Sayuri turned to look towards the decorations once more.
"I have a young maiko, Ao-sagi-chan, who wanted to learn more about the entertainment you do here. I believe she has answered one of the ads your inn placed looking for maids. I do hope she isn't a bother to you, but I also hope that she is able to view the life of the male geisha entertainer, as well as their interaction with female geisha and patron. I know that your inn will be a very useful tool for her and I hope that you will show her the ways of becoming a great geisha through your actions," Sayuri said with confidence.

(( so when should i start, and if i play Gu Zheng, Its probably best if i had a flute in the backround [mabye you could do that] and i can sing alone if you want, OR you could sing too. you are a male geisha arent you?))

Hitori smiled softly at her words. "I'm sure things will be just fine. One tends to worry when placed in new surroundings. A fish in a new pond must wonder if the others will welcome it or chase it out."
"The snow makes for a beautiful covering, but the cherry blossoms will certianly be a welcome sight. Though, if it stays this warm we will have to change our kimono early this year." He sipped his tea and smiled. She was certianly lovely, one to rival his own mother in her younger days, though she was never a geisha.
He listened quietly to her proposal, sipping his tea quietly, and hoping the other took no offense at the slight bit of his wrist and arm peeking through the opening of his sleeve as he held the cup aloft. He made a mental note to find a way to hold onto his sleeve around the others in the future.
"This girl, Ao-sagi-chan, under who is she currently studdying under? I may have to speak with her big sister if she is to work here. Her classes can't be missed, and if she is to be working here she will have to forego the engagments she currently has for those here. I'm not sure I could teach her much, but if negotiations go well she is welcome to join us here in the inn." ((Hallowed, what is your current roll in the forum? To the other's working as maids, you can start posting around doing little things like cleaning and what not.))

Shagatsu walked in the inn and said hello to hitori. He walked over to where he would preform and began to clean. He had to do his part in helping out too..

Shagatsu finished dusting and went around the back of the inn looking for a piece of wood. He found a small one and brought it to the front of the inn.
"mabye i can bring in some customers with this" He said. he propped the wood up with a stone. the piece of wood wasll tall but slender. He took a piece of cloth out of his robe and blindfolded himself. taking a deep breath he flicked both of his wrists. all of a sudden, knives appeared. then again, appearing in the wood. the knives seemed to grow out of the wood in a line. the line was almost perfectly up the center. after the last knife, he stood there for a few seconds. the wood split in two up the line of knives. Shagatsu took off the blindfold and prepared to do it again.

Sayuri smiled a bit.
"Ao-sagi-chan is my imouto-chan," Sayuri replied. "I'd be glad to help out in any way possible. I would never allow her to miss classes, but I think the basics should be learned first. Any engagements made would be done so only if she has spare time. Aftera ll, we want to make sure that she has her basic skills learned before she goes into many parties. So, you see, this is the perfect arrangement for her."

Shagatsu finished cleaning and picked up his GuZheng. He tuned his strings quickly and began to practice a small song he tought himself.

Shagatsu played a long and complex arpeggio. Then he did it faster. and faster until you couldnt see his fingers. and then the notes he were played sonded like one note. one note that went up and then down again in one fluid motion.

Shagatsu stoped playing and rested his fingers for a moment. He then picked up his Gu Zheng and began to play a cheerful song.
