This is kind of random, but you can see Kaoru's and Die's (as well as Mana's, Kozi's, Sugizo's, and other jrocker's) guitars at this site: http://www.espguitars.co.jp/artist/2004/index.html(I'm sure everyone knew that already but..) They have the prices listed there... The Ganesa and DDT are around 5000 gonk eek heart The others are around 1000. And the minis are like 400-500. I want to buy one. gonk

Ahh...what I'd do with $5000. Must save up for a Ganesa! *adds to life goals list* Kaoru's guitar is so spiffy, the first time I saw it was just - woah.
About 2 months ago my computer crashed and I lot all my Dir en grey pictures! So I've been rebuilding my collection 3nodding Does anyone have the links for those shirtless pictures?

Look closely, he's quite muscular! eek Plus, he's very into "health", I doubt he'd allow himself to be at an unhealthy weight. Kaoru is absolutely my favorite memeber ... right after Shinya whee I really don't remember how Kaoru got to be my favorite (well, technically he is sharing that spot, but still) ... it just kinda happened. I think it started with the absolutely GIANT hat he wears in the Akuro no Oka PV - any man who can wear a thing like that and look stunning gets my vote. Then it just became a question of his hats in general, all of which I want to own.
Then there was his Embryo PV Ganesa. Pardon me while I go drool about it. ::runs off:: ... ::comes back:: I do adore that lovely, wonderful, beautiful guitar. It's so chilling and gorgeous ... and oh, the sounds he makes with it in that song ... I need to go drool again ::runs off::
Seriously, though, the man is like hide's disciple. hide is the guitar god, and Kaoru is right under him, nearly tied with him by now. One of the most awesome things about Dir en grey is how I've always been able to pick out each member's line through a song, but only if I concentrait on doing so. The lines meld together so beautifully that I don't want to most of the time, but if I want to hear who plays what, I can always tell Kaoru from Die just by how they play. It's something I can't do with any other band.

I must agree...they are one of the few bands - well the only band - I can distinguish like that as well.
I did a 5 page essay on Kaoru and why he's my idol for my english class last year and because I could put my emotion in it it was awesome. (I even had a section dedicated to his hair...in colors whee )It was only supposed to be 5 paragraphs and for the length now that I look back on it it could've been better, but I found that I had a lack of words for how to describe him. It would've taken me more than the day we had to write it to convey all my feelings about the topic.
But yes, his hats are rockin'
Especially the giant Akuro no Oka sombrero-type one heart
