360! heart
My boyfriend and I bought one together. I love it. We've had it for about 7 months now and it still runs fine. There's a thing called the InterCooler you can buy that really helps.
Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion FTW!

I am highly opinionated when it comes to game systems. For 400 bucks, beign the middle-priced system on the market, the Xbox 360 is WELL worth it. Microsoft has worked their asses off so far to make this thing great. On Xbox Live you can download Gamerpictures, Themes(backgrounds), Music Videos, T.V. Shows (yes, all of the episodes), Movies, Game Demos, Arcade Games and much more. Not to mention they have cool features with the mics and cameras while playing online, which brings the gaming experience to the next level. Its game titles are DRASTICALLY improving from the Original Xbox's (Halo 3, Gears of War, Timeshifters, Lost Planet, Oblivion, Mass Effect, Fable 2, and Bioshock to name a few)
But the PS3 is nowhere worth it's price. Although it has a bit more firepower and capabilities as the 360, it hasnt lived up to it's full potential...hell it is not even close. The 360 still outruns it in power. And the PS3 is going down the drain horribly. A lot of game titles that were originally meant only for Play Station at one point are now also on the 360. For example: Assassins Creed, A New katamari Damaci game, and Even Final Fantasy 12!
The Wii is a whole other story and can't really be compared to the 360 or PS3 because it is so different, but if you are looking for something quite cheap and fun for the whole family...It's the right way to go.
But all in all the 360 is great. The newer versions have no more overheating trouble like they had when they were first released, and even if they do, they have cheap a device that keeps it cool. And their quality is decent. The people who run Xbox Live also have their crap together very well. There was once a virus over Xbox Live which they fixed instantly and there are now no more problems with viruses and probably never will be. They also have some GREAT titles in the future. So get the 360, it is well worth it. I can never go anywhere without mine. xp
[Note: if anyone does decide to buy the 360 and they get ti at a gamestore with a good return policy like EB or Gamestop, the 40$ warranty is a must. You never know when you may bump your xbox and the disk will get out of control and scratch the eye, or a fan breaks, or you drop ti and a part comes lose. I bought mine at EB and my first Box had its eyes scratched to the pont where it couldnt read discs, so I brought it in to EB and they pulled a brand new one from it's box and swapped it for mine. I even got to keep my old HD and Wires too. It only took a few minutes and I was happy.]
