Oh my gosh! The Kichi/Kyla scene was so cute. Makes me want to squee and blush at the same time. Such a sweet scene.
Go Kichi! Go Kyla! *Thumbs up at them both with a wink*

Quote: [4:27:20 PM] Soryuju: Summons aren't meant to be used as messengers. They're not supposed to travel away from their summoners for any sort of noticeable distance. [4:27:35 PM] Soryuju: What Enji is doing right now is alright, because Nich is right next door [4:27:45 PM] Soryuju: And summons can go somewhat far in battle [4:28:08 PM] Soryuju: But the thing is, due to the fact that they're actually BOUND to your heart, it's very much like a piece of your heart is traveling away from you. [4:28:42 PM] Soryuju: So just keep that in mind

That Kichi/Kyla ((Ki(n)Ky, *is shot*)) scene was beautifully done by both parties. ^w^ Kyla art is, as ever, a big treat. And this picture made me laugh. XDD The music was really fitting, too. And I love "Carbuncle"! It's a little kitty/thingy. I wanna hug 'im and squish 'im and call him George. mrgreen Also, thanks Rhiko. I love your fayc. *face clings* See? whee

Soryuju Ryutetsin We've been trying to get to the next day for months now. Later tonight (Tuesday, July 20th), I will be making a post starting the next day, and GMing everyone into bed or asleep or... whatever. If you prefer to do more things before going to sleep, like finishing a conversation, take it to the ATE thread. That's what the thread is for- describing events that go on between story events, so to speak.

The Next Worlds, and What's Happened Since Angel Grove / Hawaii:The island has been in chaos for the past month. With the forced arrival of the Galactic Council (from Lilo and Stitch) on the Hawaii side, the residents have had to get used to the idea of aliens, both good and bad, as some of Stitch's 'cousins' have been wreaking havoc. On the Angel Grove side, Rita Repulsa's moon palace has been forced into the side of the mountain volcano; however, Ivan Ooze has taken over in her place, and has for the past month caused absolute chaos in the streets. This has only been compounded by the arrival of 'space' pirates in search of the hidden bounty of 'Treasure Planet'. Aided by some mysterious additional party, they've been given airships capable of taking on the Power Zords of the Power Rangers and the space fleet of the Galactic Council. The pirates have joined forces with Ivan Ooze, who is also capable of controlling Heartless. Together, these groups have total chaos on both sides. Within the past few days (since the arrival of the Earthlings), all of the adults of Angel Grove have mysteriously vanished, leaving the children, young and older, to protect themselves from both Heartless, Ooze's men, and the Pirate raids. The Power Rangers have been on high alert, appearing often and almost constantly in battle. The Galactic Council is doing their best to aid the citizens of Hawaii from the pirate raids, as well as Stitch's 'cousins'. Port Royal / Atlantica:The events of Dead Man's Chest have already played out, as well as the beginning of At World's End. In the past few weeks, Port Royal has been taken over by the East Indian Trading Company. The island town is practically a prison now, and no one is around to do anything about it. Elizabeth Swann and William Turner have visited Tia Dalma, and with the help of Barbosa, have sought out the Pirate Lord of the South China Sea, Sao Feng, for a map to Davy Jones' locker. However, when they reached the locker, they only find the Pearl. After returning to the real world, Sao Feng betrayed the group in order to obtain the Pearl and Elizabeth, who he believed was Calypso in human form. However, he was mortally wounded in the mutiny, and named Elizabeth as his successor. The group has since sailed back to Tia Dalma, hoping for some form of guidance in order to find Jack, the last Pirate Lord. Tortuga is still a 'safe-haven' for pirates and freedom, unlike Port Royal. Atlantica also hasn't changed much in the past month, though King Triton has become far more stressed with trying to protect his kingdom and his children; he is still somewhat worried about Ariel, but he will never admit it.

FINAL STATUS EFFECT FORMULA: Quote: :: How do status effects work?:: After a while of deliberation, we've decided to deal with status ailments using the stat system- specifically, the Magic Strength and Magic Defense stats (or Attack Strength and Guard Strength, if attempting to cause a status by pure physical means).
Unless the target is immune to the status, then follow this formula:
(Caster Magic Strength) / (2 x Target Magic Defense)
For example, Caster A has Magic Strength of 8 and wants to cast Poison on Target A, who has a Magic Defense of 3. Doing the math, you find the chances to be 8 / 6. The Caster automatically succeeds.
For a second example, Caster B (with Magic Strength 4) wants to cast Confusion on Target B (with Magic Defense 7). Doing the math, you find the chances to be 4 / 14. Using the Random Number Generator, you set the numbers to 1 and 14, and if you roll a number between 1 and 4, you succeed.
Keep in mind that if someone tries to inflict a status ailment by physical means ALONE, then Magic Strength is replaced with Attack Strength, and Magic Defense is replaced with Guard Strength, meaning:
('Caster' Attack Strength) / (Target Guard Strength)
Only Addle, Cripple, Disable, Poison, and Stun/Delay/Daze may be caused using these methods. They may be cast magically, as well.

Only thing I noticed out of place was Stun/Dazed. In the games, a single hit will cure you of the daze, so I'm not sure how "2-3 hits" would be allowed unless they were a simultaneous barrage.

How exactly is Dani used to darkness? Sorry, that in particular caught my attention. Even Cory, who has an abnormally high resistance to Darkness' effects, feels a tug at his heart when using the Dark Corridors.
