: D I actually studied music education for my Independent Study class this year. For a while I thought majoring in music was for me but, that was the stupidest thing I ever did. Music is just a hobby for me.
I plan on double majoring in Pyschology and either Criminology or Criminal Justice depending on where I end up for college. And after getting a PhD I want to become a Forensic Pyschologist. Such an obscure carrer. I talk with the band directors all the time and they think it's awsome since it's so obscure. I'm one of three bassoonist so I suppose we're naturally the oddest section ( I play flute too but only for marching season. I played in for 7 years until I decided I was meant to be a bassoonist haha ). xP the other girl in the section is a hippie chick so it's all good.
Ast my school most of the bandies are ranked in the top five of the class and we're a huge 5A Texas school.

To a college t be a vet. The college has to have dorms, and a marching band. I'll never be happy if the college I go to doesn't have marching band. I'll also take courses in music and art. So I'll major in vet, art, and music. lolz.
I'll probably also visit my old High School, just to relive the memories of Marching Band. Band Camp is the best 3 weeks before school of my life. lolz.

I want to have a career in music, somehow. I was thinking being a music teacher for an elementary school, 'cause I wouldn't be able to conduct a band. But being a music teacher at an elementary school probably wouldn't get me paid much. My parents don't support the idea of music as a career. They want me to be a dentist or doctor, but it's just, those are boring jobs. :F And I keep telling them, "I went from playing french horn to now bassoon. Know how much money you'll be wasting on my reeds and how much it was for that mouthpiece?" So yeah. And my band teacher says that colleges would like french horn and bassoon players, heh heh. Honestly, I might just turn out giving private lessons. It's a good deal of money and you get to teach someone else how to play an instrument. How rewarding is that? Haha.
