HIYO MIYAKI

Hiyo felt a small tug from his line and tugged, digging the barbs into two unfortunate curious fish. He began pulling in the line, sneaking glances at the two people, the looks on their faces were quite funny due to the look of sheer terror from watching Yukai cut up the small fish. He gave a sigh pulling the two fish out of the water, they were indeed deep water fish, they were quite larger and had darker scales in comparison to their shiny brethren. Hiyo gave a smile while cutting off the tails, "sushi sounds really good..."

HIYO MIYAKI

As the small boat docked Hiyo stood and began walking to the plank. His legs were still kink of strained, but he could feel the chakra fully surging through his body, he had fully recovered. As soon as the boat had docked Hiyo took off into a dead sprint, they were so close to Mist he could smell the faint shops in the distance. However, he was amazed to find the gates to Mist so easily. He paused and made his vow once more, "I will, get the information I want..."

It had hardly been three days since the last boat ride, but there Shuniji was, out on the open seas, casting out what little he'd eaten during that time period into the ocean.

"Huur--Koff-koff-koff..." Nothing was coming up anymore, but the boy kept retching anyway. The passengers and crew had chalked it up to being sea-sickness, but Shuniji had been cycling between nausea, dizziness and general chest pains since yesterday.

He stared listlessly out at the inky black water. He closed his eyes and saw the same colored. Open; black; closed; black; open... It was comforting. He hadn't slept in two days and was already wanting to fall overboard and end the terrible sensations... or at least pass out again. That part of the deal wasn't so bad.

It was hardly the impending heart failure that was bothering him, no, it was the mission failure that was looming over him like a dark cloud that was really making him want to curl up and die. Sure he had something to tell the Otokage, though the fuzzy feeling in his head was making it rather difficult to remember exactly WHAT it was he was going to report. Where was he again..?

He leaned his forehead against the ship's railing with a soft "clink" from his forehead protector and tried to find solace in the soft rocking of the ship. Back and forth, back and forth; it was quiet and breezy. Most of the other passengers had gone below deck (partially due to Shuniji's rather violent... "fits" over the side of the bow) and had left the shinobi mostly alone on deck. The odd crew member busied themselves outside around Shuniji, and their unintentional companionship helped to comfort the young man. As far as he knew, he was the only ninja aboard the vessel, so he let his facade slip a little, reveling in the peaceful atmosphere. Back and forth, back and forth; the maternal motion was beginning to rock him to sleep.

Then his chest clenched again. This time he didn't do much more than wince. He was becoming far too familiar with the feeling. Not paying it another thought, he distracted himself with the footfalls of the crew members and the gentle shifting of the waves...

A particularly violent wave knocked Shuniji's head into the railing, causing him to awake with a start, and fall over gasping. Had he stopped breathing in the night? Damnit. Seal-induced sleep apnea was not fun. If it didn't go against every fiber of his hero-worshiping, Sound ninja body, he'd be cursing the Otokage for designing such a nefarious jutsu.

He clenched the railing he'd been passed out against and wrenched himself up. A couple passengers had seemingly forgave Shuniji for vomiting all over everything earlier and rejoined him up on deck to watch the sun rise. They did collectively send him a worried glance as he stretched sleepily, only to nearly fall back over the railing in pain.

"U-Ugh..." The ninja pulled himself off the bow and looked up. Ah... must be land... He wasn't sure whether the warm feeling in his chest was joy at seeing his home country, or if his heart had finally exploded and he was bleeding all over his internal organs. Still, he felt slightly relieved that there might still be a chance at him actually surviving the mission. Maybe. Otokage willing.

Seika stared blankly at the ocean, it was difficult to predict just what exactly was on her mind. The appearance she always wanted. Though for some reason the crew members kept staring at Seika. She assumed it was her attire, but it was actually just her abnormally large chest. thirteen year old girls shouldn't really have that big of a chest...it should actually be considered a deformity. Seriously. Though, Seika could honestly care less about the people around her. She didn't need their attention. There was an occasional wince of pain from her heart seal. Seika straightened her posture and made her way over to a small barrel that was close to the front of the ship and sat down. She was going to try her luck at sleeping. Something she never did on a regular basis. Though, Technically it wasn't sleeping..more of a meditative slumber. Not exactly asleep, but not fully awake. Seika lightly sighed and turned her music up very loud and closed her eyes. Almost instantly her head fell forward rather limply. She'd try not to think about failing the mission and try to get what she feared may be the last time she'll ever 'Sleep'

Kaichou stood at the side of the ferry, leaning heavily on the railing. It wasn't much of a task for it to support the weight from his torso and arms. He let a small grunt escape his stitched up mouth and pulled his gaze over to Seika who was sleeping for once. He figured that she was going to sleep the whole ride back at this rate. guess conversing about how she's going to fail the mission was out of the question. Kaichou stood up and straightened his posture. Even so. The way he stood made his posture seem very stiff, but it was something he couldn't help. Kai made his way over to Seika and quietly sat next to her.

It sort of irked him that she didn't seem at all bothered by the severity of her situation. Shun was way ahead of them. Of course he excluded himself from their mission because his task was something entirely different. Seika on the other hand, would probably end up loosing at this rate. Why was he the only one that was worried about this? Or maybe he wasn't...it could be that Seika's just bottling up her worries again. Well if anything he hoped that was the case. At least she's aware of what will come if she doesn't make it before Shun does. In all honesty Kaichou didn't want to see Seika end up like him...or worse. His worried thoughts were interrupted by a sharp increasing pain in his chest. Pain was normal for him, but the heart seal topping it off really made it difficult to bear with.

''Stop worrying about me.'' Seika said almost unconsciously and slowly opened one eye and gave her twin a side-long glance. She could easily pick up on Kaichou's thoughts. Even if she was in a meditative slumber. It wasn't a hard task. Especially when she was sitting right next to him. ''What you're thinking about is old news to me. Did you really think I'd choose overlook the punishment for being last?'' Seika knew that she'd have no chance of getting ahead of Shun and accepted it after he sort of ditched the two of them. Truth be told. Seika already spent the WHOLE mission worrying about that. For now she just wanted to enjoy the few hours of peace she'd probably ever get. ''Besides, why do you care? You're Shun's fan boy. Why don't you go party about his success or something.'' She spoke with a fair bit of spite. Wishing Kaichou to leave her in peace. Seika's lip seemed to be pursed as well, Did his thoughts strike a nerve? No..it was her own comment that upset her. She took a deep breath and closed her eye again. ''Maybe it's best you leave me alone.'' Seika said solemnly and turned her head away, signaling she didn't want to have any further discussions with him. Judging by the crews recent activity they had a little less than thirty minutes left. An instant chill went up her spine, making her shiver a bit. They were getting close to home. Was she...scared?

Kaichou blinked in surprise. He didn't expect Seika to be reading his thoughts. How rude! Despite her barging in on his thoughts. He continued to listen attentively with a rather calmed look, but it seemed to twist into a scowl as she continued to speak. It wasn't exactly fair of her to pin him up for being close to Shun, but then again. There were a few times where he threatened her and brought up Shun. Must have been where she got that idea. It still hurt his feelings...very much so. He still loved his sister. Why would she say something awful like that? Kai shifted around uncomfortably on the wooden floor, Keeping his gaze off her. He refused to leave. If Seika wanted peace, she'd have to leave her spot. Besides his spot was all warm now and it's not like he had anywhere else to sit...especially after a few failed attempts to hit on the crew members. Pssht, Tight asses.

Seika tried her best to ignore Kaichou and eventually wondered back off to sleep. Her music seemed to leave her in a sort of trance. Of course it was necessary. Anything to keep her from dreaming. The wind seemed to pick up, blowing Seika's bangs out of her face. It was actually a very comfortable day. She awoke to a sudden 'THUD'. The boat's abrupt docking launched her out of her sitting position and ended up face-planting the deck. ''Ugh...I hate boats.'' She moaned and stood up, rubbing at her sore face. At last they were home, but why wasn't she happy? Deep down, Seika knew exactly why. But she pretended not to know. She didn't want to, but the Village itself was a constant reminder that she lost the race. It was her fault too...She didn't HAVE to tell Shun, but she did anyway. Indeed, Seika had such a weak heart. Her fingers began to twitch at her thoughts. 'I shouldn't have told him.' She thought and gritted her teeth. Though, her thoughts were interrupted by her Cat who was rubbing against her leg. She returned a smile to Neko-chan and gently picked her up. Before leaving, she shot a glance at Kai and continued forward.

laying next to the railing of the boat to the mist was the genin with a reputation for doing nothing as he watched many jounin as well as passengers heading back home as well.as riku had laid there with one eye open he contemplated how the next "step" of his life was going to flow muttering to himself in a quiet tone "i need more jutsu i need to get stronger.....how? " when he rolled over on his side to see two jounin laughing and conversing with an old couple most likely clients and on the opposite side of the ship a man leaning over the railing vomiting large amounts and wiping his mouth repeatedly.
PostPosted: Tue Apr 27, 2010 11:18 pm

riku had seen kiri in sight and this brought a serious look onto his face "power...its like my heroin...i need.it." and the boat swayed as it pushed forward jounin anxious to get home leapt off the boat and ran on the waters edge in the direction of home when riku glared at the two and jumped after them skidding on the waters surface, this would be a part of his training.

as riku was maybe a three yards behind he dashed to catch up,the jounin ahead of him were at what appeared to them a slow pace as he was about to catch up one of the mist jounin had jumped backwards facing riku with a puzzled look "ey check this out...this kid is trying to keep up...Yo! youve got a lot to learn kid!..." and then the jounin body flickered faster when the other trailed after smirking and riku stopped exhausted and puffing as he saw them going farther and farther almost to shore.

the puppeteer then smirked and dashed off again racing to beat them as one turned his head to his comrade "hey...kawa* dont you think that was kinda mean doing that he's only a ki-" and riku was right back where he had been his speed had increases and he was tailing them when the other jounin had said "why you little brat!?" and kicked at riku's head when riku smirked and ducked and rolled under his leg and jumping backwards he threw a jab to the jounins chest when the jounin caught it and flipped riku behind him and kicked again landing and forcing riku to bounce on the waters surface when riku had rose up and said "face me now!" and the jounin smirked and stopped taking a scroll from his pouch and letting it unroll with a poof of smoke "heh...fine ill play...don't cry if you get hurt-" and he was cut off to riku body flickering above him "You talk to much!' with a kunai clutched in both hands and the smoke clearing the jounin stepped back as the smoke finally cleared he held in his hand a long scythe looking weapon as he swung at the puppet user riku watched his elbows and knees anticipating his movements as he grabbed his puppet and threw the kunai up in the air and flicking his puppet to the jounin when the kunai came down he ran after the puppet and grabbed the kunai and threw it as the puppets pin wheel buzzed and charged forward.
PostPosted: Tue Apr 27, 2010 11:55 pm

the jounin sidestepped and evaded the kunai as well as the pin wheel only to kick the puppet in the chest and away from him when he ran after riku he swung to quickly and riku pulled his line of chakra and the puppet returned and aimed for his scythe only to miss and land in riku's hand when he rushed the jounin the softer jounin folded his arms and shook his head "oi....this is so lame." and walked back as riku had been keeping up with the jounin who would in seconds have the upper hand and force a minor scratch to the genins cheek as blood trickled down the jounin slashed away aiming for riku's neck when the mist genin dodged and moved on the balls of his feet walking backwards this was helping him train his tai-jutsu skill in battle as the genin then threw his puppet at him again and forced the claw on him the thin layer of chakra outlined the puppets claw but it wasnt the flying swallow technique he was training for it as he then came up with the idea in the midst of battle -" i need a new puppet..." as the jounin kicked him in the stomach and he fell on the waters edge only to have the jounin carry him on his shoulder and catch up with his friend "Lets swing by the hospital this genin exerted too much chakra and needs rest...i'll hate to admit it but he did a good job keeping up...he did seem to be trying to make me let go of my scythe...hah! he has guts f**king with me..." when his friend interrupted and said in a gentle tone "sounds like yuudai's sort of training..."chuckling they reached shore and the hidden mists hospital.

User Image Ren sat on the boat, staring blankly at the waters and absently scratching Neko-chan's ear in a way it seemed to like. He was glad to be going home, away from all the craziness of the chunin exams, but there was a tugging in his chest that he was unfamiliar with. He was thinking about Seika. Maybe he should have tried to find her... to return the cat of course! Yeah... that was it. He wanted to return Neko-chan.
...How the hell did he even win??? Gah! His mind was eveywhere! There were so many things on his mind. He won the third round, but it didn't seem real. He didn't think he could have possibly won that. Did this mean he was going be promoted? Being chunin would be pretty cool. He hadn't resolved a single thought in his hectic mind when the boat docked in the Land of Water. As he stood, Neko-chan lept off his lap and followed him closely behind as he made his way to the village.
Well- if they promoted him it would mean he'd get to make good on his promise to show Seika around Mist as a chunin.

Shiro aburame

Shiro paid the fisherman as they walked onto the small-but-quality boat. He stood at the front of the ship as it took off, smiling slightly at the familiar smell of the sea. He felt, aside from the dissapointment, that he had gained something from the chunin exams. Power. Only slightly, but power nonetheless. His mind worked as he thought of possible uses for the power.

Shiro aburame

Shiro pulsed water out of his mouth as the boat started sputtering across the water. He had thought of a very good outlet for his power. A new jutsu, a rather famous one using water style. The water style: water prison technique. First, he would try to make the form. Then, after he had mastered holding the watery orb, he would work on the actual useful part of the jutsu, the powerful binding.
