Well, that's the magic of potatoes- just drop them anywhere, and they'll grow.
I'm not even kidding about that s**t.
Sounds like something I should do with my class. We planted a mini veggie patch last Spring and the hubby got to enjoy cherry tomatoes over the summer.
Which variety might you recommend? Russet? Yukon Gold? Regular old baking potato?
I don't know, if it's a potato, I'm eating it. But I THINK I planted Russet potatoes.

Russet potatoes are super awesome~! My family grew some one summer, and we made french fries out of them after they grew! XD
