Kazuki Habaragi Kazuki noticed Shiki's movement and how her chakra didn't change in any way so he knew she wasn't using a clone or substitution. He wondered how she did that and made a mental note to research it later.

Kyou Koubadeyou Kyou blinked, it didn't work. She saw her sensei dissapear, but she could still see her chakra. It got closer, and closer. Move! Why didn't she move?! Kyou was frozen in place, not knowing what to do. There were shuriken and Kunai comeing at her, but she couldn't get herself to move. She blinked as the sand shot up in front of her, releived that they had all missed. Wait... She glanced at her arm, seeing something... it was... blood. She hadn't realized before that she had gotten cut by something. She cringed and put her hand over the wound, blood oozing through her fingers. She cringed in pain as she touched it. Not good... this is going to slow her down... this was bad. THink, think, think... how was she doing that? She had slowed down before, then she sped up... what was missing? Wait... she had been keeping her eyes on the sky... the cloud... that was it! "The sun! That's how she's doing it!" she said aloud once it all clicked, that had to be it.

Ichi looked over at Kyou and saw that she was bleeding. He had told her that he would defend her but she got hurt anyways. As soon as he saw that he Ran over to the girl; and crouched down next to her. "T-the sun?" He asked confused, he then shrugged slightly and put his hands on the ground before moving them up.
As he did so the dessert floor seemed to move entirely, at least the thin top layer; the sand then floated into the sky and make a thin layer of Sand about twenty feet up and half a foot thick blocking all the light from coming through' This was not the sand natural movement and he was holding it up with his own chakra; which was slowly seeping his chakra out of him.
He looked up just in time to see there teacher charging at them; with out a movement the sand in front of them that was on the ground rose up and formed a orb around the teacher; who was still standing in the shade; a moment later the Orb, as well as well as the half foot thick later of sand all came crashing down, parting away from all three Genin, leaving them unharmed. Ichi was now breathing hard, and running low on chakra; his figure a bit wobbly as he crouched next to Kyou.

Kazuki Habaragi Kazuki watched as Ichi raised a large wall of sand above them. 'That has to take a lot of chakra', he thought. He heard Kyou's statement and looked up at the cloud. Of course! He hadn't thought about it before. What exactly was she doing though?

 The light had been blocked, and so had her movements. This restricted her from moving any further, and became quite difficult for her to read out her team's heat and color.
Then all at once, the sand had crashed over her, and slammed her body straight to the ground as the mass piled over her.
When she had been knocked down, she did not know what to say. She had picked herself off the ground, but merely stared at the two who had crouched there on the ground.
... Then slowly, her eyes had returned to its original black color and smiled as she walked over to them...
... Patting Kyou and Ichi on the head like an older sibling would,
"Good job... You pass..."

As Shiki's hand reached Ichi's head a think layer of sand blocked her hand just before she made contact with him' this was not intentionally but it simply happened naturally. The kagekage, Ruka, and his sister being the only people who this did not activate against. "T-thanks" He said slowly and wobbly getting to his feet; holding up that much sand was much more then he had ever trained doing before.
He then looked down at Kyou. "S-sorry.... i didn't block that.... like i said i would" He said looking sad that she had gotten hurt.

Kyou Koubadeyou Kyou looked at Ichi as he came over and crouched next to her. She held her arm as she looked at her. "I-I'm fine..." she lied and she looked at her sensei as she walked closer and closer. Kyou looked up at her with fear in her eyes, worried what she might do, but instead of attacking she just patted her on the head. "R-realy...? We... we passed...?" she said as she looked at her. She looked back at Ichi as he appologised again. "I-It's okay... it's not your fault..." she said as she stood up slowly. "C-can you take the bandage out of my back pack for me...?" she asked him.

Kazuki Habaragi Kazuki walked over and clapped his hands. "Good job you guys! I honestly thought you couldn't do it, but you guys pulled it off, I'm impressed."Kazuki was glad his team was able to do some things at the very least. ((Gotta go for a bit-dinner time))

Ichi nodded to Kyou and reached over and opened her back, pulling out some bandages out and wrapped her hand, not very well; but good enough; He acted as though he had never been hurt or used bandages before and was only using them by memory of watching others use them.
He then turned to Kazuki and smiled lightly; almost falling as he turned; catching himself lightly. "T-thanks" he said rubbing the back of his head lightly before looking back at Kyou. "B-better?"

Kyou Koubadeyou Kyou looked at Ichi as he wrapped her arm. She glanced at Kazuki as he complimented them, slightly... it ws also an insult. "gee, thanks..." she muttered and glanced back at Ichi as he finished with her arm. "Yea, thanks." she said takeing the extra bandage and her claws and slipping them in her back pack and putting it back on her back.

Ichi looked at the Jounin and then down at the ground as he spoke. "S-so what's next?" he asked wanting to get everything out of the way so that he could get back to reading; but as soon as those words left his mouth he was sure he was going to regret asking his teacher that.

Shiki was a bit surprised that the sand had blocked her hand, but smiled nonetheless behind her clothed mask and petted Kyou's head instead, "You both did well. And yes, really. You can start first thing tomorrow as real genin. Understood?" she said, her tone light but still official as she turned in Kazuki's direction, "As you should've figured by now, I'm blind. But what I lack in sight, I make up for in seeking light in objects that reflect and refract heat and color. Depending on how I use my eyes. But it was pretty clever of you, Ichite. Figuring out my weakness like a skilled strategist," she said, her tone smug as she turned to Ichite, "Your grandparents will be so proud as to hear that from their grandson. You can either go home, or let me treat you to dinner. Your choice."

Kazuki Habaragi Kazuki's eyes widened. She was blind!?! This fact made him admire his teacher even more. 'Man! She is so cool!', he thought. He walked over to Ichi and Kyou. He turned to Kyou. "Sorry. Earlier, I thought you were kinda useless not doing anything to help me in the rice shop." He felt bad saying this but felt she should hear his earlier premonitions of her. "I'm glad that you guys did pass though. Now we are fully fledged genin and are in a team. Kyou, we can do missions like you wanted." He smiled a wide grin as he said this. "I'll take you up on that dinner offer. Sounds good. ((EDIT))

Ichi looked at the teacher and smile slightly. "I.... w-will go with you; if i go home my Grandpa.... will just p-pick on me" He said truthfully, That and he was hungry, using that much chakra drained him quite a bit and his body wanted food to make up for the lack of energy. He then looked at the others Just in time to see the other Genin answer, now he waited to see what Kyou would do.

Kyou Koubadeyou Kyou glanced at her sensei as she praised Ichi for finding her weakness. Kyou thought she had been the one to point out the connection to the sun, but she just let it drop, it didn't matter... he deserved the praise, he did more then her... She looked back at Kazuki as he cpmmented on ow useless she was. Wrong choice of words... "Well you thought wrong... I find it better to analyze things and oponents before running in and doing anything, so just because I didn't do anything, didn't mean that I didn't do anything." she said simply. Kyou was usualy very shy and quiet, but she can talk when she wanted to, and when he called her useless, that was giving her a big reason to talk, and she was glad she did.
