They probably don't have enough to develop for next gen and don't think it's worth it to do it on PS2? If that's the case, it's sort of depressing.

Un fortunetly some developers are smart enough to realize that people play on their old out of dae systems or that appealing to a crowed of a few next gen owners wouldnt help them at all, Link is the only game for the psp it will not be a series like the others, and unplugged, man am I out of date
