"Isn't it beautiful?" Erebus asked as he joined by her side. He gazed up at the stars and knew it was just about to happen. As the moon moved just into place, its rays of light would light the cave up in a silvery, diamond-like sparkle and would reflect the very night sky and all its beauty. The stars would seem as if they were right there with him and Sara. Then that would be the perfect time to ask his question, to make her his forever.
"Watch the cave walls, you'll love this!"

Sara nodded in agreement, "Yes you are," she blushed and looked him in the eyes. But at his command, she stared at the walls and it wasn't long before she saw what he meant.
"Oh my! Erebus how do you find such beautiful things in the world!" Saraphina stared at the darkblue sky. The moon, the stars; they looked like an endless abyss among the icy surface. Such a silvery dream of one's own imagination! She couldn't believe it was possible! Sara went to one wall and lightly touched the surface. It was solid ice all right, but it looked like the very heavens was right there in the room with them. Silver sparkled here and there, contrasting to the darkblue surface that was merely an empty canvas that had been filled with stars over an endless time.
"Oh Erebus," Sara went back to his side to gaze at the sight with him, that surrounded them.

"Angel, you're just as beautiful," he returned the compliment and smiled genuinely. Erebus was ecstatic that she loved the sight, but he knew one thing that was just as amazing as this; it was her. Not wanting to hold it in any longer, her tried to muster up enough courage to ask his Angel to never fly away from him again.
"How do I find such beautiful things? I don't know," he answered with a sad smile. It was luck, that's all it was. But he had found her by fate; it had to be fate, or luck playing a cruel joke, which he hoped was not the answer. "Angel, those things don't amaze me at all. They're just not as beautiful as you are," he was dragging it on. He was so afraid of the answer he would get from her, Erebus was almost sure he would chicken out.
"Angel, Saraphina. I brought you here to this one special place because I want to ask you something. And, I want a truthful answer. Will you be mine forever, will you be my mate?"

At the mention of her name, she turned her attention to him. Sara was almost hypnotized by the sight she hadn't heard what he had said before her name. The question that she knew was going to be a war to answer, finally came from his mouth and she couldn't believe it was happening at all. Erebus I want to say yes, she thought. All at once it seemed she had two people yelling at her, but it was nothing more than her heart and mind. They both seemed to yell out, if you want to say yes, then say yes!
But she wasn't sure. It seemed ages before Sara finally said, "Erebus, yes. I love you and never want to leave your side, you are the only being since my falling, that has ever shown me any love."

He was nervous and dropped his eyes to the ground to stare at the stars under his claws. She seemed to take an eternity to answer, and he wasn't sure she ever would. Erebus got ready to bolt out of the cave if she rejected him, and would never again return to her. But as he heard his name, Erebus looked up into her eyes and felt his heart flutter. Yes! She said yes! Erebus smiled widely and moved to lay on the ground and pulled her down with him. "Angel, I've loved you from the very beginning," he said then growled low in his throat with a devious grin, "You know, we never did finish."

Sara ran one paw along his body and purred, "Yes my love, we never did," she giggled seductively and ran a paw through his fur, "Tonight, you may have whatever you like. I am yours," she moaned as she felt him pierce her skin with his teeth and fell under a spell of pleasure and excitement and shivered under his very touch as he trailed along her body with a single flaming claw.

Feeling her body under his nearly pushed him over the edge and the taste of her blood only excited him more. As he sucked at the last few drops of her Fallen blood, he growled deep in his chest, "Yes you are mine," then pushed his body to hers . . .
