"So, Xiao," Neron said, turning to him after returning his smile to it's much more friendlier form, "You have a problem. I have the means of fixing it. Only say the word, friend."

All JLA communicators suddenly recieved this message--"This is Zatanna Zatara to all JLA core and reserve members; keep an eye out for a little girl, about five years old, red hair, red eyes, Caucasian, likely wearing a red and white dress. Answers to Rosie. ... Could be multiple versions of subject. If found, please bring back to watchtower. Repeat, bring to watchtower. And yes, Flash, I'm aware that this sounds like a lost kitten poster. Shut up."

"Oh, the price is immediately payable, to be sure," Neron replied in short order. There were two good things about that response: it should pique his interest a little, and it was true.

Neron smiled a little wider. Not much more, though; no good disturbing the customer, after all. "Indeed, Xiao."

"Something you don't seem to be using very much right now," Neron said in a joking tone; he was only half-joking, though. "Your soul."

"Think about it," Neron said, sensing the seed of doubt in Xiao's heart, "You could get even more power, power enough to rival that of the Spectre himself! You'll be alive, alive and able to find your dear Alcina, alive to enjoy your darling Zera, alive for all of them. A new chance at a long and fruitful life." Neron didn't care how long it took for him to die; Neron was eternal, and had all the time in the world, literally, to bide his time.

ENTER from GOTHAM

A large chunk of onyx black rock slid from the rest of the smooth wall, leaving a nice large hole. The roar of a motorcycle echoed out of it, and was quickly followed by a slim black motorcycle. As Danny slid his bike into a parked beside a large black Corinthian column, the rock slid back into place, closing off the hole.
Danny carefully got off his bike and ran a hand through his dark hair. ”Home sweet home…” he muttered to himself.

”Sir…” a voice called from down the black cave that seemed to be held up entirely by endless rows of columns.

Without looking up to see who it was, Danny straightened out his jacket and began walking down the hall. ”Unless there has been some big change, don’t bother. Acacia already informed me of what was happening.”

A thin, rather sickly looking man with a long stringy gray beard stood near one of the columns wearing a dirty, unmistakably Greek outfit. In his boney hands, he held a clip board with a mess of papers clipped onto it. ”It has. I’m afraid Cerberus’s confusion has gotten worse. He’s keeping all of our residents within the gates, but he’s also been killing and tossing random souls within our gates as well. It seems they can’t decide on what the unfamiliar territory is outside the gates, who all the souls are walking around outside the gates, whether they’re escaped from us, if they’re intruders, if they all should be ignored. Not one of those beasts can agree on what to do.” the man replied.

”I’ll go calm them down then.” Danny said, moving right past him and continued down the hall. The scrawny man followed closely behind him.

”Luckily no one has taken interest in your kingdom other than a handful of random souls and demons that seemed more interested in Cerberus.” he said.

”Good. I have no interest in interfering with anyone unless absolutely necessary. I won’t be getting any new souls since Greece didn’t make it to this world. Unless of course one of those witches die, but there’s no hope for that any time soon.” Danny said with a sigh.

”We still have plenty of souls to feed off of, Lord Hades.”

”For now…” Danny said quietly as they passed under a large arched opening.
The two now came upon a large, grand scale room filled with Greek artifacts ranging from nearly every era. A large glowing pool sat in the center of the room, and sparkling silver orbs drifted out of it and faded in the air above it. A few figures wearing clothing close to the man behind Hades walked about the great hall. Some perfectly visible, some ghostly and transparent, and others were barely visible at all.
Large arched passageways lined the large room. And from one of them, vicious, evil barking echoed out of with enough force to shake the pottery within the room.
