"I'm glad to hear that" he says as he pulls on the binds one last time before tying it to add a bit more pressure then responds "Because the last part is the one that actually hurts. Well I considering them the fun loving people. Some good times there." He gives her a weird look then responds in a confuse d voice. "The United States, the Colonies. It's a place West of Britain across the Atlantic Ocean. You've never heard of it? It did exist in the 1800's I know that. I traveled there the beginning of that century from Britain"

"How fare out of the loop are you? The Colonies fought Britain and won. They became their own country are now more feared then all of Great Britain." He exclaims with surprise. "Unless you want me to call you She Vampire I suggest telling me your name. Your quick tongue seems to lash more then answer questions." He checks her bindings one more time then lowers her shirt. Garret stands back up and starts walking down the hall all while keeping track on her out of the corner of his eye. He had no ambitions of leaving himself open. She may need him but she is still dangerous in many ways.

"I did but then you pistol whipped me. It's Garret, Garret Morgan this time. I change my last name every fifty years so no one questions how long I've been alive. It's best to be a shadow in this time. It's safer for everyone. It's been so long I can't remember my original name." He looks back to her then explains. "I do know the best way out but right now we need to worry about your condition. You still need blood and w e have to patch up that wound. That is a temporary fix at best. If we have to run or get in a fight you'll make it worse. I'm looking for a rest area they usually keep med kit....a box with what I need to sow your wound up." He turns to her and smiles for once. "Don't worry I'll make sure you get out of here in one piece. I promise"

"Hitting me with the first weapon the firearm is what I called it. Hitting someone with the weapon the way you did is called pistol wiping. If you think you'll be fine then we don't have to patch you up any more. But being silent will make hunting a bit easier." Garret stops and hugs the corner holding up his hand trying to make Rena stop. He whispers "I think I hear foot steps. When you're from a poor family no one cares about your heritage. You should know, back then the lower class were barley considered people."

"With these people yes. They have learned to fear me. But I find it best to be a shadow in everyday life. Bets not to draw attention to oneself. Vampires are not always warmly welcomed." He whispers then creeps to the corner of the hallway and peaks around it. of f in the distance he notices a flashlight searching the hallway. he heads back to Rena and whispers "I think we found your next meals. Be patient and we'll be out of here in no time" He creeps back to the corner watching for a beam of light.

He turn to her and with a hint of confusion in his voice and responds "We? Who is this we?" Quickly his attention is drawn back to the hallway. He looks back now seeing not one but two beams of light. Garret turn to Rena and growls with a low tone "Be quiet! Do you want to draw attention to us? Were hunting, that should be your only concern right now."

Groans of frustration were all he could gather from this conversation. "I said I'd get you out of here and I will but..." Garret tries to regain some composure but this girl has finally started to get to him. "Can't you wait for your meal to come to us? We can jump then from behind. Or would my lady prefer I gut them and bring the blood in a silver dish for you" he sarcastically, frustratingly, and forcefully whispers.

"You're just trouble......" was all Garret could respond with. He was so annoyed he could barley think strait. Stay calm concentrate Why am I here? on the pray. Why her of all people?! breath. Was he mouth filled with barbwire as a child? concentrate....These thoughts circled his head making it hard for him to focus. Pulling back and forth he could not maintain a clear thought. Soon is body started duplicating his mind, causing Garret to start pacing back and forth. Futilely he tries to regain composure when the enemy's footsteps finally reached right near the corner. He jumps out delivering a forceful palm thrust to one of the guards throat crushing his windpipe. He then quickly covers the other guards mouth and pushes the startled man against the wall, while drawing his knife. Completely off guard Garret sees his opening and stabs his victim in the temple. One guard is quieted, dazed, and in pain; the other is dead almost instatly. Garret breaths then chocks out to Rena "Fresh blood" .
