Zane silented himself and looked down knowing that she was correct. The accusing voicing behind him was familiar... was it Maha? He was not sure. Zane fell to his knee again his hand grabbing his chest. His heart weakened and his eye sight was nearly half way gone. Zane slowly stud up again and sighed to himself as he felt his heart beat was slowly disappearing... he knew that at this pace he would die on the trip home if he kept his mouth shut and didn't have any more missions to do.

All together, she had glared down and leered at the smaller girl as her eyes fixated themselves on her face. "..." with one sigh, she had bit her lip and clenched her fists into tight balls, brushing her hair back as she tried to calm herself down, "... Just tell me... what happened, please." She spoke very slowly; for it wasn't that she didn't trust Kurayami, but rather, she wanted to asses the situation without having to overanalyze things. What had happened to him while she was gone...?Paradiso - Graveyard of the Memories of Time

Shichiyou Kurayami Shichiyou glanced at zane as he practically colapsed again, and she looked back at Maha, matching her glare. "Hero's water." she said simply. "Aparently his life was already pretty short before he took it." she said simply.

"..." Maha bit her lip harder when she heard this and let out a ragged sigh as she looked down at Zane. ... He was dying? Why...? Why didn't he tell he-- A cruel reminder struck her as she let out a harsh chuckle, tears begging to course their way out of her eyes as she sniffed a bit. Dumb b***h... He tried to tell you... He really tried... But did you really care to listen...? To hear what he had to say...? "..." she then knelt down and brushed his hair out of his face before forcing a painful smile on her face, closing her eyes before weighing her response to Kurayami. "... How long does he have?" she asked. Her voice calm and soft like a Mother's voice. The same kind of voice she used when defeated or convicted of a crime.Paradiso - Graveyard of the Memories of Time

Shichiyou Kurayami Shichiyou closed her eyes and thought for a moment. "He's going blind, and he keeps spitting up blood... considering he doesn't choke on the blood, I'd say less then 24 hours most likely..." she said quietly, trying to think it through. He might last a day if lucky, and if he doesn't drown in his own blood first.

She knew she was crying. And laughing at the same time. At how this was all happening. She couldn't help it. Whenever she got frustrated, or upset, all she could do was laugh. In defeat, perhaps. Because it was her own fault... But the tears where already starting to fall unto the snow. She needed to toughen up for once... "... I'm sorry," she whispered, touching his face with a gloved hand, "I... I didn't mean for any of this to happen... I'm sorry I left, Zane... I'm sorry..." she said softly, smiling as she stared down at him.Paradiso - Graveyard of the Memories of Time

Zane looked up at Maha as she was saying sorry to him. Zane was paler then normal and blood was coming from the sides of his mouth but smiled to her as he was dieing. " It's... ok... Maha... " Said Zane in an weaker voice then when he talked to Shichiyou. then looked down into the blood in the snow. " I.. Forgive... You... " He said as he took a swallow of blood now completey blind as his eyes turned white signeling his sight was now gone. Zane looked up into the sky but could only see the darkness that his eyes showed him. He closed his eye lids and lowered his head. The ice cold air and snow was now finally kicking in taking it's toll on his body as he started to shiver in the ice cold. " Help... Me... Please... " Asked Zane knowing his time was very close and limited.

His Sage chakra now exhausted- Warui made his return to the group, looking confused, but more importantly angry. "Oi! Hakubo! What the bloody ******** hell are you playing at! Give me one goddam good reason not to beat you stupid or so help me ******** god I'll put you six feet under the ground with the other worms!" He roared- still charged from the Hero Water. Zane was down... he saw this. He realized this... but his temper had got him by the balls and had him in a righteous frenzy.

As if on que the Snow erupted, shattering all semblance of order in the desolate landscape. A hazy snow storm obscured the area, as if a great blizzard had rolled in. What appeared baffled imagination with it's size. The staggering behemoth ruptured forth from the under-earth.
Each stubby finger was the circumference of a small house and it's head was poised several miles up, dispute the hulking monstrosity residing in the center of a sizable crag.
Whatever sin summoned this demon must have been great indeed- the killing intent it leaked off could cripple a confident ninja if they didn't watch themselves. Something otherworldly and terrible hovered about it- like your very soul wished to flee it's body in hopes of a quicker end.
Still something wasn't right- a small, insignificant figure was perched on his shoulder.
And all that could be said about the terrible nature of the Behemoth could be said twice about the small man on his shoulder...

Shichiyou Kurayami Shichiyou glanced at Warui as he started yelling at... Hakubo? Shichiyou shifted her gaze and looked at Hakubo for a moment. Where had he been?! Was it true that he was really with the Tengu? Shiciyou didn't know... She glanced back at Zane and helped him to his feet. "Come on, we need to get you out of the cold..." she said, then something caught her eye. A movement in the snow. Emedietly Shichiyou grabbed Zane and jumped back a distance from whatever that was she saw. She was expecting to see a Tengu, but whatever that was... it was much worse. Shichiyou gently set Zane down once they were a safe distance away. "Sorry Zane, but I'm going to have to leave you for a minuite, stay alive, okay?" she said, but didn't wait for an answer and dashed away. "Warui! Stop yelling at Hakubo and pay atention!' she snapped at him as she ran in his direction, still ull of energy from the hero's water.

Warui was no longer yelling at Hakubo... he had brought down THIS on them... The alliance Sage couldn't help but tremble, his body paralyzed with fear as he took a long moment to regain his composure before being able to speak again, "Oi... yer right corpsey... we 'an deal with this sycophantic nut-hole later... I'm more interested in... in..." Warui started to loose it again- the killing intent on this thing was unreal... "...in drop'en whatever the 'ell that is..."
Warui fought to retain his composure. Even with the Hero Water- this was an imposing opponent to say the least. If he wasn't immune to illusions he wouldn't have believed that something like that was real... Was this the Tengu? Was this Hakubo? Was this Fuka Akuma?
Warui's brain was scrambled- he couldn't think! Whatever that beast was, it was sending him into a fear induced tailspin and he could hardly hope to pull up. He was going to die... this was it. Nothing could destroy something the size of a mountain with that much power...

Shichiyou Kurayami Shichiyou skidded to a stop next to Warui and pulled her scythe off her back. This thing... was massive. There was no way they could beat this thing. She looked up at it for a moment, and there was a flash of fear on her face. There was no way anyone could beat a thing like... like... like that! Shichiyou closed her eyes for a moment and swallowed her fear, then calmly looked at Warui, who was clearly thinking what she had been. "Any ideas...?" she asked him. He was leader after all. Shichiyou kept her eyes locked on the massive... thing, before them, her shuriken held out in front of her just in case. This, is not going to end well...

Warui managed to drag himself out of the stupor long enough to respond, "Oi... well no matter 'ow big it is... it can still be effected by illusions right..." Warui asked, really not sure if what he was planning was going to work. "I had to learn a Sage Technique that would seal away enemies in their own mind in order for the Toad Sages to let me leave when my body was all messed up... 'said they couldn't send me to my death- but I'm all outta' sage chakra and I'd need to summon Aoi..." He considered. He had the personal summoning scroll of his friend... and he used the term very lightly. However it was his best plan- but he wasn't knowledgea-
"O god... you're gonna die! Run! Run Run!" Cried his own mind urging him to flee. This was NOT something a chunin should have to face. This was something out of a nightmare.

Shichiyou Kurayami Shichiyou trembled slightly as she watched the mountain of a creature... This was not good, not good, not good... Shichiyou nodded slowly. "That might work..." she said quietly as she looked at the thing. It was huge! It was-! What was that...? "Warui, that's that on it's shoulder?!" she asked him. She thought she saw something, but she couldn't be sure, she might be seeing things because of the fear that was surging through her.

After examining the spec for a few seconds Warui decided, "Oi- Looks like a person but whatever it is- it's giving off a worse vibe 'en the big one..."
Warui couldn't tell who or even WHAT it was. If he was any judge though- it would appear to be about the size of a human. It might be a viable target- for all he knew it was the thing controlling the beast.
