Sand Village|Chuunin|Taijutsu Class|Genjuu Kinzoku BloodlineTheme Song: If Today Was Your Last Day Deil stopped as a form suddenly appeared ahead of him, and he was caught off-guard due to his single-minded approach at handling his fatigue. Her posture caused him to stop, and breathe deeply through his nose to constantly try to recoup his body. Even though he had been replacing the water of his body, he could feel the salt clinging to his skin and clogging his pores one by one. I really should have waited to do that another day, but you never know when she may need it.
He sat down in the sand at her beckon, and sighed his expression of joy at the sudden cool relief caused by the ice dome. He turned to Misuki and gratefully accepted the pellet and the water. "Thank you, Misuki." He crushed the pill down into powder with his teeth and powerful jaws, and used the water to help choke the bitter pill down. While it wasn't pleasant to taste, it did wonders by helping recoup his stamina.
"So, Hokage-sama, what is our first objective once we get settled in the village?" he asked, and stretched to keep his muscles from cramping from the heat exposure, fatigue, and imbalance of electrolytes.

 Kage Konoha | Hyouton | Sannin (Temporary Kage) "A census." the words came surprisingly calmly from someone, who up to this point had really only revealed her upbeat side. Something was bothering her before Deil spoke, and she had been rather entrenched in thought prior to his question... "I don't even know who all the active ninja are anymore. the files are out of date, areas of the library are missing. the akatsuki destruction went further then you think and the constantly flowing stream of Kages have left very little cohesiveness to any type of record keeping."
Kage was almost ashamed of what had become of her village, but if she could stop it's disintegration, she would work hard to stabilize it. "Once we have an updated list of active Leaf-nin, we can begin to move from there... but we need to bolster or defenses and created protection contingencies as a priority. I'll be counting on all of you responding quickly and carrying out missions efficiently... and Misuki, I'll be depending on you to learn a few specialized jutsu... as a medical ninja, you're the only one i know of who would be up to the task. You'll all be working as a team though, and you won't be given students right away... not until the major tasks are complete."
 "I'm here when I need to be."

ROOT [Leaf Recovery Effort]Theme Song: If Today Was Your Last Day Deil listened to the frank explanation of the degraded state of the village, and decided to give his two-cents. "Well, I know that my best uses will be for Reconstruction, courier, and rounding up of hostile ninja within the village. Just let me know what you need done, and we will do it." He wiped the cold and useless sweat off his brow since it would not evaporate now, and gestured at Misuki and Hikaru. "I am sure they feel the same. But I do have a request. I would appreciate it if at some time you allow me access to a private place to train the final stages of the 8 gates style. An ice structure in the forest would do well, or a solid building, but I need someplace that won't matter when it gets damaged. Also, I will require the presence of Misuki there. It will only take a few hours, and I may get in a stage another style while I am at it. It all depends on what fits into your time-line." He finished his request, and knew that receiving such time would be highly unlikely until the beginning stages of reconstruction are complete.

 Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | ChuuninAs Misuki ate away at her dry biscuit, she listened attentively to the conversation going on between Deil and Kage. 'A census huh? So things are really that bad over there in Konoha...I wonder how long it'll take before we can get the village to thrive again?' Hearing Kage speak directly to her, Misuki stopped eating and turned to face Kage, "Hai, Kage-sama, I do my best to master those specialized jutsus as soon as possible. I'll make sure that your trust in me is not wasted, I won't let you down."
As Deil discuss his ideas and request for the village, she got worried again when she heard him mention about training inthe 8 gates styles again...'I'm really worried about him training in that taijutsu style, there's so much at risk...' Turning to face Kage, Misuki waited to hear their leader's response.

Kage Konoha | Hyouton | Sannin (Temporary Kage) After another 20 minutes or so of rest, Kage looked around and it seemed like everyone had already finished eating and were not simply lounging around and enjoying the coolness of the ice. Eager to get home however, Kage got up from her spot as she gathered up the water bottles, holding them up to the ice structure one at a time as she placed her hand to the surface, melting the ice into fresh, clean drinking water, filling each container before finally being ready to leave. "Alright everyone, break time's over... let's get going."
With a few quick hand seals, the dome of ice around them shattered into thousands of tiny ice particles which rained down on the group in one last refreshing spray of ice and mist on their skin before they were exposed once more to the heat of the desert. "Let's go." Kage stated quickly as she immediately ran off through the sands, Hikaru quick to follow as he had stood up and was ready to leave once she had. He had enjoyed the brief downtime and spent much of his rest poking at the walls of the ice dome, amazed at the structure and with how easily the Kage had made it from nothing in a harsh and water-barren environment like the desert.
Continuing to lead the pack, Kage planned their route silently in her head as she quickened her pace, hoping the others could keep up so they could get back soon."Just a few more hours to the borderlands and we'll be in Konoha by tomorrow."

He then strode after the Hokage, eager to get this leg of the journey over with. He was able to keep up with the Hokage now that the pellet was taking effect. He glanced back at Misuki and gave her a smile of appreciation before turning back to focus on the road before them. [exit to borderlands] {Thank you, Lilly! smile }

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | ChuuninFinished with her light snack, Misuki spent the rest of the time relaxing and stretching out her tired muscles. From time to time she would worriedly glance at Hikaru wondering if her student was alright seeing how he hasn't spoken a word since they left. 'I hope everything isn't too much for him to handle, afterall, he was suddenly just sent to Suna and now he's placed on an important mission to leaf. Hope he's handling everything well.'
Hearing Kage say that the break's over, Misuki quickly got up and placed everything back into her travel pack before shouldering it. Misuki stared in wonder as the dome of ice shattered into many ice particales that rained down on them. 'Amazing...makes me kinda wish I had this kind of ability. It's so useful and neat.' Misuki was pulled out of her thoughts with the sound of footsteps running across the sand and was quick to follow the group not wanting to be fall behind. As they ran, Misuki noticed that Kage had picked up her speed, most likely in an attempt to have them reach a certain destination before nightfall. 'If I recall correctly, the borderlands should be our next pinpoint location. Guess that's why we're speeding up, the borderlands are still a good few hours away from here.'
