"That is always a pity to get duplicate presents, but I suppose it is unavoidable if your friends and family do not talk together about what to get you." His eyes glanced to the things he had out, attempting to decipher which "that" Tatiana was referencing. Unable to decide between the garbage or the gift bag, he answered in regards to both.
"I can take care of my own waste, but thank you for the offer. Or, if you are the sort who recycles gift bags, then I suppose I could part with this one, if it is your preference."
Since her hand was already out, he politely took it within his own and yet again gave it a small kiss upon the pointer knuckle. More than likely, it was not what the girl meant with the gesture, but he figured it could not hurt to offer his infamous farewell at that moment. He hadn't quite stood up yet, but when he did, he smiled to the girl as if she had not discovered one of his dirtier secrets. "Do take care of yourself, Miss Tatiana. I look forward to our next encounter." He made no motion towards any of his possessions yet, simply waiting politely to see if the girl wanted her gift bag back or not.

She shook her head. "No, it was the waste, not the gift bag--which you can--" Eep. Eep. As she had every single time Howl had done the whole hand-kiss deal, she turned bright red and hurried to reclaim her hand; she smiled, still seeming embarrassed, and said: "A-all right, see you around, Mr. Wickham."
Then Tate beat a hasty retreat. Howl was just too well-mannered for her, it seemed.

Well, Miss Tatiana's cheeks certainly did flush quite quickly. Howl couldn't help but chuckle a bit once the girl had fled the scene. For being so polite with him, she certainly did not seem to maintain any grace with his departures. Without any sort of hesitation, he took up the gift bag with his dainty fingers and folded it up. He pulled out his gym bag and tucked the gift packaging towards the bottom before zipping the bag up again. Howl stood up, taking up his gym bag in one hand, the lunch waste in the other. The simple act of throwing away his garbage almost looked regal when Howl did it. However, he did manage to get a slight bit of filth on his finger, which he literally looked at as if he had just cut the thing completely off.
Well, he'd need to stop at the restroom before heading back to Hillworth, strictly just to wash it off. After all, it would be completely disgusting to walk around with ketchup on his finger.
