Reyson frowned, crossing his arms. "Of course they're delicious!" The nerve of this wolftaur, he sighed, shaking his head plucking off a ripe tomato and tossing it towards her. "Try it."
Aditya laughed at Reyson before patting Nina gently on the back, "Don't worry Nina. It's like it just came from a garden. It just happened to grow faster. That's all." She smiled brightly at the both of them.

Nina's ears flipped back at Reyson's tone. "I'm sorry." She clung to the tomato, petting it gently with her finger tips, feeling it out, almost trying to show that she accepted the fruit to prove she meant no offense.
Encouraged by Aditya, she slowly lifted the fruit to her lips, taking a bite. Her ears perked back up, head tilting as she savored the juicy food. "It's delicious." She said, wagging her tail. She didn't want to admit, but it seemed better even than the ones in her garden back home.

Reyson's indignant posture changed to that of a proud pose. "See," he said, grinning, "It's good right?" Thankfully, the patchy cattaur's temper was easy to change. "And they're cheap too. I don't sell them for much." he crossed his arms over his sweater proudly.
"Is there anything else you want?" he asked, motioning with his head towards the others.
Aditya wagged her tail as well, glad that Nina liked the tomato. "Doesn't it feel so wonderful to have something like this in the winter?!" She crouched down, plucking a few tomatoes and bell peppers and putting them into her satchel, "I'll be taking a few of these...and maybe some others if you don't mind." she grinned at Reyson.

Nina smiled again, happy to see the male not looking at her so irritably again. She looked at the spread of veggies with a nod, glancing up at Aditya. "Can I buy some carrots? And the eggplant?" She looked up at the cattaur. "I've never had eggplant before, but it looks good. I'll surprise dad with it."

"Not at all~" he said with a smile to both wolftaurs. "Take whatever you need. It's all here for you guys." Reyson crouched down to pluck a few eggplants for Nina. "I'm not really sure how to eat these, but I heard they're good."
It was quite pitiful to say that he didn't eat some of the vegetables that he sold. But personally, he wasn't a vegetable taur anyways. Why eat these things when there were cows and fish around?
"I've heard if you bake them in the oven with a light coat of oil, they're pretty good." Aditya said matter-of-factly. "Perhaps we can try and test it out for your dad?" she stood up, stretching out her legs, feeling a little sore. She closed her satchel carefully, smiling at how bulgy it looked with the tomatoes and peppers inside.

"Thank you, Aditya! That'd be lovely." she placed the eggplant and carrots into her own bag, then searched around for the coins she had left from her previous purchases. "How much is it?"

Reyson scratched his head. How much would that be...? He peeked over Nina's shoulder, poking a few coins out of her hand and into his own, "I'll take this." It wasn't much, but it was enough to get him a small piece of fish. He grinned at both wolftaurs, watching the plants shrink down back to seeds. "Thanks for business."
Aditya paid Reyson a handful of coins herself, grinning back, "I'll be having a wonderful feast for the next few days now." She turned to Nina, "So...what do you think we should do now? Do you have anything else you need to buy?"

"Thank you." Nina said, bowing her head slightly to the male. She would have to tell Dad and Raine about him.
She shook her head at Aditya. "Nope. I've already got what I came for. The veggies are just a bonus." Her tail swayed side to side. "I am a little hungry though. We could figure out how to serve the eggplant."

Reyson grinned, rattling the coins around in his palm. It was nice to have some money. "Oh no. Thank you. Now I'll have fish to eat tonight." With another flick of his patchy tail, the plants surrounding them withered back down into their seed state. He squatted down to gather the seeds into his cloth. Well, he was done for the day wasn't he?
"Bonuses are good." Aditya grinned, holding out her hand towards Nina. "My house your house to cook?" she asked, tail swishing. "We could cook a lot food for your father tonight!"
"And ourselves too." she added as an afterthought.

After watching in awe as the plants receded into their seeds, Nina eagerly grabbed her new friend's hand, caught up in the excitement. "Well, whichever you want. We could go to your place, where we could mess up and then no one would know about it, or we could go try to feed dad and Raine if they're both home." She cocked her head, contemplating the possibilities.
