pill and the kunai to her, indicating her turn.

Ghost Owl slid the kunai into the top position, marking that one out as well. He could see from the way the game was progressing that it was likely to be a tie for them. He grinned momentarily behind his mask. If we tie we both buy lunch for the other... meaning two dates instead of just one. And considering I still owe her about twenty dinners... He shook with slight laughter as he spun the kunai around to hand it back to her.
