506  KATO MEISHI Change is the constant,
the signal for rebirth,
the egg of the phoenix,
Angels are bright still ,
though the.BRIGHTEST fell. Kato walked into his quarters and gently closed the door with a soft clack. He took out Kanpata from his sheath and rested the bare metal on his palm and marveled on the reflected moonlight created by a simple ray of particles in an aligned fashion. "You're such a beautiful sword, Kanpata. Light is what I strive for, it's what I live for...and you display it perfectly. What makes me different from anyone else, Kanpata? Why me?" After a few moments of silence, Kato sighed. "I guess you don't want to tell me...or maybe I have to find out on my own. I don't know. All I know is that getting stronger isn't the goal." He paused for a moment, almost surprised that those words were coming out of his mouth. "All this time...I've been obsessed with the light so I can get stronger. All this time it's been about me, me, me! I get it now! Light doesn't confine itself to one person or place...it asks for nothing yet gives all, and by doing that, illuminates the lives of all those around it..." All of a sudden, Kato's cross started to glow from under his Shihakusho. The room slowly began to fill with a soft glow. Kato took the cross in his hand and it glowed even brighter, it's brilliance increasing the closer the cross got to Kanpata. Understanding this, Kato placed the cross perpendicular to the sheath, which at this point caused the entire room to glow so brightly that Kato raised his arms to protect himself. When the light subsided, his quarters no longer existed. It was a city; the night sky did well reflecting the rays of street lights onto the slick pavement below. Kato wandered around aimlessly, until he stumbled upon a broken mirror on the floor. Kneeling down, he put every piece of the mirror back together as best he could on the ground. What reflected back at him was the image of an angel, majestic alone; wings and all. He blinked, and the image disappeared as fast it had appeared. "What....is this..where am I?" Kato dragged a hand through the misty sky and watched as his hand didn't register the droplets at all. "Am I even here? If I didn't know better, this is back in the Human Wo--" Kato staggered back a few steps. This particular place, this time, seemed much too familiar to him. This couldn't be...no way...he wouldn't...Kato's mind struggled with the paradox unsuccessfully.
A voice whispered from above, "If you want the light, prove it. This is the day you died."

Meanwhile, Kato's body was undergoing some interesting changes. Wings had begun to sprout from his back, and his hair began to lengthen and change colour. Strangely, chains began to form around Kato. These chains were spiked, and as they wrapped around him they began to draw blood. If Kato did not wake up soon, or if someone did not find him, he would never wake up from this dream-- or this nightmare.

Ronin Kurai - 7th Division Lieutenant
Ronin knocked upon his captain door and began but there was no answer only a strange glow coming from under the door. Ronin knocked once more a bit louder, but no answer and it was strange and eerie feeling began to settle in Ronin's mind as he began to think about what happened last time to his captain. "Captain Kato, I'm coming in!" he shouted as he opened the door swiftly and saw his captain in state of change like before, but different and it seemed to be more threatening to Kato's life than his own. Kato had wings growing form his back, longer hair, and chains that where cutting him and stabbing into him.
"Captain !?!" was the only word he was able to get out as this state made Ronin drop his drawn blade and rush at his captain grabbing at the chains binding Kato and yelling. "Captain, wake up! You can't fall asleep like this! There is something wrong!" he shouted to his captain as he was trying to pull the chains off but only began get cut and stabbed as he was trying to pull the chains away from his captain. "Captain Kato, you have to come back, I can't lose you a second time!!!" he said as he started to cry. He was still trying to get at captain Kato but he chains continued to come cutting his hands, arms, face and torso as he was trying to get them off of him and wake him up.

Elisia had been wandering around aimlessly for quite some time now and she had not known exactly what to do. Wrapped up in her thoughts, she found herself in a place that she felt was vaguely familiar yet did not recognize. The Shinigami around were looking at her weirdly, due to the fact that her powers had firstly altered her eye colour and she had dyed her hair. Alright, maybe it was weird changing from purple to white hair, but it was not that bad a change, was it? However, she still couldn’t get used to all the stares she was getting. Hurrying along on her way, she stopped outside a door which was very familiar to her. Where had she seen it before? It took her a while to deliberate on that question, but eventually, she managed to come to one simply conclusion. Oh, yeah. How could she have forgotten something like that? This was the door to Kato’s quarters, so it was safe to assume the fact that she was actually inside the 7th Squad areas. Opening the door, she crept in quietly, wondering whether he was around. “Kato?” she quietly called out, her voice barely reaching above normal levels. Slightly confused and wondering whether he was even at home, she crossed the area, only to come to a sudden halt. She could see Kato’s Lieutenant there, shaking a body.
Leaning down to examine the body, she noticed the fact that his face was of someone that she knew well and in her shock, she breathed his name, “Kato…” What was going on here? She was utterly confused as to exactly what was happening, but as she noticed the fact that there was blood, she started to panic before assuming a calm composure. This was not good at all. Using her hands, she helped Ronin, ripping at the chains to drag them away from Kato, as they seemed to be the objects that were causing him harm. She still couldn’t believe his eyes, as his hair was completely different and he…had wings. Recalling the story containing an angel that Kato had told her a whole ago, she drew her zanpakuto, slicing through the chains. There was blood on her hands – her own blood from when she had touched the chains and it had cut her, and that of Kato’s, when the chains had drawn his blood. There was some instinct in her that was telling her to wake Kato up before attempting to heal or anything like that and she followed it, overriding her own thoughts. Shaking Kato, she desperately hoped that he would wake up sometime soon. “Kato, Kato! Wake up! You can’t just lie there…it’s time for you to come back to the real world…quickly…” she literally screamed his name in fear, her anxieties culminating as she looked at his face. Looking at Ronin and his bloodied hands, she stopped her efforts for a bit, looking in her pouch for some bandages, which she then used to wrap up his hands. She attempted to reassure him, “Don’t worry, your Captain will be fine…he’ll wake up…he will…he has too…” ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

544 KATO MEISHI Change is the constant,

though the.BRIGHTEST fell. The chains that were cut off Kato simply reformed and choked him even tighter. At this point, Kato's extremities were beginning to turn blue. Suddenly, a dark Reiatsu began to culminate in the form of a panther, with large protruding teeth behind the two. "Leave him alone," the panther growled. "His body and his spirit are MINE!" The panther jumped at Elisia, mouth open wide, aiming to sink its teeth into her shoulder.

Kato gasped as the truth struck him. This is the same city, the same neighbourhood... he thought. The sun was just beginning to grace the horizon, and the fog was being carried away by a gentle wind. Kato looked into a store window and looked at the time: 3:21 AM. Answering the question Kato had not yet asked, the voice replied, "You will die exactly 21 minutes and 47 seconds from the moment I finish this sentence." Kato whirled around. "Who are you! What do you want from me!" He fell to his knees, arms hanging limp at his side. "I'm only one person...what did I do to deserve this!" He clutched his head and violently shook his head as voices permeated his innermost core. He stopped shaking his head suddenly and began to pay attention, realizing it was Ronin. It was too jumbled to make any sense to him. He heard another voice: Elisia's. "What....are you trying to tell me! What do I do?" He screamed; a primal roar that would be heard for miles, that is, if anyone even noticed he existed. He bent over on all fours as he gazed into a puddle. In it, he saw a child playing with his mother, a man carrying a baby out of a burning building, a mother gazing into the eyes of her own mom as she passed into the next. Kato turned away and looked at the street beside him. It was so dark, society had lost its flame. In this society, good news was rare, bad news was the constant, and people had become wary of others, far from the trust in each other that use to exist. Kato recalled what the voice had told him, "If you want the light....prove it."
"You...want me...to be the light to this city?" Kato looked to the sky, dismayed. "How the hell can I do that....in less than 20 minutes?" The voice replied, "No. Just one person." Kato looked around. Who? They can't even see me, he thought to himself. As he looked around, a familiar song caught his eye. It sang:
A father to the fatherless
A healer of the brokenness you make
Beauty from the ashes
A helper to the helpless
A fighter for the hopeless you Love
Those who are alone
Those who are alone...
He smiled for a moment. That was a song my mother used to sing to me, he recalled. At that moment, something clicked. "That's it...it's her. I have to bring the light to her." With this new knowledge, he took off running in the direction of her house. He noticed that this place was slowly becoming more tangible to him. He began to feel the water under his feet as he ran. Hmm, he thought.
"You have 12 minutes," the voice stated. Kato ran even faster.
[I think I should mention that time in his world and in the SS don't necessarily have to correlate.]

☇【ｓｑｕａｄxｆｏｕｒxＣＡＰＴＡＩＮ】 Elisia started slightly as the chains reformed. Crap. This wasn’t good. They needed to somehow basically get rid of the entire chains, not just cut them apart. Thinking hard of a solution, she decided that her Shikai wouldn’t be enough for this, since the chains were most likely fire-resistant. She needed to do something and do it quickly – Kato was starting to turn blue, a sign that he was running out of oxygen. Damn. How come things like this had to happen for people to become stronger? Her head snapped up suddenly as the dark Reiatsu began to form. To her surprise, it had become a panther – most likely a form of Kato’s powers. As it jumped at her, Elisia did not flinch and only her arm moved, to lightly push Ronin to the side, out of harm’s way and make sure that he was alright. Despite what others might think, she could take this and she knew that Kato would have wanted his Lieutenant to be kept safe and sound. As the panther managed to sink its teeth into her shoulder, her face remained calm and impassive, any trace of happiness and cheerfulness erased from her expression. There was a lot of pain, but she merely said nothing. She allowed it a brief second, before she used all the strength in her legs to kick it aside. As she stood up, facing it, she said in the coldest and harshest voice she could muster, “As the saying goes, don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched. No matter what, I won’t allow something like that to happen.”
Looking at Kato, she made a quick decision before whispering under her breath, “Rukki Huang,” as she carefully kept her Reiatsu under control. Her zanpakuto transformed into two fans, which she discarded for the meantime. Closing her eyes, she directed her blood, or namely, the healing solution in the blood, towards the injury, sighing with relief as the wound closed and healed. It took her a brief second to gain her concentration again, but then she generated an acid on the skin of her left hand, with a pH level of close to 0.5 which was extremely corrosive. Placing that hand on the chains, she directed the acid to eat away at the chains, although attempting to not get any on Kato himself. She smiled reassuringly at Ronin, warning him, “I wouldn’t advise you to touch the chains at the moment, until the acid finishes working and dissolves the chains entirely.” ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

Ronin Kurai - 7th Division Lieutenant
Ronin backed up as the Squad Four Captain was doing assisting in order to help Kato. he than backed up as instructed and you could tell he had been cut and stabbed by the spiked chains that are around Kato in and some places deep. Blood tickled down the right side of Ronin's face as he looked as the Acide began to eat away at the chains. "If only I where stronger..." he said to himself as he waited to see if the acid would have any affect upon the chains that had formed around his captain.
Than a feeling started to settle in to Ronin as he watched and couldn't take it anymore. "Riyu-Taicho is there a way to draw him out from within..?" he asked rather serious as blood still ticked from the cuts and stabs on his arms, body, and some cuts on his face. "If there is please tell me I want to bring Captain Kato back, it is my job as a Lieutenant to protect my captain, even if that means doing something of what I'm asking..." he said looking at her he wanted to know and if so he wanted to try it. He is tired of standing on the side lines doing nothing while others fight of while others helped him. "I don't want to be a burden, but a help." he said with a confident voice as he was willing to do anything to help his captain.

☇【ｓｑｕａｄxｆｏｕｒxＣＡＰＴＡＩＮ】 Elisia looked up at Ronin as he spoke. She looked a little tired and weary, not from fatigue but from worry and anxiety. The acid had hopefully started to dissolve the chains by now and she had generated more than necessary. Since it was already on a set path, she could divert her attention away from it and concentrate on other important matters. Blinking slightly at Ronin, she noticed something that she had not seen before – the cuts and stabs on his entire body, most likely from the chains. How could she have done something like that and neglected his wounds? Rummaging in her pouch, she looked for a small dagger that she always carried. She located it and pulling it out, she made a swift cut in her arm, to allow the blood to come out. “We’d better take care of you first before we take care of your Captain.” she said quietly. Working quickly, she gathered some of her blood, and thus the healing solution in her blood, in some damp tissues before dabbing at Ronin’s wounds. Soon enough, the healing medicine in her blood would start to heal the cuts and stabs in his body, leaving no trace of a wound except for, of course, the blood that was trickling from his cuts. Healing her own cut that she had made, she used Chiyudō #63: Zōketsu to inject some blood into Ronin, to make up for any blood loss. She stopped, finally satisfied with her handiwork. “Anyway, I don’t think we can do anything for your Captain at the moment. All we can do is hope and pray that he’ll be alright – I think his zanpakuto spirit took hold of him or something like that, especially with his new appearance.” ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

689 KATO MEISHI Change is the constant,

Angels are bright still ,
though the.BRIGHTEST fell. The panther hit the wall hard and landed on all fours, rolling its shoulders. It didn't seem to be overly affected by her attack or her words. "Silly girl....Kato didn't tell you about me? His second, and might I add.....more powerful, Zanpakuto? You might notice that your zanpakuto isn't talking to anymore....heh." He gestured at the now bare zanpakuto a little ways back from Elisia. "Don't bother trying to use it, it will remain like that for a while." The panther looked back at the chains and then at Kato and bared its fangs again. "....You....dare to interfere...." The panther increased in size as the chains dissolved off of Kato. These chains simply reformed as dark Reiatsu, which the panther then absorbed, now twice the size of Elisia.
"Now die!" The panther jumped at her neck this time, aiming to knock her down with a swipe of his talons and finish her with a bite to the neck.

Kato turned the corner and started scanning the house numbers. 101,103,.....109! That's it! He could see a figure with short, cropped, auburn hair entering the door. Instantly, memories flooded into his mind, but not enough to cause him to stop. He had a mission to complete. As he ran down the street, eyes locked at his mother, he failed to hear the countdown stated by the voice above. "Ten, nine, eight, seven......two..." The world as Kato knew instantly became tangible. People noticed him running down the street, and his mother turned around, not yet knowing who it was. What Kato didn't notice was the car speeding down from his blind-spot, going the opposite direction. It was a head on collision that sent Kato flying backwards, much to the dismay of the onlookers, who began to scream and rush to his side, asking him if he needed help, calling an ambulance, and whatnot. Although Kato could only see one person; the one who bustled through the crowd, screaming, "I'm a doctor! Move awa--" Her voice stopped in her throat as she realized who the victim was. She picked his head up and held it to her chest as the tears rolled down her face and Kato's blood drenched her white lab jacket. "My baby....my baby!" Not much more was understood except when she screamed, "Leave me alone! Go! Just let me be with him....one more time....like we used to be..." Kato's eyes glazed over as the rested on her name tag. "Rianne Tara Meishi..." he thought. "What a beautiful name...." It began to rain again, the first droplets gracing the sidewalk quickly became a deluge, though it affected neither Kato nor Rianne. "Mom," he sputtered, blood already beginning to pool in his mouth. "I've....been a terrible person and a horrible son. You never realize what you leave until you've left it behind, and I don't want to leave you anymore....but I think it's too late for regrets, now..." He entered a coughing fit as Rianne cradled him tighter, saying "No, baby, don't talk like that, I'll fix you up, I'm a doctor, a really good one..." Kato shook his head. "You don't understand, and I hope you will...but this was meant to be." With all the effort left in his being, he reached out a bloodied hand and traced the lettering on her lab coat. "I love you, Mom. All I can do is hope I haven't ruined what we once had." With that same hand he reached out and dried her tears, leaving a faint trail of blood where the tears used to be. "Don't cry, okay? You told me we'd meet again if this ever happened. Have faith in yourself...have faith in me." Kato's limbs went cold as his hand dropped to his side. He smiled, a beatific smile that transcended life and death altogether. "And now," he muttered. "...For the greatest journey of all..." Kato's eyes shut, and his breathing stopped. Kato's world went black.

Meanwhile, in the Soul Society, Kato's body tensed as if it had been shot. He stopped breathing and his body went still.

Yuki entered the scene, appearing solidly between the malevolent spirit and her former Lieutenant. Her position of appearance, while between the two entities, was actually about a foot to the left. Arriving just in time to watch the panther increase in size by absorbing the chains that were wrapped around her subordinate's body, Yuki opened her mouth by a few centimeters, if only to express general amusement as she watched the dark Reiryoku, which possessed a similar look to Hei's but lacked the sheer killing intent, flow from Kato's body located behind her, towards the panther located in front of her. She turned her head, her gaze passing over her stump ov a shoulder to look down at Kato, inspecting his body for any signs of external wounds. The spirit lunged towards Elisia about a half a second after she appeared, but Yuki didn't seem to notice given the fact that she looked very preoccupied with the state of Kato's spiritual body, it being still and breathless. It quickly became apparent that Yuki was, in fact, still paying attention which was proven by the sudden extension of her right arm in a blur and her performing a lariat on the panther's neck. Not only this, but she steeled her arm so that he would be stopped by the unmovable pivot that Yuki's body was. Half a second later and she quickly moved to touch her fingers to her shoulder, folding her arm shut and aiming to crush it's upper spine and windpipe between her upper arm and forearm and keep him from moving.
"Trying to hurt an innocent girl, are you? You are a deplorable spirit. Weak and pitiful, preying on the innocent rather than picking a fight with someone who has wronged you. Well, Kurohyō-kun. I have now wronged you and given you your chance. Will you take it? Will you fight me or will you be a good little kitty and sit in the corner with a ball of yarn while I take care of your wielder?" At this moment, she had no intention of releasing it either, no matter if it tried to scratch at her or bite at her or anything it could think of. In actuality, she simply hoped it had enough sense to know that she could overwhelm it in seconds and would flat out just give up. Holding her ground, she took Kato's vitals without turning, all of which came up to be not so good, which she had already surmised by the general state of his breathless body. Unconscious and without breathing, one doesn't do much else than slowly die. Turning her head, she looked to Elisia and smiled, though it wasn't a happy go lucky smile, it was sorta empty which was to be expected given the place her heart was in at the moment, though she did her best to put her personal feelings to the side. "Quickly now, make him breathe again. We wouldn't want a Captain dying because of bad medical care, now would we? Looking bad is the last thing you need to do after so recently gaining the position." Yuki's gaze slid away from Elisia and Ronin and back to the over grown kitten, certainly not forgetting it yet.
[And the lariat can be avoided, of course, which would render the neck clamp thing obsolete, along with her holding it in place. Well, only avoidable if the panther can somehow change direction mid-jump... that and outstrip the Captain Commander in terms of speed. Also, Kurohyō = Black Panther. I just assume it's a black panther for obvious reasons. If not, tell me and I can edit~] The winds will blow their own freshness into you, And the storms their energy, While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

☇【ｓｑｕａｄxｆｏｕｒxＣＡＰＴＡＩＮ】 Elisia was about to defend herself somehow although it would have been hard to without her zanpakuto. It seemed as if Kato had not told her everything about his zanpakuto, especially since it could seal her actual abilities, it would be very problematic if she was trying to heal and fight at the same time. Huang must be fuming mad right now, since she had been sealed away. Kido had been her next best guess, due to the fact that she couldn’t really attack him since her physical abilities were limited. However, as she had just caught the appearance of someone out of the corner of her eye, she turned her head to see the appearance of her former Captain. Uh-oh. Noticing that Yuki was holding her arm in her other hand, she was absolutely stunned and her mind traced over the possibilities. What could have happened? Did the enemy attack or something like that? Sufficiently distracted, she barely had any time left to be able to form anything at all, cursing herself under her breath for her carelessness. However, Yuki had intervened, luckily enough, since Elisia herself wouldn’t have been able to defend herself. As Yuki attacked the massive panther, Elisia diverted her attention away from that and at the chains, which had luckily disappeared. Now, she had a bigger problem, to say the very least. Kato had basically stopped moving at all. Quickly checking his pulse and breathing, she pulled a grim face. He had become abnormally still, basically not breathing and when that was coupled with unconsciousness, that was definitely not a good sign for Kato. The only problem she had at the moment was the fact that she couldn’t diagnose what it was. It didn’t seem like there was fluid in his lungs or blocking his throat, and a heart attack was probable but it couldn’t be certain for the meantime.
Looking up, she nodded at Yuki, replying, “I’ll take care of him.” It wouldn't do her any good to worry about Yuki for the meantime, instead she'd deal with that later. There was only one thing she could do at the moment, and that was CPR, to make his heart start beating again. If his brain didn’t start getting oxygen soon, he’d die soon. She had gone through basically the first few steps, so now all she had to worry about was the last few important steps. Looking up at Ronin, she asked quietly, “ Yuki-Taichou is fighting the panther, but for the meantime, would you mind making sure that neither me nor Kato is harmed? I’m trying to help your Captain and I won’t be able concentrate if I’m getting distracted.” She didn’t wait for his consent, since she had no time to waste at the moment. Pinching Kato’s nose tightly, she leaned down, sealing her mouth over his and breathing two ‘rescue’ breaths. As soon as she was done, she placed her hand over the lower half of Kato’s breastbone, pressing down firmly and smoothly thirty times. She repeated the cycle several times, her anxiety peaking as she anxiously hoped that Kato would wake up soon. If he didn’t get up soon, she’d have to use the defibrillator, which unfortunately was located back in her Division. Briefly stopping, she summoned a Hell butterfly, sending it to the Fourth Division healers, to tell them that she needed a defibrillator and needed it immediately. She didn’t delay any further after that, continuing her cycle of thirty compressions to two rescue breaths.

The steady beat of Kato's heart was the first sign that he was coming back to the Soul Society. His eyes cracked open to reveal a blurry figure above him. He took a breath; energy flowing back into his limbs like liquid mercury. His vision cleared to reveal Elisia over him. He put his hand over hers as she performed CPR, simply smiling back weakly and saying, "Thank you..." At a loss for words, and simply overwhelmed by emotion as memories of what happened previously came back to him, he broke down in tears, silent as the tears rolled down his cheek. "I was so close..." he cried. "So....CLOSE!" He put his hand to his face in an effort to stop the tears, but it didn't work.

Eying the panther as it disappeared, Yuki brushed her clothes off to rid them of the feline's fur, thought before doing so, she put her severed arm down on a chair, leaving it there for the time being. "Hmph. No innocents my a**. Innocent to the situation, yes she was. I need to learn something indeed. I need to learn just why Kato-kun has such a disrespectful spirit." Mumbling to herself, she turned around, bent over Kato's bed and put a hand to his forehead to feel his fever, if there was one. Her hand would have a natural cooling effect given her water affinity. Pulling a rose from her haori, she set it down on his beside table and put her hand atop it and whispered some words to herself, the likes of which had been spoken in the present company some time ago, back when those three were lower seats. "Fragrantia Floris, Meis Amicis Vigorem, Vitalitatem, Auram Salutarem. Refectio..." Her wind affinity hit it, spreading the flower's fragrance throughout the room to induce calm and perhaps help the boy feel more at ease with whatever he was dealing with inside.
Straightening up, Yuki looked at Elisia and smiled. "Well, he should be okay now. Whenever you get the chance, I would appreciate it if you would put my arm back where it belongs. I'll leave it in your care as I have some other things I need to take care of and I do not wish to carry it around while doing so. Sorry to barge in and leave so unexpectantly but I just felt it prudent that I should check it out and whatnot." It was true enough, she had been worried about Elisia and she had been right on the mark to stop Elisia from being harmed further, but it seemed now they just wanted time alone with their friend. Ronin because Kato was his captain and Elisia because Kato seemed to have some feelings towards her and with what she was getting from Elisia, she too was experiencing feelings for someone. Little did she know they had nothing to do with Kato, but her own daughter instead. With a small bow, she disappeared from sight.

Ronin Kurai - 7th Division Lieutenant
Ronin looked at the Captains saved his form death once again and he seemed to feel rather useless again in terms of helping his captain. It was amazing so this was the powers and bond between some of the Captains of Soul Society. He would never be able to protect anyone or even help. Ronin than saw that his captain okay and paced over to his side and just fell on his knees and began to cry, he tried his best to hide them, but he was sad, happy, and grateful all at the same time to the emotions to see that his captain is going to be okay made him cry form a mixture of emotions. "I'm sorry I'm always so useless Captain Kato!" he said as his voice was mixed with so many different emotions that it was almost not understandable. "I want to get stronger to protect you and not be dead weight you have to carry around all the time!" Ronin was being serious and he was speaking with everything he had and what was the truth for him. "I couldn't help at all, If the Captain Elisia & Yuki hadn't come you would have been dead..." he stated as he looked down at the floor now and not at Captain Kato.
Ronin still was think about the panther for a moment before he realized that he should help now as much as he could, so not to make himself even more useless. "Elisia-Taicho, please allow me to help take care of him..." he said before than stood, wiping the tears and looked at Yuki-Taicho. Than suddenly bowed as low as he could to the point that his forehead was touching the ground. "Yuki-Taicho please help me get stronger! I want to get stronger so that I can protect Captain Kato and not be so useless to him!" Ronin shouted as he was bowing and not moving. "I want to get Stronger, not just for Kato's sakes, but mine as well!!!" he said with as much courage as he could.

☇【ｓｑｕａｄxｆｏｕｒxＣＡＰＴＡＩＮ】 Elisia, checking his pulse again, was surprised to see the fact that Kato’s heart seemed to be beating again. She brushed some of Kato’s long black hair from his face, several tears falling out of the corner of her eyes as relief set in. Everybody seemed to be needing to cry or something like that. What was he so close to? Everything was confusing herself. Elisia barely managed to compose herself enough to see her former Captain leave. Standing up, she bowed to Yuki too, saying quietly, “Thank you, Yuki, I couldn’t have done this without you.” It took a while for her system to calm down from the shock and fright that she had, but eventually, she took in several breaths, gathering herself together. She dried her tears, before taking some tissues from her own pouch and dabbing at Kato’s tears. If Yuki hadn’t been present, she wouldn’t have known what she could have been able to do. She owed so much to Yuki, through all these years. This state of calmness was something she hadn’t been ever able to achieve by herself and she took advantage of it, closing her eyes. It took her a while to sort out all her feelings and thoughts, putting them together and placing it in a logical sense.
When her eyes reopened, they were clear and focused. She knew what she wanted, what her goals were, what she needed to do and all her emotions. There was no uncertainty or anything else. This had been a good opportunity for her to be able to do something that she should have done a while ago. Squeezing Kato’s hands, a worried expression appeared on her face as she examined him for any injuries. In a reassuring and calm voice, she asked, “What happened there?” Lifting her head, she looked up at Ronin, who seemed to be going through different stages of emotions. It seemed like other people were setting goals for themselves and sorting their lives out too. They needed to anyway, before they would depart for the Exaequare dimension. Staying where she was, she merely said quietly in a firm voice, “Ronin, you did well under the circumstances, you are not useless. You need to help yourself to get stronger – ask your Captain about training when he’s better. Don’t beat yourself about this.” He had done pretty well, as she had said, and it wasn’t his fault that this happened in the first place. though the.BRIGHTEST fell. Seeing Elisia compose herself so quickly made it easier for Kato to regain his proper state of mind. He quickly got up and walked towards the door of his quarters. At this time his wings extended to his fullest, although it wasn't a problem; his quarters provided ample space. Seeing his wings behind him, Kato only smiled to himself. He turned back to Elisia, a beatific smile tinged with sadness graced his face as his light affiliated Reiatsu began to leak out unconsiously. "Well, thank you Elisia-taicho," he said formally. "I am once again, indebted to you; my life and all. May we meet again...in more pleasant circumstances I hope." He bowed to her respectfully and then turned to Ronin. "Meet me at the Training Grounds....on second thought, go get a bite to eat. I'm sorry I've put you through all this....I shouldn't have." He turned to back to Elisia as he sat at the edge of his bed. "And you as well, Elisia-taicho. You should eat, I don't want you to lose strength you waste on...me..." He hung on that last word uncertainly, as if to say something else, but thought better of it and covered it up with a smile. He got up from his spot for a moment and attempted to leave, but he was still light-headed and not yet used to his wings, causing him to fall over and smash his wing into a mirror on his bedstand, cutting it slightly. Ignoring this, Kato gingerly got up again and walked outside.
When he got outside, Kato murmured to himself as he walked to his favourite place in his squad. "La tua luce eterna....durerà quando tutto il resto svanisce .....ava al di là di tutto.."
