The young Raven walked into the Christmas party uninvited, but, it was Christmas. Who would care? At any rate, Meluk was a hot-headed weak bount that gets into a lot of trouble so people shouldn't be able to recognize him. After the coma he went into, he felt weak, and he could barely stand up. Meluk didn't care, because it was Christmas.
As he scanned the area ahead of him, he noticed his Master Ky. Do to his nature, he would go up to him, and say something stupid, but, it looked like Ky was having fun. Why bother him? Meluk quietly walked to the back of the buzzing room.
"Xeion never fails at giving a great party," Meluk said, "This is the first time I actually seen Ky this happy, and joyful. Christmas can work a number on a man,"
Meluk walked over to drinks, and picked one at random. It was hot chocolate, Nirro's favorite drink. He could remember all the great times he had with them. Meluk had wondered what had happened to them. Even though Christmas can work a number or two, a coma can do a lot to a man as well.
Unfortunate, Meluk didn't bring a present. It was easy to see that he didn't have any money; instead he lived off of Ky's wealth, money, and power. Even though, Christmas is about spending time with the family, people would still prefer the presents. Meluk sat down on the floor, and began to play with his thumbs like a child.

(Totally ^^ Christmas is one of my favorite times of year! And I generally hate being nasty to people XD)
"The sarcasm is not appreciated, litte Prince," Jes responded dryly. All the same, she took his arm, acting very much the spoiled debutante. She hardly deigned the other guests with more than a look, though one-- some hyperactive child-- had barged towards them, rambling about Ky's rather unique hat. She resisted the urge to put her stilettoed heel in his upturned face. Somehow that didn't seem very diplomatic. While allowing this party to degenerate into a brawl would have been amusing, it wasn't really in her best interests. It was better to allow the shinigami to draw their own conclusions as to the power of the arrancar and Jes herself. She had yet to prove herself against a captain, but she needn't reveal her power just yet. Tonight, she could condescend to be cordial. Barely.
"I'm sure you fancy yourself quite the businessman," She smirked as Ky waxed lyrically about her appearance. Of course she'd dressed this way to cut a striking figure. She represented Las Noches, so she might as well do it with some flair. Idly, she reached up to touch the blood-red pendant at her throat-- it had been a gift from Ky himself, crafted of his own blood.
She could feel the eyes of several party goers on them, not to mention flairs of apprehension. She and Ky weren't exactly welcome, but there was nothing that could be done to stop them from attending. Moreover, this was a mildly political maneuver. Let the shinigami wonder what the arrancar and bounts were cooking up together. Let them squirm.
"But you'll not have me tonight," She continued, looking back up at him with dark amusement. It seemed she was allowing more emotion to slip through than usual tonight. She blamed the distraction of good cheer. "Points for effort, though,"

((I wonder if there's any chance for Jes in real life to influence the Jes in-RP?))
"Aww, and I thought I could already drag you willingly into bed with me," Ky snickered, gently shifting from a stationary position into a slow stride while taking into consideration Jes and how she felt. Ky was careful not to do anything to aggravate Jes in any manner as he led her into the building, past the noisy people, past the booming sounds from the stereo system, past the annoying lights that shone above, towards a secluded place on the northern part of the warehouse where a relatively unpopulated bar, compared to the others, since the place was far from the heart of the party, was located.
Ky made sure to act like a proper escort and offered Jes a seat first before he himself sat on the bar chair beside Jes then called a bartender to give them some drinks of Ky's choice.
"Two Bloody Mary drinks, please. Go easy on the rocks."
Assuming Jes had no knowledge of the usual drinks during social gatherings, since Jes obviously didn't give off the image of a "socialite", Ky took the initiative to order for her as well so that she wouldn't make herself look like a fool for not knowing her drinks, especially in the presence of a crowd where the majority were shinigami. That would cause unintended results, one of which was Jes reputation would degenerate and the "feared" leader of Las Noches wouldn't be as feared any more since they could make a running joke of Jes and her lack of knowledge of drinks.
This was the underlying reason Ky had for ordering for her, seeing that possibility way before it would ever happen. It would be fine if he would make a mistake in his logical assumption though and Jes would suddenly present herself as very knowledgeable of drinks and hate him for making her, privately, look like a fool. To him, that would be an acceptable consequence since, as was his motto, prevention was always much better than cure. Besides, Ky was already used to being hated. If he would be hated just because he was safeguarding Jes' reputation by Jes herself, then so be it.

"Oh, this is kind of funny. A lot of bigshots in one place." Jan stepped through the crowd that the leader of the Bount and the unknown Arrancar had been through. Not bothering to follow them all the way to the secluded part of the warehouse, he simply turned and watched the crowd. He had been away from Karakura, and business in general, for a long time, and the heavy concentration of spiritual energy on his turf naturally prompted an investigation upon his return.
((I do love talking about the finer points of RP~ RL and RP Jan are fairly similar in personality nowadays. Our most-used expression is the same too. :< ))

The young Raven was growing very annoyed, and tired. Meluk wished that someone would say something to him or even fight him. He gazed at Ky, and Jes; for a second it looked like Ky was trying to keep her sheets.
As he did that, he noticed a spiritual pressure that he had not felt before. He also noticed a young man approaching Ky, and Jes. Meluk not knowing who it was, he slowly approached the crowd.
"Hey Ky, long time no see? I see you've been... busy," Meluk snickered in playful tone of voice.
Meluk didn't know a thing what was happening. One second, the Las Noches was the enemy, and now Ky is trying to have a relationship the leader. What was happening? Meluk slowly leaned over to Ky, and blocked the right side of mouth with hand.
"One second we we're enemies with them, and now you’re trying to have a relationship with Jes? I've been loyal to you since we've met, and I want something in return. When we get back to the base, we need talk," Meluk whispered to Ky in puzzle tone of voice, “And to make sure we do I'm going to follow you every step except for your bed, and shower. That would be awkward,"
Meluk looked at the young man in front of him. He gave him a frustrated look, and leaned off of Ky. the young Raven turned his attention to Jes.
"Hello Jes. How is the killing going?" Meluk said in playful tone of voice.
((I never should have written this, but oh-well. I'm bored.))
