Cancer had never seen someone mutilate their own fuku. Her eyes widened as she watched Sailor Iris tear the ribbon off her back-- why was she doing that? Was the ribbon actually some sort of weapon?

Glancing at Sirona, the scantily clad senshi felt like the odd-one out. Why did these two have the more traditional senshi outfits and she was wearing her almost totally see-through dress. Although, none of the Zodiacs looked like the usual senshi from the news sketches or anything.

The barrier around the youma was beginning to bend on its attacks and Cancer winced; it was taking a bit of her energy to keep the barrier active now.

"Alright, suck up your courage and hit it with everything you've got." She stepped back, smacking into the bed. Dear god there wasn't much room to maneuver in here.

"I'm about to loose the barrier." And with a thump from the youma's tail, the barrier dropped like a sack of stones.

"Suck up your courage?" Wow, that sounded horribly lame if anything. Sailor Iris shot the senshi in the nightgown a look of amusement. She said nothing more, but her mind was laughing it up.

"Yeah, you guys 'suck up' all th'courage y'want! Leave this one t'me!" The moment the barrier dropped, the Senshi of Rainbows dashed in, a wild grin on her face. If there was one way to get the teenage tomboy's pent up rage out, it was in a fight against a Youma.

The moment she was immediately in front of the strange naga Youma, she warned "So, y'ready t'see some new colors?" Her smile was still rather dangerous in appearance. Courageously (or foolishly, take your pick of adverbs) she then threw a punch towards the monster's face. This thing had been practically begging to get beat up, and Sailor Iris was a big fan of fist fighting when she could.

Nevermind the fact the other two in the room didn't seem as eager to screw around. Nevermind the fact that Sailor Iris should have probably used her Rainbow Slicer. Oh no. This was going to be fun, whether anybody else agreed with her or not.

Ji-Yeon cringed as Ellie threw a direct fist at the youma's horrific facial features. That had to hurt. A horrific shriek that sent chills up and down her back came from the direction of the youma. Uh-oh. That was one ugly battle cry, Ellie had better prepare herself. Ji-Yeon would, err, speculate from the corner and rush to aid when it was all over.

That blonde had the audacity to hit its' beautiful face! With a sarcastic cackle, and a slither of its' attractive tongue, the youma attempted another direct hit at the senshi. The punch had made the youma become some-what, crazy, if you will. A flurry of tail-throwing attacks aimed at Ellie began. It was going to be leaving the hospital with a handful of starseeds, even if it was a battle to the death.

Okay, so Azzo had a point. A very good one at that but... To actually try and put up a fight? Or even administer help when they knew nothing of medical technicalities? That was a bit on the crazy and rather foolish side. She almost said something too. Almost.

Instead the blonde simply sighed, a heavy one at that, and moved to follow the dark haired boy in his endeavor. She had to do something to help, guilt wouldn't let her otherwise, and some one had to keep a watch on this boy. "You're going to be the death of me, pup. I just know it."

The words that came from her mouth made him freeze. A quick sicking chill came over him as well, he closed his eyes and shook his head.

"Don't be silly." He muttered, as he continued on. "I wouldn't let you get hurt." He added, something in the back of his mind was screaming to be let out, however, no matter how hard he tried, it stayed locked there. Why did those words bring back a world of pain?

He headed for the Nurses station, it was one of the only ways out in this maze of a hospital. There he began to dig around the medical supplies they had.

"There has to be something useful.... Besides a desk to hide under." He was searching trying to not ******** up the nurse's paper work.

That tail was a real problem! Cancer moved in, putting herself between the madly swishing apendage and Iris. A chest blow hit her instead, knocking the senshi of protection right off her feet and blossoming a delightful color of pain up Cancer's spine.

Hol-eee s**t. She'd never taken a hit for someone else before. She'd never been hit before. "You rodent headed-half tailed fish!" She spat out.... definitely not a compliment.

Cancert was back on her feet in a smooth motion, her eyes darkening to storms. She reached out and her fingers closed around the cool metal of a fluid stand. Weilding the wheely end like a stick, she thrust it right toward the youma in a wild, uncontrolled arch.

Rainbow Senshi

As her fist crunched into the Youma's face, the Senshi of Rainbows could not help but smile as if she had just won the whole fight. Of course, she couldn't remain in place to become an easy target, so her momentary gloating had to wait as she jumped back to hopefully be out of the way. Sailor Iris jumped back, landing on the balls of her feet rather than flat on her foot (the heels on her boots made that a near impossible feat), and was quite easily greeted by the Youma's tail.

Mental note: Youma with long tails have longer reach, you idiot!

This wasn't a street brawl. In a street brawl, you had to defend yourself, and you did not have to worry so much about extended reach thanks to weapons or extra appendages. And in a street brawl, it was you versus them. This second realization came into play the moment Nightgown girl bounded in and took the hit for Sailor Iris.

If anything, all the Super Senshi could do was shake her head slightly. Nurse girl was doing nothing to speak of, and Nightgown girl had been an easy hit apparently. Despite the fact that Nightgown girl had just saved Iris from a hit, the Senshi of Rainbows had a particular label for the two other scouts. Useless. While jumping back again to keep out of the flailing tail's path of destruction, the blonde managed to grumble out something that resembled "Guess I should stop playin' around..."

Her right hand tightened into a fist, and rather quickly began to glow of an intense light. If one stared at the light, it would have started hurting the eyes if they lingered too long. Quite quickly, a brightly colored rainbow seemed to pop out from her hand. It almost burned to look at it, and even Sailor Iris had to squint slightly as she flung the intensely glowing rainbow at the Youma.

"Iris Rainbow Slicer!!!" she shouted. Her Slicer zipped in close, aiming for the Youma's neck. Just cut the monster's head off, and that would be the end of the story, right?

"Never said you'd let me get hurt," she replied with a shake of her head. "Just said you'd be the death of me. There is a difference."

And with that said, and her point clearly made, Melody moved to shuffle amongst the papers and drawers in search of something - anything - that would help them in their endeavor. But would exactly could they use against a monster? And what would the nurse's station have that they could use?

From what she remembered of Ignacio's mother's job around here most important and useful things were locked up some where. She just didn't know where... Not to mention the keys to such a place were likely with one of the nurses. Opening a drawer she pulled out a roll of bandages and some neosporin.

"... Well, if they need bandaging we can be of help?" Yea... they were better off outside where it was safe.

Azzo looked at Melody, obviously hurt by that. Probably hurt more than he should've been for some he obviously just met. Right? Yet it was still like they'd met before. He sighed, "You stabbed me deep there Mel."

He looked at the rolling chairs and shrugged grabbing one and pushed it towards the little exit to the station. "Think we can trip it up with some rolling chairs?" He asked curiously it was as if his devious plan wasn't going to go too damn far.

He paused and looked at her, "Well... at least they won't be infected." He said with a obvious grin. He didn't care if they couldn't help much. He wasn't walking his a** all the way outside just to be told to go back inside. Broken ribs ******** hurt. If they forgot him he was staying behind in case they were needed.

Remembering the ribs, and how much they were throbbing in protest he winced and held his closest arm against them to try to avoid aggravating them that much more.

The youma recieved a metal pole to its gut, at the same time that Iris let loose with her rainbow slicer.
It's voluptress snakey body shuddered and then, like many reptiles that hadn't realized that it was dead yet, began to /really/ thrash. It was fading, body turning to ash and energy, but in the meantime, there was a snake tail lashing around like it was on crack needing some munchies from a fridge behind--everyone, and the limbs were also flailing. Like the snake was fighting off a million tiny little bugs biting at it. Unfortunately the room was small, and there was not as much room to move as the decapitated corpse would have liked.
In other news, the head, neatly sliced from the body had a sort of 'uhhhh' look across its face; her eyes bugging out in pain. Apparently her last thought had been 'uhhhnnn'. Not all that romantic.

~

There was no time to even go 'oh s**t' for Cancer, one minute she was smacking snake-guts with a improvised weapon, the next she went flying out the open window after a well placed smack from the snake-youma's flailing body. A perfect smack, she was perfectly off-balanced and turned at just the angle then: POP goes the Zodiac!

And the scary thing was moreso that she didn't even break anything as she sailed over the trashed room, and through the open window. She smartly lost the IV drip-pole, but that was probably a good thing. Cancer had fallen off stages, dropped out of trees and tripped over props in her life; but she had never been tossed out a window like a ball. Luckily there wasn't a big fall to the ground. Not so luckily, there was a tree to break her flight.

Rainbow Senshi

PostPosted: Fri Mar 19, 2010 11:08 pm

At least the Senshi of Rainbows had dodged back and used her attack at a distance. It didn't do much good. Instead of getting .5 seconds to react, she got 1.5 seconds to react. In that short amount of time, she managed to note the body hadn't just fallen limp to the ground.

Mental note: snake youma died like snakes.

Sailor Iris got lucky. She got hit square in the gut and was thrown into a wall. Fortunately, there were no spikes protruding from the wall, and no furniture near that part of the wall for her to knock over. It definitely knocked the wind out of her lungs and sent a big blunt shock down her spine, but otherwise, it seemed that Iris was now out of the line of danger.

However, it didn't seem to be the case for the ballerina-looking girl. She didn't get a wall to catch her fall. She went through a window. An open window, fortunately, but also not so fortunately. Open window meant no glass, but it also meant an easy gateway to FALLING.

"...god damn it... ya stupid thing... die already..." the blonde senshi grunted out as she began to look around for senshi number 3.

Ji-Yeon certainly had a newfound respect for Abeline. The girl had bravely taken the attack for Ellie, and followed it up with a stab in the gut. Bravo, bravo. Though she really shouldn't have been talking, considering how useless she was. Ji-Yeon's jaw dropped at the sheer power of the Iris Rainbow Slicer, the snake-youma simply deteriorated at the spot, without a trace. What happened after it's obnoxiously boisterous death, was Iris being flinged towards a wall, and Abeline, out the window!

Well, there certainly was no better time to make use of her powers. Of course, she wouldn't jump out the window, but Ji-Yeon did make haste down the stairs to see what poor fate the blue-haired comrade had met. Thank God, one of the branches of the tree had clasped onto the transparent fabric of Abeline's fuku. "Y-you okay?" the female meekly inquired. Hurriedly reaching for the branch, she removed the cloth from the twig, laying Cancer on the grass. The hits from the snake-youma and the impact from the fall, albeit the damaged had been reduced by the snagging, it had taken a toll on Abeline's body. She still had to heal Iris, but with all her might, Ji-Yeon shouted, "Magical Mender!" Like the first time she had used her powers, a pink-red transparent bubble formed around the body of Abeline, as scratches and wounds healed before her eyes. Thank goodness.

She blinked over at him, expression a mix of surprise and sorrow. She hadn't meant for it to hurt, she was mostly teasing. Wasn't she? A frown crossed her features, tugging her lips into a pout as she watched him a moment. "Sorry... I didn't mean to."

And then, before she could really say any more about what to do about the monster - and those in there bravely (or stupidly) fighting the creature, it seemed that noises from Azzo's room had vanished. A look of curiosity replaced the frown and she quickly moved for the door to try and peek in.

Yes she was aware that the senshi could have died and the monster was laying in wait for them to peek in. Yes she was aware that any number of horrible things could go wrong just by peeking in on what should be a battlefield. Yes it was a risk she was willing to take. Thankfully there was a small window in the door that allowed her to peek in. Was the coast actually clear? For all involved, she certainly hoped so.

Azzo looked at her, and blinked, "There isn't a use in pouting over it." He paused, "For all we know it might be true." He sighed a melancholy look crossed his face.

When the sounds disappeared he sort of perked up. Looking around the corner and started to move over towards the door before pausing and holding Mel back. One of the senshi was running out of the door and outside?

He lofted a brow. Pausing to stop Mel from looking in before he did. He looked around the corner, was that tail still trashing around. The mess in the room looked absolutely lovely. He pulled his head back, "Don't think I'm trying to tell you what to do, but I don't think you want to look in there."

Cancer groaned, Nothing was broken, but she had bumps and bruises all over, and hitting the tree had definitely winded her.

"*$%# snakey weirdo." She muttered as Sirona rescued her from the evil clutches of the tree.

Her eyes widened in surprise though as her cuts and bruises were healed by the other senshi and she ran a hand down her back, managing a small smile. "Thank you."

Weird power, but still, Cancer wasn't one to comment, she protected people, taking the brunt of an attack herself, or trapping enemies in a bubble. Healing was pretty useful. The Zodiac glanced up at the window she'd flown out of. Wow, it hadn't hurt as much as she'd thought it was.

Standing, Cancer woobbled a bit. Her left slipper had come untied. She didn't know her fuku could be damaged. opefully it would repair before she next wore it.
