I vote Athens. Besides, they've got Athena's favor. If she really does exist (I say yes, she does exist) she would DEFINITELY go Athens (duh). And you know her, she would never give up. She is the Goddess of strategy. She'll kick their sorry behinds.

One of Sparta's dieties was Artemis. They had a ceremony dedicated to her that each young hunter went through when he came of age.
Also, I believe that Artemis would side with Sparta, because while the Spartan women did marry, they weren't slaves like the Athenian women.
Plus, Ares is a scary god to be against.
And Athens did have military strategy. Yeah, I admit that. But strategy doesn't matter if you don't have the ability to back it up.

I think Athens would win. They can make a good strategy and defeat Sparta.

i say sparta would kill athens. after all sparta won most of the wars and battles. plus lolly is right spartans aren't stupid.
